"Are you sure? And...I definitely should've whispered.." the She
wolf pushed the door opened and closed her eyes. There was no
way she'd look at any of them in the eyes. The tight black dress
was revealing a pronounced cleavage and some curves that her
usual attire would easily hide. Since her pregnancy the female
had a healthier weight and more feminine forms. Showing her back
and shoulders was already embarassing but her cleavage was too
much. She was barefeet and rotated on herself." Is ....t-this
okay?" She clearly was embarassed and even tried to use her hair
to hide as much as she could.
While Pan appeared surprised to see her mother dressed like
this. " wow...even I never thought her looks could be salvaged,
she's almost prettier than me.." Her facial expression confirmed
the teen's surprise." I mean not that I care but...Damn Mother,
you are beautiful.." Val did her best to ignore her daughter's
reaction in case it would happen to be a mockery. She kept her
eyes closed and her face turned from bright red to dark crimson
and she even stood on one leg out of doscomfort and shyness.

When Val stepped out of the dressing room to reveal herself,
Veira's facial expression lit up a tad bit. She was also
surprised how well Val looked in modern clothing. It was quite
the improvement. She snickered when Pandora commented on her
mother's look. " Seems someone is given some praise after all.
You look great Val seriously. We should have tried this awhile
ago. " Veira replied with a smile as she went over to fully
examine Val a bit before giving another nod.
" What ya guys think?" she addressed the two soilders.

Both the girls looked up as they were addressed by Veira and
took a moment to inspect the Dire Wolf in her new outfit, indeed
it did look good on her and it also made her appear in touch
with the times, although it didn't take a lot for that to be a
thing either. Nevertheless, it was a nice change.
"That looks very well on you, Val," Maria said with a big
genuine smile, "it really fits you and makes you look like
you're up with the times. Wouldn't you agree Sabine?"
"Well, makes you look like a proper woman for once," Sabine
shrugged after a bit and snickered at Maria's annoyed
expression, "and that's not a bad thing. Quite the opposite,
it's a great milestone."
"Yeah, you're right about that," Maria nodded before focusing on
the fact that Val had her eyes closed and looked down, "come on,
there's nothing shameful about this, you don't have to lower
your head and close your eyes. Try to stand normal and hold your
head high... please?"
"So this is the next point on the checklist?" Sabine asked the
others, "she got the clothing, now the mindset?"

"Like you're one to talk" Val snapped before gently open her
eyes and composed herself. "It was ...it feels...nice." She even
had a tender smile. "Mom...you could pick up a decent date
dressed like this" the teenager said on a tone that felt like a
compliment as well as mockery.
"Quiet you, I did forgive you yet." The she wolf said on a mad
tone. " and if you want my forgiveness you will have to earn
it." Pan was almost affraid of her mother. Since when Val used
her parental autority? "Mom...I'm sorry..." She seemed sincere
but nothing would do. Val had her mind set." Your pity attempts
at excusing yourself won't do. Prove me you deserve it then
I'll consider it, for now I think I need a pair of shoes with
this dress and don't think one minute that you can sneak away
I'm still watching."
Pan looked unconfortable.:" aunties...mother is even scarier
now"

Veira nodded to the two officers as the next course of action
was the mindse....as well as a pair of shoes to go with the
clothes. Now shoes weren't always Veira's thing....being in the
woods a lot, she never had time for girly shoes or clothes. She
looked to Pandora who tried to compliment her mother but it was
too late as Val seemed to be doing her motherly duties and
scolding the young teen. This was a side she hadn't seen much of
from the dire wolf.
" And that Pandora is why you don't make fun of adults...you'll
do well to try and behave now I assume? " she asked the teen
before walking past to go look at shoes.

"That, my dear Pandora, is parental authority," Sabine said with
a smile, "something i've said that Val lacked for a long, long
time. Good to see she's finally caught up on that particular
things."
Maria was hesitant as she looked from Val to Pan and back for a
bit before sighing, she agreed with the others, "to be fair, you
haven't been the kindest child in recent times. That remains a
fact sadly, now, as Veira said, you'll have to try and make
amends for your actions. That is something we all must do."
Now it would seem a pair of shoes were on the agenda. So that
was what the two went to do now.
"Well, perhaps a set of black shoes would go along with the
dress, though i am not sure if it should be heeled or not,"
Maria suggested after a bit, "i mean, i never favored the heeled
shoes, too awkward to walk in if you ask me."
"I wouldn't say she needs high heels either," Sabine agreed,
"from what i know, high heels are for those who want to appear
higher than they are, something i think Val in particular
doesn't need."
"Fair enough... i guess," Maria shrugged.

Pandora lowered her head , she felt defeated but they were
right. She wasn't the nicest child and it was about time Val
punished her. "From now on, I shall behave... Starting now,
Viera could come with me I would like to talke to you about
something while Mom is hanging with her friends..." Val
curiously looked at her daughter being friendly toward Viera and
decided to wait and see.
" I suppose something simple would do indeed...and ...do I need
to get more of those clothes ...it's exhausting and ...at least
it's comfortable , yeah? Anyway if I have to go through this you
should too.." She said nervously looking at Sabine with a
nervous smile.

Veira raised an eyebrow as she looked at the young teen's sudden
change in tone and attitude. Had Val spooked the girl into
submission? It appeared so and she wanted to talk to Veira. How
strange but she would at least hear the girl out. With her hand
on her hip, she nodded to Pandora.
" Ok then...what do you want to talk about? " Veira asked as she
looked at the others for a bit before looking back to the teen.
She snickered a bit as Val tried to get Sabine to try different
clothes. " Ha good luck getting the tomboy to change into
something lady like....although....I can't talk myself..." she
muttered the last bit to herself.

Both Sabine and Maria looked at Val a bit confused, surely it
was her that was to be the center of this shopping trip.
Besides, they weren't in the need for anything new or had the
currency at hand to pay... well, maybe if they just kept it
cheap-ish.
"Well, you're technically the one in the spotlight right now
Val," Maria reasoned in an attempt to sorta avoid it, "i would
dare say that you're the one in dire need here."
Sabine meanwhile just rolled her eyes at Veira's comment.
"You're right, you shouldn't be the one to talk," she nodded and
then looked at both Val and Maria, "but... since you ask so
nicely... and Maria said i should join you in this, won't we,
Hawkins?"
"I- i- fine, let's do this then," Maria agreed after a bit,
seems she was going to go through this after all.

"Thanks to you I won't feel too out of place, and besides I have
never seen you two relax either." Val shrugged and smiled. It
had been a while since she could enjoy some time with her friend
without having to cancel or to watch her daughter and refrain
her from doing something she would regret. " Should we look for
Sabine first? Because they seem to have many sizes mine included
so I bet we can find sonething that might fits you and that you
might like!" Her enthusiasm was a bit sudden but at least she
seemed to be enjoying herself.
While away from the group the teenager looked at Viera dead in
her eyes:" I want to know something....even if I might not like
the answer to that question. What are mom and you to each
other..? And do not respond with it's complicated , mom say that
everytime and it gets on my nerves...and also..maybe I should
get to know you a little better and maybe find out why I dislike
you..." The released a sight and took a deep breath after her
speech. She was nervous and worrying about what Viera would say.
Her teenage brain was already imagining things she didn't want
to and crazier things.
