       Through the Wreckage

       The city was bleak from no visible activity hours after the most
       recent calamity came to pass upon the once vibrant city of
       Mobotropolis, with nothing but building creaking from collapsing
       being torn apart earlier and the clutter left on the streets
       from people who were idling doing their various activities
       before being so abruptly kidnapped away. There was no one in
       sight as many were either pulled away towards an unknown
       location or time or running away to safety with guidance from a
       particular yellow fox.
       There was no one left to witness the after disaster left upon
       the city, not until a dim cyan glow appeared in the distance
       growing rapidly closer and a bit larger as well. A faint
       whooshing sound came to pass between buildings, searching for
       any remaining survivors overhead. Anyone looking overhead, if
       there were any, would be able to see a glowing white figure
       within the cyan encase, its head shaking in disgust at the sight
       of all the destruction. While flying down one particular street,
       the figure caught the sight of a shimmering rainbow
       color-changing ball in the corner of its eye, tempting it to go
       off-course and land right next to the little thing. As it does,
       the figure stops glowing completely to reveal even further to be
       a silver-white male hedgehog with boots and very distinctive
       spikes coming off the top of his head.
       The white hedgehog leaned down to pick up the little rainbow
       bubble contraption and twirled it around between his fingers to
       observe its almost translucent quality. If he did not know any
       better, the hedgehog would have figured it was just a device
       used by any other villain to try to sabotage the city, but he
       did know. There is only one other person he knew who was
       interested in the technological exploits of something as so
       complicated and grand as it was used for...something he has even
       seen once before...a time bubble.
       Scrunching up his eyes he clenched up the bubble in his hand and
       looked up angrily at the sky, yelling out the name he knew was
       at least somewhat behind all of this.
