Seaside Shack
By: Scourge Date: July 4, 2016, 8:53 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The evening air held excitement as Scourge and Stella arrived at
a lavish restaurant. Upon arriving Scourge pushed the greeter to
the ground and held the door open for Stella. Stella walked in
seeming concerned about the poor gentleman while also being
touched at what a gentleman Scourge was being. Upon arriving at
their table the green hedgehog zipped around pulling out
Stella's seat. She placed her dainty fingers above her bust
turning a brilliant shade of pink as she sat. Scourge snapped
his fingers as the waiter arrived. The two ordered and while
they waited conversation begun. To Scourge's surprise Stella was
fascinated by him. As the night went on conversation was filled
by compliments from both parties as they started to get along
swimmingly. The walls were decorated with mounted fish menus and
candles holders fixed to the wall. As the moon light hits the
sea nearby it gently shines through the window illuminating
their dinner. The two share a smile then tuck into their meal.
Upon placing down their forks Scourge placed his jacket around
Stella's shoulders guiding her out the door. "That lovely fur of
yours must be warm but seeing as it's styled into a dress
without sleeves I figured you must be cold. It's freezing out
tonight." Looking out over the moonlit ocean Scourge turned and
asked. "The night is young. Where to next? Or you happy on the
beach right here?"

The sheep chuckled softly, "Well, why don't you find out just
how warm it is? Hm?" Stella replied in a soft, shy tone as she
stood close beside him. She then looked over to the view where
the moon's light danced about it's surface.
"Actually, I have actually never been to a beach before. It is
quite lovely."

"Well if that's an invitation." Scourge said shuffling closer
offering her his arm. He headed down onto the sand kicking off
his biker boots. "If you've never done the beach before you
gotta feel the stand between your toes...or hoofs so to speak.
It's a big ol ocean out there and I'd love nothing more than to
see Sonic drown in it. Speaking of that blue loser I ever tell
you I was the one who stuck him in the void. To this day the
world is Sonic free because he just couldn't keep up with the
best."

When they reached the sand, the sheep was feeling a little
uncertain - as well as silly! It was just sand!
Still... it was a new experience for her. Stella then finally
stepped onto the squishy sand, even gasping lightly at the
unique sensation when one would feel between their toes. Since
Stella didn't have a need to wear shoes over her hooved feet,
she didn't need to worry about taking any off.
"Yes, well I have seen pictures and read quite a lot about the
ocean. My uncle is a Marine Biologist so it was always
fascinating to read up on his research. Rather ironic that I
haven't experienced the real deal myself, wouldn't you say?" she
began before listening to Scourge further. Stella frowned again
slight, "Scourge, if you don't mind me asking; why do you hate
him so much?"
Though she didn't say it, she couldn't help but wonder why he
was so adamant on insisting that he was better than Sonic. Was
he trying to impress her? Or was he threatened by him?

Scourge seemed surprised. "You've never spent any time with your
Unc who works by the sea? Strange your parents mustn't have
trusted him with kids. I think I once shared a cell with a sheep
who said something about the sea. That's beside the point what
I'm interested in is you. So you're a paramedic? You soar down
form on high to help those in need. You're just like a little
guardian angel. Only you've pink wool which is much cuter than
wings believe me." He said with a wink stepping a little closer.
Upon her question about Sonic the green gangster got a little
defensive. "Why? Because he's a fraud! Until I turned green all
everybody called me was Evil Sonic! Are you kidding me? Sonic
was my name why is it all of a sudden I'm branded as the side
note one. Everybody loves Sonic he's a hero. Even in prison see
Scourge you should be like like that you've got the speed for
it. Bleh makes me sick. He's nothing but a big arrogant jerk in
it for nothing but the glory. I should know that's the same
reason I commit crimes. Some hero he is his dame kills people
and has he locked her up NO!" Calming himself down he guided
Stella over to the water. "Besides whats so great about Sonic?
I'm stronger,I'm smarter, I'm better looking and I've got..."
Scourge whispered the last part into Stella's ear taking a tiny
bite at her neck. Before long the elegant mobien found herself
in Scourge's arms with her long pink curls gently dipping into
the seawater as the waves crashed in. The water was warm as it
had been a sunny day. As the water washed over her hair and
hooves it would feel refreshingly romantic.

Stella shrugged, "Actually, I haven't really visited my uncle in
person before. He lives on the other side of the planet but we
communicate more via emails and video. I always found it
interesting how similar the biology is between animals and
Mobians; though not quite as 'sophisticated' as we are. He's a
really happy fellow, always excited and passionate about his
next sea adventure and discoveries. Not sure about the sheep you
were talking about, perhaps he knew my uncle?"
she then couldn't help but giggle at the compliment.
Though, she did tilt her head thoughtfully as she listened to
Scourge's reasoning. The ewe really felt some sympathy for the
hedgehog and in turn placed a hand on his shoulder, "Oh that's
simply awful. I did notice some of that hostility and prejudice
back at the hospital but still, regardless of your reputation it
isn't right at all for others to call you something that you are
not. You are not Sonic and therefore Mobians shouldn't call you
any variation of him simply because of some similarities you
have in terms of appearance and abilities." Stella said softly,
before adding, "Well, I hope you don't feel the need to commit
crimes just so you can have some obvious difference that even
simpletons couldn't mistake you for Sonic. I am certain that
there are many other traits, skills or even hobbies in which you
can excel at that Sonic cannot! If it helps, I can plainly see
how different you are from him without you needing to push
anyone over or brag about the crimes you have committed."
The sheep offered him a gentle smile and before she knew it, the
back of her head was being dipped into the water by the green
hedgehog. The nip at her neck certainly caught her off guard, to
which she was a loss for words and her cheeks burned a brilliant
shade of red to compliment her giggling.

Stella's words touched Scourge and even made sense to him, not
that he'd openly admit that. He simply smiled and replied. "Well
babe you've got two things right. They are all idiots and I'm
better than one thing than Sonic and That's being bad." He said
tipping her deeper. Soon he pressed his lips to hers kissing her
under the stars as the pale moonlight was reflected upon the
water. Something about Stella drove Scourge crazy. Perhaps it
was her compassion, her intelligence her lovely locks or the way
she put out a cute Baa between giggles. He ran his fingers
through her woolly curls before gently placing his hand behind
her head for support. Feeling naughty he moved his free hand
from her waist towards her backside.

Stella feigned a smile at his comment, "Well, I am sure that if
everyone just took a breath and stepped back we could reach a
mutual agreement to not bother one another. Their first step is
to start seeing you for who you are and not similar to someone
else." she replied gently. Before she knew it, she found herself
locking lips with the green speedster. At first her eyes were
wide with surprise, being caught off guard - after all, she only
just met the guy some hours ago. Still, after a moment or two,
she closed her eyes and returned the kiss passionately; as well
as placing a hand behind his back and the other subtly moving
that wandering hand back to her waist.

After the romantic exchange Scourge spins Stella back to her
feet zipping around her. He stopped beside her placing his hands
around her waist. "Mmhrm. Who says sheep are followers? I felt
you taking charge there for a little bit. You know the best
thing above tonight while were out here having the time of our
lives those losers back at the hospital are still strapped to
that bed. The suffering of others was almost as sweet as that
Kiss." He looked up up and down then looked out over the sea.
"Maybe we could make this a regular thing? You're having a slow
night you give me a call and we can speed it up."

The sheep couldn't help but giggle, "Careful now Speedy, you're
going to make me feel dizzy from rushing around so much~" she
commented with a small smile.
Stella blushed a little about his comment, "Thank you Scourge,
that means a lot. It always frustrated me whenever some
individuals actually believe that Sheep Mobians cannot think for
themselves. I mean, granted, everyone in my family is involved
with medicine or science in one way or another, but we
definitely don't share some crazy hive mind!" The ewe bit her
lower lip as she thought of the other two, "Mm, well I suppose
forced bed rest isn't entirely a horrible thing... so I wouldn't
exactly call it the 'suffering of others'."
The Paramedic looked at the hedgehog in silence for a moment.
His remarks every now and then made her feel concerned for him;
believing that whatever has happened to him in the past, has
made him so angry at the world. She was hopeful to believe that
she wasn't categorized among those things, and she was even more
hopeful that she may be able to help him see that he didn't need
to prove himself or be angry at everything. That, and there was
some rustic charm to him that she couldn't help but feel
fascinated by.
"A regular thing?" she echoed, pausing again to think about it
before smiling at him and even made a bold move of holding onto
his hand, "Sure, I'd like that."
