Reunion

Val left the forest and returned to this civilisation she wasn't
accustomed to yet but somehow she needed something different to
change her mind from the recent events. For once she wanted to
blend in and she fastened her hair and turned her cloack and old
dress into something more modern. A quick scan around herself
and she was now in a tartan skirt and a cropped top with a
leather jacket. "This should do the trick.." The magic trick was
enough and began exploring the safe zone of what was left of the
city.

After the whole chemical plant incident, Veira made herself
scarce from the group. She couldn't face them right now. Not
even Blaze and he was the reason she ran off in the first place.
She was more worried how the others would react to finding out
she caused the plant to explode. While she was grateful for
Sapphire's aid, she felt it necessary to clear her head for a
bit. As she walked through what was considered a safe zone to
the remain portion of the city, Veira happened to come acroos an
odd looking wolf. The only reason she found her odd because she
stood out from most due to her size.
"Val.....? What is she doing here by herself?" the huntress
wondered before heading over to her. " Hey Val...like the look.
" Veira replied as she put up a smile.

Valentine caught off-guard by the compliment had a suprised
look on her face and replaced her hair behind her ear with a
faint blush on her face. "Oh ...y-you think? I ..was trying to
blend in for once...and it seemed to be appropriate. " She said
avoiding direct eye contact and holding her righr arm with her
left one. "H-how are you?" She awkwardly asked to the friend she
was glad to see again.

" Oh I see...well it's good to see you trying to adjust to
things." Veira replied before looking around a bit. She noticed
Poe wasn't anywhere nearby which was odd given he was always
about or nearby. She looked up at her friend and noticed the
blush tilting her head a bit. " I'm fine but what about you? I
don't see Poe anywhere. " she replied with a bit of concern in
her voice.

"about that.. Sacha .. killed him. But Poe was a familiar
therefore he will live again" She tried to explain shyly before
realizing that it could sounds very confusing. "I am sorry i
left without an explanation i just couldn't .." She tried to
hide her sadness and worrying and at the same time was sincerly
happy to see her once more.

Viera's ears lowered a bit at the news. " So you managed to find
your guardian but he ended up killing Poe? Why would he do that?
I mean I think I understand about the famillar part...i'm just
confused on why Sacha would do that." she replied before smiling
at Val. " It's no big deal Val really. I'm just glad to see you
okay. A lot happened after we separated from each other." Veira
replied.

"Since the village destruction Sacha was lost and having no one
but me he got..very mad as we stayed away and Poe triggered his
rage..He shall never..lets just forget it.." She smiled still
blushing and for once her expression was different.
She had lightened up for once. "I have missed you and was
affraid you wouldn't want to see me again. But now i am glad to
know you're not mad." She still avoided to look into her eyes
then said :" time to learn to live on my own.." It sounded
weird to her and even chuckled nervously replacing her hair
behind her ears once more. "Sorry.." She said on a lower tone.

" Hmm I see...sorry I brought it up." Veira replied with a small
bow and a smile. Apparently something more happened between the
two wolves. Veira choose not to pry any further. She was glad
that Val was more talkative than before. This was a completely
different Val that was for sure. " Well you certainly are
heading in the right direction....and about before I wasn't mad
at anyone....just myself." Veira said as she rubbed her head
slightly ashamed of her actions.

"Truth is.. i never had a friend nor anyone close enough to
count as one.." She said with a confused expression and wagged
her tail unconsciously. "And it wasn't you but i feeled like i
had failed you and i did not know what to do but now i want to
learn..a little about friendship and maybe about your world "
she said smiling to her friend . The reddish hue betrayed her as
she was a little less shy but still blushing.

Veira was a bit surprised to hear Val talk about wanting to
learn about friendship and about the modern world itself. This
was a really big step for the witch, and seeing her deciding to
take part in learning showed she wanted to fit in. With a smile,
Veira grbbed Val's hand and looked up at her. " So what you want
to do first? We got food, games, clothing, you name it." Veira
replied as her tail swayed a bit.
