After his battle against Mallow and his narrow victory against
Shadow Scourge planned on using them to strike fear into the
rest of the city. All Television sets around the city would turn
to static before it faded giving way to a green blur on a shaky
camera. Scourge came into frame with his fingers holding the
sides of it. He seemed annoyed trying to figure the thing out.
"Is this thing on? Oh it's blinking." He said placing it level
so it had a view of the building he was above and the two beaten
bodies he had with him. "Hello Mobotropolis. I Scourge have just
beaten two individuals who claim to be this city's heroes. They
were weak and pathetic. I expected to find Sonic and what should
I find but whimpering cowards and disappointing fakers." He held
Shadow up to the camera by the scruff of his neck. "Behold this
so called Ultimate Lifeform. This man is no god. He cannot
protect you. Nobody can." He dropped the unconscious Shadow
before walking off camera as a feminine screaming could be
heard.
"Nononon Stay away!" The voice shrieked as Scourge pulled
Princess Sally into view holding her in place with a knife to
her throat. She was scared and shaking her hair a messed and her
cat-frame glasses just barely sitting on the tip of her nose.
"That's right Mobotropolis, I've got your beloved Princess. This
is my city now. Everything and everybody in it are now my
personal toys."
"You'll never get away with this Sonic will." Sally roared in
defiance only to have Scourge laugh in return.
"Please Princess Sonic didn't show when I was burning children
what makes you think he'd help you now. From this moment on none
of you are safe. Dr.Robotnik,Eggman and me are running the show
now. One thing left to say. Hail to the king!" He belted out
tossing Sally to the ground before tossing Mallow and Shadow off
the building. The broadcast was cut and the entire city was in
awe brought to it's knees in mere moments without Sonic to
protect it. Mallow and Shadow would awake in hospital sometime
later when the medics had found them by noticing the tower they
were dropped from in the broadcast.
