Val would come back to the others hearing Sapphire's words made
her sad. She didn't know what to say, being herself in an
emotional turmoil. But instead of words she used gestures,
placing her hand on top of Sapphire's hand and offered her a
warm smile. If she's try to speak it would probably ending
Beastly lashing out just to make Val more unstable. She browsed
her bag and picked up a small bottle and offered it's content to
her. It was a flower , curiously still alive and well. The
little plant had a faint smell and it's roots looked more and
more like a tiny creature. The label on the bottle had a tiny
description. ~hope sprite. Instructions: pass the sprite to one
who needs it the most. Once it's purpose fulfilled release it to
spread it's warmth~ Maybe it wasn't much, but Sapphire needed it
more than anyone else.

By: Ashura Date: March 2, 2017, 4:29 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Ashura was fully ready to face both the electric explosion and
fireball, however, someone else had-- although unexpectedly--
reacted far quicker than the emerald hedgehog could reliably
muster in his currently sluggish state.
The Blue Blur. Sonic.
So he was acting just now? Ashura of course wanted to believe
this guy wasn't going to double cross everyone a second time; if
not for Sapphire's sake, but because his moral code alone
demanded it be so. Anyone can be good, if they just try.
Shuffling over to the group, Ashura listened in... Evidently the
blue male hedgehog was having an entire mess of troubles that he
wasn't able to properly process. 'Jeez, no wonder he dipped
earlier.' Ashura thought.
Sonic spoke of a choice. One he didn't want to even give thought
to. Losing two people he cared for; he just couldn't process
that. To Ashura, it was sad to witness. " Earlier everyone said
that Sonic was a hero... But that didn't mean he wasn't still a
person. "If you don't want to make that choice, then don't make
that choice. Defy the world, the very reality that is trying to
force you to choose. Find a different path. Save both." The
emerald hedgehog scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "I
mean-- If timetravel is possible-- then what isn't?"
"Anyways..." With a sharp exhale, he gave Sonic a smile. "I'm
sorry. I said some rather mean and unsavory things... Not that
you left us with many options what with the Golden Curse doom
laser act. I forgive you though. The name's--"
Then the group heard a noise. Something or someone was
approaching. In all honesty; Ashura didn't exactly want to stick
around and find out. "-- Ashura." His brow furrowed and his nose
twitched in displeasure. This always happened. "Tch, well,
proper introductions can wait, I think we need to get a moving
lickety-split, to wherever or whenever it is we all choose to
go." With a determined nod to the group, he was ready to move
on. "Its either home or further into the labyrinth, but we gotta
go now."

Sapphire, the soldier and even the glitch in the system we're
all singing the same tune, it took until now for Sonic to
finally hear it. He carefully handed the small girl off to the
medic before running his hands through his spines.
"You guys are right, you've been right this entire time. I can't
let my problems get in the way of this, there's something bigger
than me at the moment and that's not something I say often." He
looked back to Ashura pacing past him. "Kick out logic and do
the impossible huh? Yeah I like the sound of that, only problem
is what's happening. Time wasn't made to be messed with like
this, I learned that the hard way. A while back I saved the
entire planet by turning back time, only when I returned to the
present things had changed. People were all outta whack and if I
saved somebody who died in the past somebody else ended up
paying the reaper in their place, that's why Tails well...you
get the picture. I learned my lesson, messing with time to get
the desired results is bad news. We're not gods who can just
reshape the world and history as we please, we're just people
who for whatever reason have these amazing gifts. We share a
common bond using these powers to help others but.....sometimes
things happen that spiral out of our control. It's when those
things happen we have to ask ourselves are we just going to go
back in time and take a do over? Or are you going to live with
the consequences and keep moving forward. I eventually elected
the second option and that's also a lesson we've got to teach
that jumped up cat."
Sonic looked back to the people pleading for his help and nodded
his head. "Alright let's get going. Honestly I'm sorry you all
got dragged into this, this should have been a family only
matter that just Karahl me and the kid dealt with. Talk about an
overblown sense of drama dragging all these overgrown people
into it, she must get that from her mother." Sonic raised an
eyebrow replying to the green hedgehog. "It's alright man, don't
take it too hard. It's not easy to find the right things to say
when you're in the presence of somebody like me."

As suddenly as the noises had started they would all soon begin
to stop, very faint and quiet sounds of bubble popping may of
been heard by the team if they where quiet enough. Where... The
forces leaving?
Sapphire would look rather guilty when Sonic apologised to the
others, saying this should've been a family matter between him,
Karahl and her. She still felt bad about bringing anyone,
although she believed this to be between more then just the
three Sonic mentioned, she still got all these people into this
dangerous environment over something that was, well, believed to
be her fault by more then one other.
She would get to her feet and would nod to Maria before smiling
at Val, taking hold of the Sprite in a bottle and thanking her
for it softly, hooking it carefully to her medic belt before
she'd stand up as tall as she could and would begin to head off
again towards the tower.
"Lets get going!"
Eventually the team would indeed reach the fortress, Sapphire
would push on its doors, they wouldn't open, Sapphire would kick
the doors, they would open. Sapphire would click her fingers and
form her hammer before smashing it into the doors. The doors
where open now.
The small hedgehog would wander in and look up, there was a fair
amount of stairs! She'd usher for the team to come in, "The
guards are gone, I'm assuming this means our friends have done
something to draw them away! We need to get to that warp gate
now! They could be in trouble!" She would shout out to them as
she herself sped up the stairs and practically out of sight.

As Sapphire started to lead them through the ruins the sound of
bubbles popping started to appear ever so slightly, barely
audible. Maria wasn't going to question it though, not now where
they were in the middle of enemy territory.
Still, she could help but breath a little sigh of relief when
they reached the door to the tower... only issue was that it was
locked. It didn't seem to deter Sapphire though who, after
initially failing to push and kick them open, summoned a hammer
and smashed it open.
She didn't linger on it though, Sapph was right about the guards
being gone and what it meant for their friends, they had to keep
going.
"Right behind you ma'am... well, as close as i can be," she
responded and followed the young hedgehog up the stairs, time
for an endurance test it seemed.

Val streched herself for a few seconds before retrieving a vial
in her bag. She was exhausted but couldn't stay behind and
chugged the content of the vial to at least numb the pain in her
sore muscles and morphed her body adapt herself to run on four
like a feral animal and climbed the stairs at twice her usual
speed while being careful to avoid pushing anyone down with her
massive frame.

By: Ashura Date: March 14, 2017, 5:07 am
---------------------------------------------------------
It was as Ashura had hoped at the back of his mind. There was
simply an adverse reaction to a situation that had almost shaken
Sonic to his very core. The blue blur had some great luck on his
side however; those that had stood against him mere moments ago,
those that he now joined forces with. They all moved forward
together in some way, if they admitted it or not.
Time-travel had now gotten a bit more complicated. The way Sonic
spoke it implied that where there is death, there will always be
death... An ominous notion, for sure, yet it could have had
something to do with the method of temporal transportation
perhaps even the intent. However, the more Ashura thought it
through as the group scurried along, the more he figured it had
to do with action and reaction; if the mysterious cat aimed to
bend time to her whim and create a world where she ruled; the
forces of nature would create a resistance... Natural or
otherwise.
That was where this group came in. Champions from another time,
in some way chosen to put things right. It was possible that
they were the reaction.
When Sapphire gave the signal to speed up, Ashura started out
slow; and lagged behind a bit... But then he slowly ended up
holding a good pace; and kept it consistent. Not slowing down,
nor speeding up. The height of the seemed to matter little with
his newfound endurance (that he neglected to even notice, like
usual), and he would only stop if someone needed help or if
Sapphire gave some sort of signal.

(Ashura, that Men in Black 3 reference. Good stuff. :P)
Sapphire wouldn't be in sight when the team reached the top of
the stairs. And the doors before them were also blocked off,
apparently a blockade had been placed in the seconds between
Sapphire getting out of sight. A tipped over, white coloured,
round pile of metal, with a glass, opened front on it, blocked
the way through to the corridor. "Hohhhh!" it seemed that
it wasn't just the group that was being effected by the sudden
blockage, a light purple female with several mole features but
her back would hardly seem like a Mole's, was on the other side
of it, and trying to break it already. Those that were earlier
in reaching the top of the stairs, may have saw her curl up,
roll at the capsule, and just bounce back off of it at impact,
before getting back up. "Oh!" this figure would notice
the group as they arrived. "Hey? Hello? Hi? Can you guys
break this before my friend comes back and gives me the 'You
screwed up' look? I kinda don't like that look because it always
suggests that I did something silly!" she'd ask whoever was
at the top of the stairs and could hear her. It kinda stood in
the way of the group's progress anyway, so...
(Remember the Red capsules in 'Bullet Station' in Sonic
Heroes? Similar to that, Sapph says they're also a lot like the
capsules in 'Halo', if anyone knows them.)

Maria arrived at the top and came to a screeching halt as a
light purple figure bounced back off some sort of pod, a pod
that right now blocked their way forward as well.
"Uh... sure," she said and walked closer to the pod, trying to
take a hold of it "do we destroy it or move it out of the way?"
Naturally one of her frame wouldn't be able to lift it on her
own but perhaps more could do it together? She didn't know, but
they had to hurry.
"I'm in favor of moving it, but if's too slow we can just
destroy it," she told the others, "whatever we do, we just have
to be fast. Who knows what is happening to Miss Sapphire on the
other side."

Ashura's pace slowed- but only slightly- just to account for the
stranger's position. Removing this obstacle was needed either
way. Now, if Ashura had any proper control over his abilities he
would've tried to phase through it, but that train of thought
didn't even leave the brain-station so what was the next best
thing?
Why, punch the damn capsule of course!
While Maria was readying herself to lift the object, Ashura
closed in on it reeling back with one arm before his fist
flickered awkwardly- and upon impact the busted capsule would
morph and change into a pile of mashed potato! "Ah!--" Ashura
yanked his hand free from the pile of spuddy material, looking
from side to side nervously. "... I totally planned that. Yeah."
The emerald hedgehog started fidgeting before moving onward
towards the door to just avoid embarrassment.
