Is This A Game We're Playing Here?

[font=times new roman]The purplish-red hedgehog listened to the
sounds of the animals reverberating past her ears. She was
rather new to these lands; heck, she was new at traveling to
begin with. A look of concern and worry was plastered upon her
features, but she paid no mind to anything that could possibly
scare her. However, the sounds of clanking and shuffling was
rather abnormal to her as her. What was that noise, and where
was it coming from?
After a closer inspection, she could hear the sounds coming
closer to where she was located. Hana's eyes would widen even
more in alarm, trying to hide behind a large oak tree in hopes
that whatever was coming her way wouldn't find her, or have a
very slim chance of finding her. Perspiration dripped from her
brow. Everything inside her was telling her to run and flee,
but, that was the last thing she wanted right now as the
clanking was approaching her more and more. After what appeared
like an eternity, it reached her though not seeing her as of
yet.
The shiny, metallic being continued to shimmer from the sun's
rays as Hana turned to look at the being. Her eyes narrowed in
curiosity as she stayed hidden behind the tree, hoping that
possibly the robot would just walk away and leave. But, her
thought was cut short when it stopped and appeared to be looking
for something, but Hana hid and closed her eyes, hoping that she
wouldn't be spotted anytime soon. [/font]

Blaze sat in a tree relaxing as he often did when there was no
work to be done. With things settling down for a bit, he could
finally catch up on some much needed sleep or at the very least
relaxation. His ears twitched from tim to time as the sound of
metal touched the ground beneath him. Bing part wolf, his ears
had kenn hearing and he knew what that meant. One of Eggman's
robots was around the area. He sat up quickly and looked about
before looking below and seeing the robot in plain sight.
" Looks like we missed one...these things always tend to just
wander around now adays. Oh well better stop it before it does
any harm. " he replied before jumping down and landing a few
feet away from the robot. With his sword out and ready, he dahed
at he robot and cut through the metal with ease but just disable
the robot not destroy it. Twirling his sword and placing it back
on his back, he waited for the robot to collaspe to the ground.

A loud crash shook the ground that Hana was standing upon. Did
someone just come and destroy it? She turned her head around the
tree to see another mobain like she standing in front of the now
damaged robot. With a sigh, she walked out into the open, her
hands clasped together in front of her. She was never one to
talk to others unless she was otherwise spoken to, due to past
memories that she had had a hard time trying to get rid of
throughout time. Her violet eyes met the man's gaze. She would
at least say thank you due to the fact she hid like a coward
instead of trying to stop the robot herself. Hana kicked herself
for even thinking of cowering.
"U-um..." Her voice was calm and quiet, showing obvious signs of
nervousness as she looked to him. "Thanks for destroying that
robot. I was walking and...well...instincts and cowardice took
over," she admitted, turning her cranium to the robot with an
eyebrow raised. "Who does this robot even belong to? I'm rather
new to this area and, well, due to my travelings I haven't
really stayed in one place for too long to really hear any
news." She explained to the man in front of her.

Blaze watched as the robot fell and was just about to relax when
a new voice made itself known to him. Turning his head a bit,
his eyes met those of a young female hedgehog. Turning around
completely, he placed his hands behind his head as he had a laid
back expression on his face. " Oh i didn't know there was anyone
out here. " he replied to the girl before looking at the robot.
Based on her explanation, she was new to this part of mobius.
" That robot belongs to Dr.Eggman. A mad doctor whose bent on
ruling mobius. " he replied. He then held out his hand as if to
shake the girl's hand. " My name's Blaze by the way. Welcome to
Mobotropolis. " he replied with a smile.

Hana listened to the man's tale, nodding her head in response to
his own. So, a mad doctor was planning on controlling Mobius?
Why would he even wish to do that? However, her thoughts were
cut short when the man spoke again, this time saying his name as
he smiled at her. Hana was rather hesitant at first but soon
placed her hand in his own, shaking it in greeting. Blaze. It
was not a common name she was sure, but, then again she did not
live around these parts and she was trying her best to not think
about her past thoughts or actions. A caring, gentle smile
spread across her lips as she spoke to him once again.
"Nice to meet you, Blaze. My name is Hana," She explained, eyes
closing for a couple moments before re-opening them again.
"Also, if this doctor is as bad as you say he is, perhaps this
place might not be the best place to be. Least I got a little
information about what is going on here, and I appreciate the
information, Blaze." She spoke, her small smile never leaving
her face. Perhaps this man was someone whom she could trust? She
was not sure, though she did know that she possibly had to keep
her guard up at all times now.

Blaze gave a brief nod as Hana shook his hand before giving her
name. " To be fair, hardly anywhere is safe due to Eggman and
his robots. He has attacked our homes countless times even the
main city capital. Me and a few others have dealt with him
before. Each time his robots come back stronger and faster than
ever. But with sonic on our side things get done no problem. "
he replied with a smile as he put his hands behind his head
again.
" So your traveling on your own huh? Must be pretty lonely at
times. You got a family?" he asked Hana.

She understood the situation more clearly now. What a horrible
thing to hear. She hoped that maybe this will all be over soon,
though the way he was explaining the situation that probably
will not be the case. "Well, I am sure everything will be
alright soon enough." She explained, hoping that the words will
at least bring some hope back. However, she doubted that
scenario way too much. "Yes, I am travelling on my own in hopes
of possibly finding some place to stay until this whole mess
blows over. I am not really the 'fighting' type if my cowering
behind a tree when the robot appeared was not an indication."
The next question that the older male asked hit her like a ton
of bricks. Memories and horrid images flashed within her mind as
she closed her eyes, trying now to show that much emotion that
the question was causing her much sadness. ""No...My mother died
from an illness and as for my brother and father..." She turned
her cranium away and closed her eyes, wrapping her arms around
her waist. "I would rather not talk about them...Sorry..." she
explained.

Blaze gave another nod to Hana as she spoke of Eggman being
defeated and things returning to normal. " You bet...just you
wait and see. Me and my friends will be able to take him down no
problem. " he replied with a smile. His smile faded though as
his next question seemed to effect Hana greatly. Well that
wasn't what he intended.
" My apologies...i shouldn't have asked that question. " he
replied before looking away himself. " I also lost my
parents.....due to some poor actions i made in the past. " he
replied. " My brother and friend from our home island is all i
have left really. " he added.

So blaze too had lost his family? Well, it appears that things
have been changing a lot through a lot of mobian's lives, and it
made Hana feel rather ashamed. Other people did have problems
too, though she'd never had met a lot of Mobians with this kind
of problem. Now, he had also talked about having a friend and
brother that he could rely on, and that was great to hear to the
female hedgehog's ears as they perked rather happily. Her smile
would slowly reappear upon her features before focusing her
attention back on the man before her.
"Well, you did speak about Sonic. Surely he and his comrades are
considered your friends, yes? Now, I may not know your history
and you do not have to go to every single detail of your life;
but a friend always waits right around the corner for you. You
just have to find them," she grinned, rubbing the back of her
neck in embarrassment after seeming to give advice that he
probably already knew about. She would close her eyes, "My
apologies for my constant bickering. You probably have a mission
you have to get back to or something. I suppose I too should be
leaving," she bowed her head in a respective way since that was
what she was taught by her mother as she lifted her head back
up. ""Well, see you around." She soon turned and began to walk
off.

Blaze looked to Hana as she mentioned Sonic and the others being
his friends. In which he did agree with the hedgehog and put on
a smile himself seeing her smile again. She then mentioned that
she was going off on her own again. He rubbed his head slightly
before following after her. " Actually i was just relaxing to be
honest....maybe i can show you around the city or something. I
mean its not far and theres no telling of another robot attack.
" he replied quickly.
