Kate frowned after Ty asked his question. "Yeah...sort of. I met
with someone who had a twin brother with an even worse
condition, but he was only ever able to get his brother
medication as temporary solutions rather than a permanent one."
She then winced as Ty summoned an ice block around her broken
leg, shivering slightly from the coldness. "Then I thought about
how the nurse said there was no known cure, but I wanted to
prove her wrong so I went climbing anyway and, well...you know
how that ended up," she finished, making a pointed look down at
       her broken, very sore leg.

By: Stella Date: July 1, 2016, 3:33 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
"My name is Stella, I'm a Paramedic." the sheep repeated,
answering Kate's question. She then went quiet whilst she
observed Kate, not wanting to seem like she was eavesdropping on
their conversation since the word 'condition' had piked Stella's
       interest.
Finally the woolly Mobian spoke up, "Fractured ribs? That can be
life threatening if left untreated..." she then cast Ty a brief,
disapproving scowl, "Well, why haven't you moved? Go on then,
give this lady some privacy for a moment while I assess her."
It was then the two feet tall sheep actually motioned for Ty to
get off the bed and shooed him s few feet away, leaving just
enough space between the Hedgewolf and young women so that
Stella could draw a dilapidated curtain around the bed in this
hospital wing. He could still hear them talk though.
The sheep continued to observe Kate, taking note of her
breathing and movements; particularly on what she found was
restricting. With permission of course, the Paramedic also
checked for any severe bruising or protrusions - without the
least bit being invasive. The sheep once again took off her
spectacles and waited for her eyes to turn green to XRay the
hedgehog again. When she was done she put her magenta spectacles
       back on.
"From what I can see, you do have a couple of fractures, but
you'll be happy to know that they are non-displaced and are only
very minor. You don't appear to have breathing problems or show
obvious restricted movement - so internal bleeding, puncture to
the lungs, cervical spine trauma, Maxillofacial or injuries
relating to the Brachial Plexus or any major vessels is
unlikely. You also do not have Visceral Injury to your kidneys
or spleen, so that's another relief. At first I was concerned
that you may have had a Pneumothorax, which is a common sequela
of blunt trauma. Fracture fragments that lacerate the Lung
Parenchyma can cause bleeding into the pleural cavity and result
in a Pneumothorax. But as I said earlier, this has thankfully
been disproven." she explained, pausing to think for a moment
before adding, "Treatment for your rib fractures is fairly
simple, you will need to take regular pain control, rapid
mobilization abd meticulous respiratory care should be adequate
enough to prevent respiratory complications. An adequate oral
analgesic or an intercostal nerve block plus an oral analgesic
should provide reasonable pain relief. Epidural analgesia is
becoming the standard of care for pain management in patients
with multiple rib fractures. Though you should see a trusted GP
for the correct brand and dosage before starting your
       treatment."
Stella then drew back the curtain, gesturing for Ty to lie down
       again; if he wanted to.

A wild flurry of green rushed in at blinding speeds. When the
blur cleared Ty was restrained in an worn straight jacket
Scourge found laying around the asylum. Both Kate and Ty were
tied to the beds by leather restraints hanging off the sides.
These were the thick leather belts used to keep violent on
unpredictable patients under control. Scourge stood above them
gnashing his sharp teeth into a wicked smile. "I heard you
managed to get the drop on one of my speed clones. I use em when
I'm feeling ambitious. You can got a lot more crime done with
six speedsters in place of one. After they fade away their
memories come back to me." Scourge picked up a rusted bone saw
he saw laying beside the bed. "I think it's time I pay you back
don't you?" The green speed demon asked playing the blade
against Ty's neck. "No no what am I thinking ladies first." He
placed the blade against Kate's stomach however he caught the
image of a pink sheep in the reflection of the dull saw blade.
He quickly tossed the surgical instrument over his shoulder
rushing up to her. He placed his hands upon his hands in his
pockets taking a relaxed stance speaking in his raspy voice as
he attempted to impress Stella. "Hey there baby. Names Scourge!
You know Fastest Thing Alive, baddest villain around conqueror
of worlds. I like that cute little number you're wearing. What
do ya say we ditch these losers and get to know each other over
lunch?" Scourge had leaned in closer giving a confident
       expression along with a wink.

Ty obeyed and did as he was told while she goes to operate her
ribs, yeesh..she could have just asked nicely no need to give
him a death glare. Suddently he found himself tied up next to
Kate and a blade pressed against his neck being forced to hear
the voice of a punk ass Sonic going through a teenage rebellous
       phase.
Scrouge was back and he is here to cause trouble! "Attacking us
while we are down little mouse? thats low even for you.." he
       sneered.

While Stella'a observation, while impressive, completely went
way over Kate'a head with all the medical mumbl-jumbo. But
still, she was very grateful for all the help she was
getting--for free, even. "Erm, thank you so much. I
       appreciate--"
Suddenly, she found herself thrusted tightly backwards,
restrained by straps as the vile puke-colored hedgehog
reappeared in a blur and briefly pressed a sharp knife blade up
against her neck. She scowled at the creep, not allowing herself
to be intimidated by someone with no self-respect or respect for
others. "What do you really want, you jerkwad?"

Stella jumped and let out a startled bleat when a green blur had
suddenly rushed into the room. Everything had happened so
quickly and she couldn't help but feel rather fixated on this
green hedgehog; even momentarily forgetting about the other two
in the room. The sheep raised a hoofed hand over her mouth,
partly covering a small smile that had stretched across her
       lips.
"H-hello Scourge, my name is Stella." she finally replied
sheepishly, her orange eyes briefly dropped down to the scar on
his chest. The Paramedic couldn't help but already think up of
numerous scenarios of what, how and when that could have caused
that - she brought her eyes back up to his, getting back onto
the topic at hand, "W-well I am rather famished. Erm. What did
       you have in mind?"

Scourge placed an arm around Stella giving a great grin. "Then
it's settled. I know this great little place by the sea. They
cook a mean lobster and the best part it meals always on the
house because I threatened to burn down their home." He looked
back to the two tied to the bed bearing his sharp fangs. "We'd
ask you two to tag along for a double date but they don't let
losers into the restaurant sadly. Enjoy your evening in bed." He
remark guiding Stella away with an arm over her shoulder.
"Stella huh? That name's almost as pretty as your dress. Soft
       to, you make it yourself."

that green hedgehog irriated him to no end, like hell he was
going to away scoot free with Stella and do something terrible
to her! He appreciates the sweet and innocent paramedic for
everything she is done for him, however she has no idea of the
dangers will unfold if you try to date a super villian. Ice was
coated over both Kate and Ty's leather jacket/belts completely
overiding the texture replacing it with thick frozen water.
Shattering thier restraints was a relatively simple task for the
       hybrid.

"Leave her alone Scourge, Im going to put you behind bars where
you belong.." he marched towards the pair but stops short in
front of them challenging the menace to another duel.

Scourge belted his head around so fast you'd wear it had
snapped. He pulled down the frames of his sunglasses giving a
deadly glare. "While it's true Sonic has amassed some powerful
friends he hasn't shown any of you the true terror capable by
super speed." Scourge's hand vibrated quickly into a blur as he
shoved it into Ty's chest. Ty would feel no pain nor was he
harmed. Soon Ty would feel a light strain on his heart as it
beats just a little bit slower. "I'd have no problem killing you
right here but that would ruin the ladies appetite. You can feel
it can't you? The light grip around your heart. No pain no harm
but you feel it don't you? Just a little but harder to pump the
blood into your veins. That's my hand gripping your heart. If I
were to stop moving my hand and turn solid once again that would
be the end of you. I could crush your heart in my hand or rip it
from your chest. If you were smart you'd return to Sonic tell
him you're going to quit the Freedom Fighter and prey you never
cross my path again. But you're much too stupid for that. I'll
admit I'm impressed not too many people could stop my speed
clones but dealing with the real deal is a whole over level.
Remember this if you come up with any plan or reaction I can
ALWAYS make the first move." Scourge pulled his hand from Ty's
chest leaving him unharmed. Once his hand was solid again he
pushed him back and swept Stella off her feet. "You can try to
follow but it'll take you hours maybe even days to catch up."
With that he looked into Stella's eyes carefully placing her
glasses back upon her nose. "You ready to go?"

"Seafood sounds great." Stella nervously lied, she could tell
that Ty and Kate were not in good terms with Scourge so she
wanted to leave quickly before anything drastic -
The sheep then found herself stunned, for she had never seen
anyone shove a hand right through someone else's body without
cutting right through them first. As Scourge spoke she had
lowered her spectacles and her eyes had turned green; watching
everything that was happening. Upon this realization, the sheep
frowned and harmless sparks of electricity even zapped about her
wool; causing for them to fluff up more.
Stella then marched forward and placed a firm hand on Scourge's
shoulder, "Alright Scourge, that is quite enough-" she began but
before she knew it she was swept off her feet with the hedgehog
ready to go. She blinked a few times before poking his chest
with a hoofed finger, "Yes let's go. But I'll have you know that
if that little stunt of yours has been the cause of any heart
attacks, Coronary Artey Spasms, Demand Ischemia or Cardiac
Arrests for my patient I will personally hold you responsible!
Do you understand?" she finalized with a firm, matter-of-factly
tone. Whist she was serious and frowning, the two foot tall
       sheep wasn't anywhere near intimidating.
