Emerald Hunt: How to catch a Treasure Hunter

It has been two hours since the reunion of Karahl and Ty, ever
since she has brought herself into his life once again, there
exist a number of inner emotions going through his mind. He
couldnt brush away the feeling of being promoted from a student
to becoming her partner an offical ninja of the Snow Claws, it
is probably one of the only good things to happen after
everything he's been through aside from being appointed leader
of the freedom fighters.
There was also the death of Scourge he would find impossible to
forget, Not counting his military days nor the accidental deaths
of billions of mobians in the past...did he really just
committed his first ever murder out of his own free will of
choice?
Scourge most certainly did deserve to die for everythingl he has
done..but would the other freedom fighters approve of him taking
a life outside the law, especially if he was appointed leader?
For years they have been following under Sonic's ideology of
everyone deserving a second chance even if some are bad people.
How would Sapphire react to her friend doing the same thing as
Dr. Eggman..taking away a life without a second thought?
Perhaps he should either keep his body count to an absolute
minimum or focus on other ways to deal with thier enemies
without killing them, maybe breaking they're bones or taking
away something they value would work....because jail doesnt seem
to work so far. Although he believes killing should be a last
resort option to take, It will ultimately depend on the
decisions of the others to decide the fate of thier enemies.
There was also the subject of love, he is currently aware she is
with Sonic and he fully supports that relationship, however he
feels very awkward whenever he is near her for some reason, it
could be because he felt gulty for kissing her in front of Sonic
and wanted to apologize to her once they have the time to wind
down from a mission. Hell he is doing his best to keep a
straight face amd not bothering to give her a single glance,
there is so much to do and so much planning...no time to worry
about stuff like this.
For an unknown specific amount of time, the muscle bond ice
canine never once spoke a word during the entire time of him and
Karahl running together in the night. "Karahl.." he finally
spoke when it looks like his mouth would never open again.
"Before we go after Kate, we need a plan on how to secure that
emerald from her.." he stopped running to speak to her face to
face.

While they were on their way to find Kate, Karahl too had gone
quiet. Though she wasn't thinking much of the recent happenings,
but more so on focusing on what to do next; along with some
other missions which had kept her mind busy. She blinked with
surprise when Ty spoke up and she skidded to a halt, "Well I was
initially going to speak to her and try to convince her to hand
it over and then secure it in one of these cases." she replied
simply as she pulled out an empty, clear, hallow sphere from one
of the pouches on her belt before pocketing it again, "Unless,
you had something else in mind?"

He nodded "Yes, I have a plan, If Kate is away from everyone
else I will shoot her with a tranquilzer dart just so I can
steal her chaos emerald and replace it with an exact replica,
that way we obtain what we need without her noticing her
gemstone is missing and avoid unecessary confrontation with her
and the others.." one of the most well known traits of Ty is his
ability to plan out a situation whenever he sees fit to do so.
"First we need to find a jewelry store to purchase a white
emerald for this strategy to work, let me know if you spotted
one.."he begin to search around for the place he needed to begin
his plan. What he is going to do next is a surprise for his
partner, she will just have to wait and see what Ty has cooked
up......or is it freezed up.

Karahl nodded quietly, "And if she isn't alone?" she queried,
"And what are the chances of us finding a jewelry store that
sells identical replicas of one of Mobius' most iconic, mystical
relics?"

He placed a finger on his chin to think on the subject,
"Hmmm..now that's tricky, perhaps you could cause a big
distraction enough to get thier attention like using a smoke
bomb for example and while they're occupied I go and swap Kate's
jewel with ours, however I'm thinking it may be too extreme and
could put the others on high alert.." of course a major flaw in
Ty's planning skills is to overthink a solution and never try
going with a simple idea.
He folded his arms furrowing his eyes finding the answer to be
quite difficult even for him, "I suppose a much more subtle
option would be to not do anything at all and simply keep an eye
on Kate by studying her movements to the point where we may have
to discreetly follow her if necassary, eventually she will
isolate herself from the group and that is where we initiate our
plan, in truth it all boils down to how many people she is with
and whether or not we are lucky.." he finalized.
He returned his stoic gaze to Karahl whom appears tp also harbor
that same expression. "Jewel's come in multiple shapes, sizes
and color, im certain there are plently of emeralds we can find
in almost every jewelry store.
Technically we dont actually need a white one specificly but
rather a dull or a clear emerald, from what I can gather the
chaos energy stored in the mystical gems are the ones to give
them thier signiture color, essentially what im trying to do
here is to create a white chaos emerald of our own, and I have
an idea on just how to do it.." he nodded.
