Medical Abandonment

Returing to the once proudly stood city of Mobotropolis having
been reduced to an apocalyptic wasteland, not a single civilian
in sight so far, everyone should have been evacuated by now or
so he has heard according to Veira. A mix of an orange and light
blue frosted speed trail breezing through the townwith debris,
glass, and dead corpses for those who didnt make it werent
enough to stop the pair on thier quest for a hospital.
Eventually they discovered a medical building abit badly damaged
in most areas most notably the sign looks like its getting ready
to fall down at any moment.
"Wow..looks like Eggman doesnt like hospitals even though he is
a doctor, how ironic." he quips on the status of the building.
"Lets hope everyone is safe." he didnt even have to open a door
because well...this IS no door.

Kate's eyes widened as Ty stepped into the abandoned building,
seeing all the papers scattered everywhere all over knocked over
desks, chairs, medical beds, and the like among the dust and ash
of the rest of the stuff that was clearly burnt down. There was
no dead body on sight so far, but then again who knows about the
hospital rooms where the patients could not leave fast enough...
She shuddered before she turned to look at Ty in the eye to
distract herself from her horrifying thoughts. "W-What happened
within the time I was gone and now...??"

like Kate he was a little started by what happened here,
everything is a mess! did a tornado struck this place or
something!?
"Long story short, Eggman destroyed the city twice, kidnapped my
brother and now has most of the chaos emeralds. four to be
exact..luckly I managed to save Blaze before he could do
something worse to him." he briefly explain the situation. He
walks around the partailly destroyed hallway looking for at
least ONE intact room to sit her down.
Luckly there was an empty hospital bed still pefectly fine, he
rests Kate down and check to see if there is any injuries he
should be worrying about.
"Where are you hurting exactly?" he asked.

Kate winced a bit as he sat her down as gently as he could, but
her ribs and leg were still hurting like the devil...
"Well...eh...my ribs are killing me and well...I'm pretty sure
my leg is broken," she replied as-a-matter-of-factly, peering
down at her currently useless leg.

"Oooh..that bad?..ill going to find you a cast..ill be right
back." He leaves her alone for the moment. truthfully he has
never been to a hospital himself for his injuries nor has he
suffered from a broken leg, he wouldnt even know where to began
his search. He checks a random office for any signs of a cast,
opening cabnits, checking the drawers, etc.
He found a cast..however its sorta tattered and dirty from the
mess........oh well its better than nothing.
He returns back to the room, "Alright..here we go.." he
carefully slip off her sock and shoe, placing the slab around
her leg and wrap it up tightly.

Kate smiled gratefully as Ty slipped the dirty worn cast onto
her leg, still happy and appeciating that he even came for her
in the first place. While it is true they have not really hung
out much after the Jungle Zone incident, she would still
consider Ty a friend or at least an acquaintance, if that makes
him feel better. Honestly, though. She realizes that she is in
desperate need for friends anyway, so she might as well treat Ty
as such and show how much his presence means to her right now.
"Um...thank you for coming, Ty."
...And that's all she could muster before sounding too...weird
about it, she supposed.
She turned away, feeling a bit awkward and shy about her
feelings since she isn't used to expressing them very well due
to her upbringing, or lack thereof.

He continues to work on her cast making sure its sealed tight,
"Dont mention it" he didnt glance up at her as he replied. He
was finished with her leg and decided to stand idly next to her
bed crossing his arms staring directly out the room, essentially
serving as a lookout for any potiental danger out there,
reminiscent of a guard on duty.
He was starting to show signs of exhuastion by the way he was
breathing through his nose but nonetheless kept up his hardened
posture, he has to remain strong and vigilant for her sake.

Kate noticed how exhausted he looked. "Ty...you don't have to do
that. You need to rest, too. Come to bed." She tried scooting
over instead of suggesting for him to get another bed because
there was plenty of room and she didn't want him to exert even
more energy on that.

His sharp eyes blinked, "but..what if someone tries to come in
here and hurt us?" he half expected her to insist on getting
some rest which sounds very tempting at this very moment. All of
this constant fighting to preserve peace gave him little to no
chance to sleep properly.

Kate tried to act casual as she patted the new open spot on the
bed and forced a casual smile. True, a small (if not large) part
of herself actually thought it might be awkward, but a large
part of herself also knows that he is hurt and needs to rest as
well. She playfully rolled her eyes. "Honestly, Ty, it's no
sweat. Come on..."
