Does A Cryomancer Have A Heart of Ice?

Not much time had passed until Karahl and Ty had arrived at
their next destination, though it was no better than the
warehouse. Still had the whole decrepit, abandoned vibe going,
only at a much smaller scale. Unless Ty had chosen to attack
her, the Cryomancer has no choice in the matter but to go along
with the tiger infamous for her strength; and they had scaled up
an isolated lighthouse by a desolate beach greeted by a dead
sea. She didn't let go of him until they had reached the
interior of the top floor of the lighthouse; riiiight next to
the busted giant globe.
Immediately after releasing him, she swiftly jogged around the
balcony of the top floor, carefully checking high and low in
case there may be a chance of other listening in. Once she was
sure no one else was there, she re-entered the room, casually
leaning against the door frame with a hand on her hip. She kept
an alert ear out for any disturbances around them; just in case.
"So, Ty, it's been a while."

He nodded recieving the note to the radio frequencies received
from the G.U.N agents before they and the rest of the team
departed after Shadow who is very enthusiastic for the job. Mr E
himself vanished to the unknown depths of mysterys from whence
he came.
He was getting ready to follow suit however a hand covered his
mouth along with a street slang whispered into his ear from a
familier voice he hasnt heard in months for quite some time.
Even the smell was recognizable, there was no denying it. Hey
isnt that!?
"!!!" next thing he found himself was in a lighthouse on an
isolated island, his kidnapper must've moved pretty fast for him
to be there in a short amount of time, very impressive.
He quietly gasped for air, he stood up from the ground to look
around in all directions, he frowned realizing he is no longer
back on shore away from the freedom fighters.
[font=verdana][Where am I....what is this place?][/font]
Ears pricked in parallel to the sound of a door swinging open,
sharp eyes enlarged and jaw nearly dropped having a clear view
on who it was that presumely dragged him all the way to a
newfound location. "Karahl!?" he exclamied.

Karahl smiled behind her mask and nodded, "The one and only.
Sorry about the rather unorthodox reunion but nowadays you can
never be too careful..." she replied before briefly looking over
her shoulder again. The tiger then closed the glass door behind
her, though unintentionally left it slightly ajar, before making
her way over to sit on a dusty table near the Hybrid.
"So, Ty, have you been keeping well? I must say, I'm impressed
with how much you have grown as a person since the last time we
met. Seeing your leadership skills develop is quite promising."
she commented casually.

Veira had started to leave the warehouse around the same time
the others had began to leave but in truth, she nearly stepped
out of sight of the others. Even Blaze and she was glad he was
okay but something was bothering her. Some strange feeling that
hung over her. It was then she realized something, when everyone
left, Ty hadn't come with them.
Normally this wouldn't sound bad so why did now feel anything
different. She thought she gave Sonic the emerald and he was
long gone. Kate was gone too...so why did she sense a chaos
emerald nearby? She had kept quiet until everyone left. She then
proceeded to follow the signal as well as Ty's scent. Being a
hunter, she tracked him to a abandon lighthouse by the sea.
Why was he here of all places? She was going to find out. Making
her way inside, she silently scaled the place until she was a
few feet below the top. She froze however when she heard voices.
She heard Ty's voice easy but the other voice took her a minute
to register. " Karahl? Wasn't that their teacher....? " she
thought to herself as she continued to listen.

He was starting to blush again just for listening to the
compliment she gave him, what is it about her that makes her so
very appealing to talk to and be within her presence? the world
may never know.
"I have experience, I was in the military so naturally the
leadership stuff wasnt too difficult" his muzzle was a bright
pinkish red, the feeling wasnt going to go away anytime soon.
"As for my well being...its hard..very hard....you can tell just
by looking at me, but what can ya do" he shrugged and smiled not
even trying to hide the fact he was visually covered up in alot
of bandages, those back to back battles he went through has
nearly costed him his life for the umpteeth time, its amazing
how he wasnt sent to a hospital yet.

Karahl nodded, "Well, it's become more apparent as of recent."
she replied before adding with a relatively dismissive wave of a
hand, "Well, relatively speaking, you're not in a coma, not
disabled, you can walk and talk just fine - injuries just come
with our occupation."
She then paused to think over her words, frowning slightly
before turning to walk up to the window and look out towards the
dead sea. Her tone then dropped back down to it's signature
respectfully-cold nature, "Ty, I didn't bring you here just for
pleasantries. You see, part of the reason you haven't seen me
for some months is that I have been on a series of missions -
dangerous missions - on my own but as of late I have come to
realize that it is more wise for me to branch out and seek help.
Not just any kind of help, but I need someone who is more than
capable to get the job done; and it's imperative that I asked
someone I trust. With everything that has been happening lately,
there are only three Mobians I can rely on - Sonic, your brother
and you."
She turned around to look at him, "So with my choice being
obvious here we are." the tiger then raised an index finger,
"And you're probably wondering, why did I choose you over the
others? Right now I cannot rely on Sonic because he is about to
embark what is probably the biggest race of his lifetime. That
and, well, these dangerous missions will be situations where we
have to make tough decisions - the kind of decisions that I am
not so sure that the 'Hero of Mobius' can handle and follow
through with. So that left with me to choose between you and
Blaze."
The ninja then walked on over and sat on top of a small crate
that was close to Ty, pretty close, "I have thought back and
compared your histories, what you've been through, how you
handle situations both in the past and recently and our time
when I have been training the both of you. You keep a level
head, you don't rush into things, your experience in the
military, you learn new things faster and while you and your
brother are fairly evenly matched in combat, Ty, to put it
bluntly, you are just plain better. At least, better suited for
what I am after. I cannot afford for a mission to fail due to
unnecessary risks and impulsive decisions."
She then paused for a moment before looking right at him with
her cyan-blue eyes, "Ty, what I am offering you is a
proposition. I want you to work with me not as a student
anymore, but as a partner. An honorary Snow-Claw."

He was speechless upon what was possibly an oppurtunaty of a
lifetime, his brain was struggling so hard to process this
information. Did...did she actually JUST graduated him to become
a full fledge Snow Claw ninja?
Idealy this would be an honor to many, however even a promotion
such as being a ninja can have pros and cons. Starting with the
pros Ty would have access to vast amounts of intel he couldnt
have gotten beforehand, secondly he could benefit the team with
the knowledge of said intel through infiltration and working
behind the scenes while Blaze would lead the group offensively.
Third he can easily make a large sum of money through various
contracts and wont have to worry about being low on financial
income, lastly he would always stand by Karahl's side and make
sure nothing harmful happens to her for Sonic's sake. Perhaps
maybe even change her for the better.
Unfortunatly the Snow Claw clan were known for thier....morally
questionable actions and this is where the cons come in. The
cons would have to do with the fact he may lose whatever small
traces of his humanity forever by resorting to cannibalism, his
body will no longer want to stomach decently cooked food and
other treats.
The second reason would be whether or not his new job occupotion
would compromise his position as the leader of the freedom
fighters, let alone shatter thier trust in him if a contract
requires to betray his own comrades.
Then again Karahl has alway fought by thier side for a few years
as a freedom fighter so there isnt anything that states you have
to leave your previous affliation in order to become a ninja, he
will just have to figure out how to balance a double life if he
chooses to accept. Decisions..Decisions...
"I...I dont what to say...I feel honored you would give me such
a promotion.." his blush went from pink to red realizing Karahl
is choosing to sit pretty close to him looking right in his
jaded scowl looking eyes.
"So what are you after and what is your mission?" he wanted to
know more, if it required the help of Ty to complete this job
then it must be very dangerous. He hasnt decided on an answer
yet but a decison will likely happen depedning on what is the
assignment.

Karahl smiled and that blush of his certainly didn't go
unnoticed, "I'm glad you do, but not to worry, we can worry
about the rituals to make it official later down the track -
when there isn't so much chaos going on everywhere. As for my
mission, I have several but I only know of them when the time
comes. I don't know everything I have to do just yet. Think of
it more as a need to know basis when it happens sort of thing.
You understand, right?"
The tiger then got up again and paced the room a couple of times
in silence, mulling over her thoughts, before suddenly speaking
up again, "Ty, when it came down to it, would you swear loyalty
to me and the Clan?"

"........" there was a pause, watching his instructor pace
around the room giving a brief explanation of how things work
regarding missions, which ultimately comes down to her brain
peircing question.
"Yes.." he firmly stated, a canine such as himself are famous
for thier loyalty and Ty was certainly no different.

Karahl nodded and proceeded with her next question, "Excluding
myself, if every one of our allies' lives were threatened and
you could only save one, who would it be?"
