The slap caught the spider off-guard, he glared a bit at the bat
in response, yet knew it wouldn't be wise to truly retaliate.
The spider sighed. He knew he was caught red-handed, so he may
as well spill the beans. "Alright, alright, you caught me. YES,
I am a thief. A GENTLEMAN thief mind you.
I steal what other's will not notice become missing. By the
way, the name's Hunter. The reason I'm stealing...I......I have
       a daughter I've adopted.
Her name's Angel." Hunter admitted. "I don't trust giving her
to an orphanage, I reckoned I could take care of her myself
       but....hell,
I can hardly support myself. I need these things in order for
both her and me to survive. The lesser of two evils, if you
will." Hunter admitted, he wasn't sure if this was the wisest
option to do; admitting all of this, but what other choice did
       he have?

Veira crossed her arms as she listened to the spider's tale of
why he is a thief. In hindsight she could see the reasons for
doing the stealing but stealing was still wrong. " Why not just
get a normal job and pay for the stuff rather than steal it?
Less hassle and less trouble to run into someone like me..." the
huntress replied as she taped her foot a bit. She didn't want to
sound like the bad guy but Hunter knew she was telling the truth
that this path he was taking couldn't last forever. Even if it
was minor things, people would still need these items.

"Sure....steal worthless crap , have children and pretend to be
       a gentleman....you watch too much TV...and yeah you'll get
caught by the goodie two shoes.." She said slow clapping. The
bat smirked. The situation was simply too delightful to watch.

"I've TRIED getting a job. You'd be surprised how hard it is for
a spider. People see that I'm 'different' and 'disgusting'
before they even get to know me." Hunter said to her, albeit he
knew that she was right. He couldn't steal forever. But he
couldn't afford to stay in one place forever either. Especially
with a certain goal of his. Starting to feel frustration get to
       him, four large extra limbs started to come out of his back;
each had what appeared to be a scythe blade-like end to them.

Veira sighed rubbing her head a bit. What was she suppose to do
with this guy. Turning him in would not only be a waste of time
but he was looking after a kid. She growled a bit to herself as
she found this annoying. Noticing the frustration an extra set
of arms appear caused her ears to stick up instantly as she
looked at him curiously. " Easy...i'm not looking for a
fight...at least not now....look just return the stuff and try
and get a job....please for the kid's sake. " she replied as
       calmly as she could.

"For Chaos sake! I'm different , no one likes me boohoo.....I'm
a bat, a military and a burglar and do you hear me complaining?
       Grow a spine....oh wait... You bugs don't have bones.....Grow a
harder exosquelleton for your kid's sake....you'd do miracles if
you'd put your mind to it..."
Rouge felt like being nice with someone. Who would've tought?
She grimaced and tapped her foot on the ground until she saw the
extra limbs of the spider. "Better cool your spinerets boy or
you'll have more than your kid to worry about...hospital bills
are costly and I'm wearing a new pair of shoes and don't want
       spider blood on them..."

Hunter slowly started calming down, he knew that Veira was
right. His limbs slowly started to retract back into his back as
he looked down in defeat. "Right...you're....you're right...."
he said slowly. He knew that he couldn't just steal all of this.
It wouldn't do any good for Angel if he was in prison.

Veira sighed in relief that Hunter wasn't going to fight. Now
for more pressing matters. " Now that that's said and
done....where is your kid by the way? Leaving them alone can't
be good either. " she replied to the spider.

"...She's back at....well....'home', I guess you could say."
Hunter replied. His home wasn't really much; after all; his
'house' was a literal cave. Hunter knew she was right. He
couldn't just leave her there all by herself. After all, she was
only six years old. Then again, he didn't know if it was safe to
risk having her come with him.

"Father of the year....find a babysitter damnit.." This time
Rouge was revolted by the spider. A father leaving their child
alone? Outrageous it was, even by her standards.
