Bar Brawl (Set after Arc)

The sun was getting close to setting as James lead Sabine and
Sacha into the bar he had chosen. It was a favorite among the
soldiers, they had some strong drinks and a pretty nice crowd.
"Well here we are," he said and did a mock bow, "this might not
be the best bar around in Mobotropolis, but i will be damned if
it doesn't have some of best people here."
"Heh, i can attest to that," Sabine smiled, "i am sure you'll
enjoy this place, old timer."

"What do you, Kitten is old enough to drink " he said jokingly
before stepping inside the establishement and sat at the first
table he saw. "Tell me now, what is good here? " he asked his
two companions while trying to find a comfortable way to sit on
the chair. "That chair will have reason of me.."

After a long and busy day, Veira decided to treat herself to a
drink at a local bar in town. She hardly goes out and enjoy
things like she normally would but figured she should at least
get her a few good drinks. She had just arrived inside when she
looed around for a bit. Right away she noticed a few familiar
faces. Sabine and Sacha to be precise. It was odd to see Sacha
in the city. It took Val a while to adjust to th modern world
and to be fair Veira still could see the uneasiness in the
witch's eyes at times. She decided o go and sit with them.
" Well it's been awhile since I seen you guys. " she addressed
the group with a smile and wave.

Sacha's ears and nose twitched at Viera's presence. Her smell
was somehow familiar to him, he knew they had met before and not
in the best circumstances." You, know my name. You are familiar
to me although I do not know why...but..you remind me of someone
I just can't pinpoint..maybe it is nothing. You urbans all
..strange." his last sentence sounded different. As if he wasn't
focused and brushed it off mid sentence and smirked. "What do
urbans drink ? Those two told me this is a nice bar full of
interesting people..so far I must admit , it is interesting and
full of how do you say...urban warriors.." he said jokingly
which was a good sign coming from him.

Sabine looked at Sacha and cracked a smile, "hah, you bet i am.
As for what is good in here, i recommend the whiskey, got just
the right mix."
Then Veira made her appearance which was a nice surprise.
"Indeed, haven't seen you in a long time either, how have you
been?"
James meanwhile extended a hand to the wolf.
"I can't recall meeting you before miss," he said with a smile,
"i am James Mitchell, Sabine's NCO."
Meanwhile, Sabine leaned a bit closer to the dire wolf, "yeah,
the army likes this place because it isn't a regulated as the
base. Simply put, we can get away with drinking the strong
stuff."

Veira iced t change in Sacha's voice. Had he forgotten her? Was
that what Val meant by he was different in a way? She had never
gotten a direction answer or at the least could not recall if
she did. She turned to James and shook his hand but also did a
small salute to the commanding officer. " heh interesting to see
the military in a place like this. I'm good by the way just got
done with an assignment of my own actually. " she said taking a
seat with the group.

"I did not caught your name. What is it again? I must have
forgot. Please , tell me" He asked her politely. "You seem to
know me while on the other hand know nothing of you. Could you
enlighten me on the circumstances of the first time we met." His
memory was still hazy and he raised a hand to beackon a waitress
and asked her in his northern accent a bottle of whiskey and one
of vodka." you urbans will have the whiskey, I have vodka.
Everyone happy, yes?"

"You bet," Sabine said with a laugh, "this was a great idea."
James meanwhile looked a bit concerned, "just try to keep the
alcohol to a reasonable level, we don't want any... incidents."

" My name's Veira...We meet a long time ago. Our meeting was a
bit shaking to say the least. " she replied to Sacha as she
rubbed her head a bit. To be honest, she didn't know how she was
suppose to respond to him. Would it be right to tell him Val did
something to him? No...it wasn't her place. If anyone should say
something it should be Val herself.

" Oh da, my memory is blurry. Though you are a familar smell.
Tell me woman , when and with with whom. So I'll have a reason
to celebrate seeing a friendly face!" he said on a friendly
tone. He seemed to enjoy the context and nothing would ruin his
fun at the moment.
