[Arc: Middle 2] Bubble Trouble
By: Caroline Bishop Date: February 4, 2017, 11:53 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Team Bubbles' bubbles would yank the team from their place in
the workshop, sending their guts into a scrambled mess once
more, they would all feel their feet lift off the ground and
their bodies would feel weightless for a few moments. This
moment was short lived however as, as soon as their feet had hit
the ground, Gravity would slam itself back upon them, reminding
them they where not weightless and had their feet back on the
ground once more.
The team had appeared in a sudden circular flash of light in an
odd room. Karahl would find her bubble that she'd broken to get
here was now gone.
The room they where in was made entirely out of white and black
and mixed white and black marble aside from the deep crimson red
carpet that spread across the floor, soft and elegant-like.
Most of the wall of the room was made up of glass, to view the
world outside. One wall however had a door that lead out of the
room and that wall was not just a wall but was also a large
shelf itself. Filled with many different objects, books and..
Toys?
Across from the door was a black and white marbled desk, which
was large in size. The desk had a few things featured on top,
one was a blood red lava lamp, another was a jar with something
pink inside, but the jar was clouded so what it was that was
inside couldn't be properly seen, the jar also had small writing
along the top of the lid which couldn't be made out unless with
closer expection.
Aside from the lava lamp and jar the desk was only also occupied
by an odd shaped ... Bowl?
It was shaped similar to that of a chaos emerald but was big
enough for anyone to fit their head into. Inside it was a misty
liquid with the density of melted chocolate but the colour of
liquid gold.
Nobody else seemed to be in the room at the moment, the doors
weren't locked but who knew what lay right outside it. The
Windows that took up the place of what would be three walls of
the room where odd though. They kept changing colours of the
outside world, changing scene... Rather then showing what was
actually outside the setting the window showed instead the
desired place of whomever looked at it. But with a group being
in the room, no doubly meaning multiple people where looking at
it at once, the Windows instead just kept changing scenery, from
deep jungles to sunsets to beaches to the city.
The group where free to look around... For now.
"[sub]I suggest we find some other way out of this room, if we
don't want to be found, taking the doors would be unwise[/sub]"

The darker half among the two kings of speed, discovered in the
pile of mobian bodies coming from a nasty drop, he begins to
question why wasn't there any safe landing protocols installed
in those transporters? Getting up he dusted himself and used his
focused field of vision to figure out where exactly did the gang
end up.
They were indeed inside their objective alright but the place is
surprisingly well organized and classy for a base of operations.
If that wasn't a shocker this area appears to be an ordinary
room, a children's room given the toys, books and other
accessories, how old is she? Are they dealing with a child?
He frowned noticing the "windows" changing scenery, there seems
to be a wall made of glass, and multiple doors leading the way
out...or the way in, perhaps this isn't a settlement for
children, at least not ordinary offspring.
What go his attention the most was the items on the desk, the
one object in particular reminded him of a chaos emerald, and
the others a lava lamp and a jar the former made him feel a
little more uneasy.
Taking Robins words to heart he agreed, they have no idea what
lurks behind those doors nor do they know anything about this
place. They could try to shatter the glass or the window but
that would be a one way ticket to them getting caught. "I'm
feeling strange energy coming from that bowl over there" he
said.

After wishing team trouble good luck, Veira's team was
transported to what she believed was the cat's main fortress.
After reforming, she landed on her feet only to stumble for a
second catching herself. In her position, she took a good look
around the room. Just where were they honestly? All the toys and
books made her question the cat more and more. Veira placed a
hand over her heart as she closed her eyes for a moment. " I'm
here guys....i'll find you soon. " she muttered to herself
before looking around the room. Walking over to the desk where
Shadow mentioned, she observed the odd object as much as he did,
taking a step to look over at the jar with words written on it.
" What's this on this jar I wonder..." she asked no one in
particular. She even took a sniff at the odd shaped bowl that
had a odd looking liquid inside. " I'll say this much....that
girl sure does live fancy. " she said scratching her ear a bit.

Karahl's stomach felt like it did a few somersaults after
teleporting - which was quickly becoming her least favourite way
to travel. The tiger soon stood up straight and with a hardened
expression behind her mask as she looked around.
"So we ended up in Her room - office, perhaps, judging from the
decoration." she deduced as she looked around before suggesting
to the Mobians already near her desk, "Maybe we could find
useful information in her desk; such as security codes, troop
patrol patterns or anything to do with what She might be
planning? I'm going to see if we can find any air vents or other
higher vantage points we could use to get out of here."
The feline Shinobi quickly, yet silently, stridden around the
room as she looked for such things; before taking notice of the
shelf filled with oddities. A brief glance through a nearby
window would reveal that she would see herself back home, safe
and happy with her entire family. The image, however, didn't
last for long as she continued to search for another possible
way out of here.

The distance of traveling to the huge desk and getting on top of
said furniture was the easy part, trying to search for any clues
for a way out of the strange room was another. Shadow first
instinct was to check inside of the bowl, the source of his
spines sticking up on end, this liquid does fascinate him about
its origin but it also wasn't their ticket to leaving the place,
or so he assumed.
he zipped over to the jar, visualizing something pink inside but
couldn't quite make out the shape because of the fog, he was
curious enough to inspect the jar, puzzled by the inscription
the second his eyes spotted it, "hmmm.." he was trying to read
what it says.

Mallow staggered a bit when they landed in the office, his
hidden anxiety did not appreciate the side-effect of the
transportation, and the rabbit turned a bit of a pale green for
a moment before he took another deep breath.
His eyes went everywhere around the office, his inner designer
and divo judged the interior design harshly and with bias as he
looked around. The rabbit moved about the office, tense and
ready for action at the drop of a hat. His super hearing was
tuned in their surroundings and beyond the doors and walls that
surrounded them. He didn't want any surprises that he could
prevent or warn his team about to be the result of their failure
on this mission.
Out of pure habit, the rabbit stuck close to the black hedgehog,
occasionally glancing at the object of his attention before
surveying the surroundings.
"There might be listening devices or cameras around here. I
doubt this room is clean. And if I was a paranoid bi- woman with
a tyrannical complex, I would make sure I knew everything that
went on in my own fortress." he said to the team in a low voice,
all the while he kept his hearing tuned to the room and beyond,
he tried to hear what was going on in floor levels below and
above. Any sound of breathing or movement that wasn't them, he
would report immediately.

Rouge flew almost silently exploring the room. Apperently the
owner of that bureau does live a fancy life. Without saying a
word she still mentally agreed with Veira. But the toys around?
A little to tacky for her. But her curiosity took over and she
grabbed the first trinket she could find and got closer to the
bowl. It looked like liquid gold. Which raised more question
collect a sample or test it first? She gently dipped the said
trinket very slowly and carefully in the liquid. Who knows what
might happen to it? It might be a risk but if no one tried
anything, they would never know. Rouge was careful enough not to
speak or even touch the floor or walls for that matter. The
rabbit could be right and listened to the ambiant noises around.
Her bat hearing would be useful.

Veira and Shadow would be able to read the words, 'Remember the
rules~' on top of the jar. Maybe the lid could be opened?
For Veira and those who sniffed the liquid, it would smell
like... Different things, all at once and at different times,
things that, that person had smelt before in their past. Robin
came over and sniffed it himself, his pink nose wiggling,
"Ooohh, apple pie!... No wait pudding! Wait.." He trailed off,
scratching his fuzzy chin.
When Rouge dipped the trinket into the liquid gold, the liquid
would smear over where the trinket had touched it, but would
simply dribble off of it and back into the bowl where it was
before once she brought it back out, doing nothing harmful to
the trinket. The liquid however as it dripped back into the bowl,
formed a bubble on top, but it quickly popped.
"Hey what's this?" Robin asked as he wandered over to one of the
shelves, picking up something that looked like a wand, like a
bubble blowing wand. He turned back to the group and tilted his
head... Why was it here?
Mallow would be able to hear the breathing of two other people
right outside the doors, but if his hearing could tell which
direction, it would alert him that they weren't faced towards
the door, nor moving from their spots. Guards most likely. Below
their floor he might've been able to hear electrical sparks and
whirrs along with a gentle breathing, like somebody was..asleep?
The floor above revealed nothing, no sounds whatsoever. Rouge
would be able to hear the same as he had.
Robin nodded to Karahl, placing the bubble blower down by the
weird bowl with its weird liquid before going around the other
side of the desk, there where many buttons on this side to
press, he tried to avoid such however and began looking through
some of the draws. "Uhhhh" He muttered as he grabbed hold of
something and pulled it out of the drawer to show the others.
It was two dolls, one looked just like Sapphire, the other, just
like Karahl, "This is a bit... Odd.. "

" Remember the rules...what on Mobius does that mean?....How
strange..." the huntress said with a raised brow before taking a
small sniff at the jar like Robin did. Like him she was getting
all kinds of smells. Ones that she could recall from her times
before coming here. This place was very odd indeed. When Robin
showed the dolls, Veira froze in place for a moment. She could
have sworn she seen those before.
" Why does she have those....I know she has a grudge against
Sapphire but Karahl....why one of you? Come to think of it..."
she trailed off in thought. " { The only person that had dolls
like that was....Pin....when I was bonded with Blaze. Does the
cat have her powers as well? But that shouldn't be possible...}"
Veira thought to herself as she crossed her arms.

Remember the rules..what does that mean?
that thought will have to come later once they escape this
office, his student warning them of possible hidden cameras and
radio transmitters made all the more reason to skedaddle. "If
that is case our target may already know we're here, listen out
for any guards close by and tell us when to hide" he instructed
Mallow.
Robin's discovering doll versions of Sapphire and that
troublesome assassin definitely snatched away his attention to
get a good look at what he held in his hand. This didn't make
any sense and what does Karahl have to do with this? He learned
about the dispute against Sapphire and she claimed thier foe was
her sister, adding to Karahl telling the group not to execute
the target....he is beginning to put two and two together.
"Assassin I believe you owe us an explanation for why we cant
eliminate the target" he folded his arms giving her a stern look
wanting answers, not unlike Ty who often does this whenever he
demanded something.
