"Hold on we're jamming warp speed!" The blue hedgehog belted out
still unaware of how strange his outdated lingo sounded. He took
Umi's hand revving up his furious feet as his sneakers erupted
into a red and white blur. The sound barrier shattered as Sonic
blasted off across the water running so fast the various jungles
mountains and deserts between them and the city started to blur
together so rapidly due to the speed at which Sonic was passing
them. This sense of speed is what Sonic lived for and what he
trained everyday of his life for, Umi had her water and Sonic
had his sensation of speed, he'd experienced her waves first
hand now she got to feel like what it was like to be the Fastest
Thing Alive!

Umi couldn't even let out a surprised yelp before being hauled
over various different environments and landmarks in a
watercolor blur of beauty. Is this what he got to see every time
he runs?? It's so pre--
