New Setting

The Setting
The current Sonic Spotlight setting is set one month after The
Resistance crushed Robotnik's ambitions for world domination.
Sonic bravely tried to fend off the threat himself like he
usually did, however this time he met his match in a mysterious
stranger. After falling in battle Sonic was captured and
tortured for months on end as Dr. Robotnik gained ground with
his invasion. With Sonic out of commission Dr. Robotnik easily
wiped out the remaining forces taking control of Mobius. It
wasn't until talented individuals from across the globe joined
the effort the tides started to turn. These individuals (Your OC
or canon character only if you wish to had been a part of The
Resistance) lead a second assault assisting everywhere they
could from gathering Intelligence to fighting on the front
lines. After a time they managed to free Sonic dragging the
badly injured hero to safety. Upon his rescue Sonic was in no
condition to fight, so even more new members banded together to
hold the vast robotic armies at bay. After getting some much
needed R&R the blue hero took the fight to Robotnik alongside
his new allies and ended the obese overlander's tyranny. Having
lost the battle Robotnik fled and Sonic took off, Robotnik to
lick his wounds and Sonic as he doesn't like other people
slowing him down. The time is peaceful but there's no telling
what the future holds for Mobius.
Explanation
We're loosely basing the setup off SATAM/Forces which allows
your OC to have a heroic history with The Resistance if that's
something you want, if not you are free to introduce your
character however you like. Sonic Forces had some good ideas
we're executed poorly, so we're going to run with the concept
but yanno make it fleshed out, detailed and good. Again no
humans exist and any canon characters played can be different
versions not limiting you to just the games or comics.
