It was a lovely day in Mobotropolis.
Well...
...As lovely as it could be anyway.
The sun was shining high above, it's rays broke through the
thin haze of purple that fouled up the air with a distinctly
artificial and alarmingly sweet taste that burned the back of
the throat and the nose of those unlucky enough to sift through
the chemical cloud. Mobians that trudged through the gloomy and
crumbled streets would let out a hoarse cough here and there as
they busily worked together to try and rebuild the city of
Silver Sonic's last attack. It would be a truly heartwarming
sight to see the people all pitching in to work together if it
weren't for the oppressive air that hung down in the form of
that damn cloud.

A vaguely familiar silhouette would step through the mist that
clogged the outskirts of the 'utopia' and into the light of the
city. The figure, a cat mobian with lilac fur and golden eyes,
would shake out her long, formal military officer's jacket in a
futile attempt to get the foul stench of the chemical plant out
of her clothes. She exhaled through her nose in exasperation, a
plume of steam escaping her cute little nostrils as she
continued to walk through the still damaged town while glancing
at the 'rif-raff' who busily continued their work. She'd meet a
few longing gazes from some of the men (and women) with a hard
stare before continuing on. "This is really where the Jeweled
Scepter left me for my new conquest? This place is already
crumbling. What sort of challenge would this even be? What sort
of worth would it hold for the empire? What a waste." She cursed
under her breath as her golden eyes darted back and forth
through smog to see if there were anything of note in this
strange new land.
"I suppose I could squeeze some fun out of this situation
though..." She licked her lips and let out a bit of a giggle,
the sweet acidic taste of the polluted air causing her tongue to
tingle. "After all, if someone managed to do this there's bound
to be plenty of interesting people here..." She smirked softly,
tail swaying back and forth in her erratic feelings of
excitement and frustration as she made her way to the heart of
the city...

A blue blur rushed throughout the city letting off frequent
sonic booms that utterly annihilated the sound barrier. The blue
streak rushed up and down the streets and the buildings it
passed seemed build themselves rapidly. After an entire city
block built itself from the ground up the blue streak came to a
screeching stop. It was a blue hedgehog looking back over his
work seeming rather pleased with himself. "I'll do another block
tomorrow." He told himself as the onlookers clapped and cheered
chanting his name. He had a smug smile as he basked in the
public's praise. "It's good to be the best." He said as his smug
smile launched into an arrogant grin. He soon was brought out of
his ego trip by a familiar face. He shook his head in disbelief
as he walked over to the empress casual as ever. "Well if it
isn't Blaze The Cat. Finally sick of throwing up hair balls as a
princess and come to where the real action is? I don't blame ya.
I have that effect on women."

Blaze's golden eyes narrowed in on the speedy stranger as he
called her name. Despite his attitude and clear lack of respect
it was exceedingly curious to her that he seemed to recognize
her. That should have been an impossibility, shouldn't it have?
Were her exploits (as grand and legendary as they were) really
able to transcend the barrier of space and time? Or, more
importantly, did another version of herself exist in this brave
new world? The questions that burned in her mind and it was
obvious that the Fire Lord was dissecting the radical hero with
her gaze alone.
She cleared her throat (despite the burning sensation still
persisting) as she decided to speak. A witch-like smirk replaced
her previously startled face as she walked towards the blue
hedgehog with a sway of her hips.
"Listen child~" Her voice came out like a silky venom as she
moved to rest her fingers under his jaw. "Tell me, how do you
know my name?" She purred in a curious but still rather
dangerous tone.

Sonic would have found her seductive swaying sexy had her smile
not creeped him out. The way she bared her fangs put him on
edge. However Sonic recomposed himself rather quickly seeing as
the cannibal known as Karahl made this seem like a walk in the
park. Puzzled he itched the hole atop his ear wondering what had
gotten into Blaze. She seemed playful so Sonic decided to play
along. "You forget me? I'm wounded dear Blaze. You never call
and you never write but I've still got a soft spot for you."
Sonic said tapping his foot before noticing something was off.
This Blaze seemed to emote much more than the one he knew.
"Blaze are you on some new meds or something? I don't think I've
ever seen you smile before."

While every instinct the Hellfire Goddess had told her to wrap
her fingers around his neck and hold him up so she may demand
answers. She stopped herself, she knew she was in an unknown
land and starting a fight with a stranger wouldn't help her in
the least, as satisfying as it may be to wring the pest's neck.
Besides, he had a so called soft spot. While whoever he was
thinking of would surely be thrilled at, that the Empress saw it
as a potential weakness to exploit. So instead, she trailed her
fingers up to graze his cheek lightly before pulling away,
turning before giving the younger mobian a playful swat in the
face with her bushy tail.
"Clearly you didn't give me a reason to remember you
Mr.Needlemouse, why don't you give me a refresher hm?." Though
it appeared she was merely playing around the cunning Empress
was actually probing for information, leverage, or anything
that could allow her to 'slip into' the 'life' she apparently
had.
Or 'has' even. She wouldn't be opposed to taking a duplicate
out. After all, if anything were to stop a Goddess it'd have to
be another one.

When her tail smacked him around a little Sonic raised an
eyebrow. WAS BLAZE FLIRTING!? This was the question that he
screamed inside his mind as the warlord from another realm lead
him on. Sonic held his chin trying to recall to the best of his
ability. "Well you came to the city looking for those Sol
Emeralds. You met my team Ty and the other Blaze yanno a wolf
has control over fire. Real stand up guy. Then you met my
girlfriend Karahl you know the giant cannibalistic tiger
assassin!? I mean she's kind of hard to forget." Sonic seemed to
be growing impatient with her act and he shook his head. "You
and I threw down against Ol Robuttnik and won remember? I know
you're from another world but I'm Sonic The Freaking Hedgehog.
Fastest Thing Alive,Greatest hero to ever live. Any of this
ringing a bell?" He asked knocking on her head as if it were
hallow.

That, suddenly peaked the woman's interest. There were more Sol
emeralds out there? She could hardly believe what she could do
with seven, let alone fathom the possibility of what she could
do with fourteen. As the impatient child had his temper tantrum
and even had the gall to lay a hand on her perfect head: Blaze's
eyes sparked with possibility. The devilish feline smirked
softly, ignoring his transgressions for a brief moment as she
clenched her fists. "You, this 'other other' Blaze, and your
beast of a girlfriend do not wring a bell. Hero!"

As she spat the last word she'd attempt to grab the speedy blue
hedgehog by the throat and suspend him in the air with her
cybernetic arm. Regardless if he dodged or not she'd lower into
an oppressive stance and continue. "All I care about is your
world's 'me' and her Sol emeralds. You better clue me in where
they are Needlemouse or you'll know why they call me the
Hellfire Goddess!" She hissed, the fur on the back of her neck
standing as her golden eyes narrowed to a pinpoint.

Sonic suddenly found it hard to breath as he found himself in
the felines cold iron fisted grasp. He kicked about trying to
get free as she revealed herself to be an imposter. He gave a
smug smirk in the face of being strangled to death. "Goddess?
Ha! And people say I've got a big ego." His blue eyes stared
deeply into her golden ones as lighting begun to surge through
them. "You picked the wrong hog to mess with sister." He chocked
out having a hard time breathing let alone speaking. Soon his
form begun to flicker and his image became a distorted blur. He
phased through her hand by vibrating the molecules in his body
at a higher frequency. He dropped to the ground as his image
became a solid state once more. He shook his head flipping her
the bird before taking off. He dashed off rushing around the
Empress rapidly circling her about 1000 times a second. A vortex
of wild lightning and wind started to kick up trapping the
feline where she stood.

Sudden a whistle could be heard as a slow clap could be heard
nearby. The figure in question clapping stood on to of a street
pole as he watched the hedgehog and cat have their chat. The
reason he wasn't heard was due to his trainning. The figure
leaped down from his post and crossed his arms lightly as he
looked at the cat in question.
" Hellfire goddess? Quite the title there princess...forgive me
if i don't sound impressed but i've dealt with a goddess before
and she was way tougher than you look. So how about it? You
gonna cool your jets or are we gonna throw down?" he asked the
supposed empress. Watching Sonic make his move kind of gave the
answer but oh well...

Blaze smirked softly at the current situation, from the shock
and awe of Sonic's fantastic fazing technique to the sudden
appearance of the hybrid. Her smirk turned into a wild grin as
she leaned back, the strikes of lightning narrowly missing her.
"Princess princess princess... You foolish peasants keep
referring to me as some sort of princess. I abolished the Sol
Kingdom long ago. Now there only exists my empire!" As she
spoke, she'd reach into her coat and clutch something in her
hand.
"By the way... Who's idea was it to douse this town in chemicals
anyway?"
With a sadistic giggle a green flash would flicker from the gem
she grasped in her cloak. Her form would suddenly disappear as
she activated her 'Flash Point' power leaving behind a burst of
smoke and flame. Flames that would ignite the chemical smog
where she once was and create rocking explosion where Sonic was
running!
Another loud 'Pow!' would shake the air shortly after as the Cat
appeared high above the two of them with another fiery
explosion. Using the momentum: Blaze would tuck into a nimble
roll midair and would shift position as she suddenly shot
towards the Hybrid with her Shikusen technique. "I'm sure I've
faced tougher stuff than you!" She snarled as she shot forward
with her dive kick, aiming to embed her high heel into the
'other' Blaze's chest.
