One Of Those Days

Today would start like any other day for the cities hero until
he remembered today was the day he promised Karahl he'd take
Sapphire dress shopping. A day both hedgehogs were dreading but
they both knew Karahl wasn't the type of tiger who took broken
promises well. He rolled out of bed strutting through his messy
apartment now seeming oddly empty that Tails was gone. He
slipped on his sneakers and dashed out to the mall waiting at
the entrance where he planned to meet Sapphire. He grew
impatient tapping his foot looking around for his mini me. The
center was full of people carrying bags filled with everything
from clothing to video games. "Where is that kid? The sooner we
start the sooner we can stop."

Sonic wouldnt have to wait too much longer, soon enough,
Sapphire would show, stumbling about a bit as she slowed down to
stop in front of him. Her fur was just a bit messy, and her
eyelids drooped a bit like she was either tired or lovestruck or
something, either way, she'd giggle, like something on her mind
was giggle worthy. The tapping of Sonic's foot soon caught her
attention though and she'd shake her head to snap to attention,
putting on a displeased look.
"Do we really have to go dress shopping?... Are you getting a
dress too?" She'd ask, a sneaky grin coming to her face.

Sonic shook his head scolding her. "Took ya long enough slowmo,
you look like s,hit up late late night again huh?" He asked
before shrugging as if to say it was obvious. "Of course
Sapphire and it'll be way prettier than yours. You know Karahl
is technically your mother now right? She said something about
you being presentable at our wedding and getting you other
dresses as a young lady shouldn't be wearing a jump suit or some
crap like that. You can still escape this Sapphire run back to
the future before she ruins your life like she did mine. I'm not
allowed to run in the house." He said sadly grabbing into the
front of her shirt.

Sacha and Val werw already at the mall for Uncle-Niece bonding.
Val was incredibly uncomfortable in the urban area while Sacha
learned quickly about the modern society and for once they could
have some quality family time together he forced her to tag
along." You act like urban and do shopping. Listen to uncle
Sacha's words of wisdom. If you want to find life partner you
dress urban." He said with a fatherly tone despite his niece
hating that kind of attitude. "Sacha I'm old enough to make my
own choices and I don't need you to try to get involved in my
personal life.." both were arguing in front of a clothing store.
They couldn't discreet with their height...and arguing just
didn't help.

Sapphire sniggered at the older hedgehog, looking aside, "You
could say that" She'd say to the late night part, "And you still
look like a blue pineapple" She'd add, giving him a teasing
grin, "Prettier then mine? In your dreams! Everyone knows I'm a
prettier girl then you~" Sapphire would say, placing her hands
on her hips "But. But dresses are gross! How am I suppose to
run?" She would ask before pondering "Why dont you just come
with me too" She'd suggest before laughing, which got cut off as
he grabbed at the front of her shirt "O-oh! Why'd ya get
yourself into this in the first place you pineapple?" She'd ask
before pointing to a very pink looking shop, next to the one Val
and Sacha where in "I think we'll find the best dress for you in
there too by the way"

Sonic just lowered his gaze to an unimpressed bored looking
glare as he grabbed Sapphire's wrist dragging her towards the
store as he muttered under his breath. "Amy should be doing this
stuff with you, I don't even sleep with her and I still get
stuck with a kid." He muttered to himself before passing Val and
her family. Sonic raised an eyebrow as he pushed Sapphire into
the rack of frilly pink dresses called the Little Lady line,
these were the same type of dresses Amy wore when she was a
child red and all. Sonic looked to Val and asked. "Hey kid isn't
that the crazy magic lady that helps us fight evil sometimes?"

"I help you fit in urban world, so you find right friends and
partner." he retorted annoying her even more. "Excuse you? You
hang out with military drunks and other shady people and you
want to help me finding the "right people"? You kidding right? "
she asked obviously angry at her uncle. "Da, you find pretty
dress and after you have an appointement with nice lady who do
hair." Val was annoyed and nowembarassed. "You did what ?! "
then realised that people were watching and she wanted to
hide...and run in the first store she could just so he wouldn't
follow her.

Sapphire laughed as Sonic grabbed her and dragged her over to a
store of dresses, mumbling under his breath "Maybe if you where
with Mum though, you wouldnt be stuck here trying to get dresses
with me you scaredy cat" Sapphire would tease, elbowing Sonic in
the ribs before he pushed her into the Little Lady Line.
Sapphire, after having read the sections name would puff her
cheeks and pout lightly, "Little Lady huh!? Are you calling me
short, Dad? " She would ask, stamping one of her feet with a
pout before she'd huff and begin to look at the dresses "They're
all too frilly and pink, can we go get lunch?" She'd then look
over, giving a nod "Yeah thats her! Wonder what she's up to in a
place like this! Maybe she's being bossed around by her Dad to
buy dresses too" She would say, shooting him a look before
looking back to the dresses, none of them where appealing!

Sonic raised an eyebrow crossing his arms. "Oh Sapphire I'm not
calling you short....your just vertically challenged." He
snarked before replying seriously. "You know what just for that
I'm telling Karahl, also it's my ass on the line if you don't
come home looking like a frilly flower so suck it up." Sonic
picked up the very same red dress Amy wore as a child complete
with the dorky ruffled shorts and pushed Sapphire into the
changing rooms. "We've got to get you at least three or I don't
get chilidogs for a week. Come on do it for your old man." He
said before looking at Val getting embarrassed, while Sapphire
was in the room Sonic started tossing boxes of shoes over the
top, nothing comfortable just high heels and dorky dress shoes.

Sacha yelled :"Find nice dress!" and Val responded with :"
Everything is too small and we are both color blind you idiot!"
Needless to say that they were causing a comotion in the mall
for yelling and people were worried that they might destroy
something with their feral behavior and look. "Do as I tell you!
It's good for bonding! I read that in book and you like books so
don't question. Oh there's blue roddents, you know them?" Val
sighed:" I don't know every blue roddents in mobius!" she yelled
from the store.
