As Eggman laughed himself silly finding out his true name Sonic
gave Sapphire an evil glare. "He's never going to let me live
this down. Sapphire you better hope Eggman wins this. Cause if
we get out of this alive I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!" He shouted in
annoyance as he greatly exaggerated her punishment. Seeing as
Sapphire still hadn't taken his hand he grabbed her wrist
looking at the incoming attack. "No time to wait." The beam was
massive in size and scope eclipsing the entire platform. Zooming
off just before impact he grabbed Veria running off just before
the blast impacted. Behind them the steel floor was blown to
pieces. Sonic zipped across the surface of the water and up a
support beam dropping the girls safely atop the pipes above all
in the blink of an eye. Sonic hopped on the spot biting his
lower lip as he felt the effects of the chemicals burning more
and more of his sneakers away. The heroes were now far above the
sea of chemicals below with Sonic looking down at the Viper.
After cooling off his feet wearing the partly melted away
sneaker Sonic looked over the edge. "How you gunna get us all
the way up here you big nerd!? Unless that thing can fly you're
s,hit outta luck." Deciding to take this moment to gloat Sonic
flipped the scientist the middle finger before he begun
impersonating Eggman. "Oh look at me I'm an eggshaped loser with
terrible taste in facial hair. I can't even kill a single
hedgehog when he's been through emotional trauma." With a smug
smirk he pointed down declaring. "Once I find Karahl and get the
old team back together were coming for you. I may be above
murder but I assure you with a team full of mercenaries,Ex gun
soldiers and assassins my team mates aren't so opposed to the
idea of tearing you in two. You hear that! I've got a way to get
rid of you and my image stays sparkling clean. We won't have
anymore repeated attacks like we did with Robotnik."

Sapphire was just regaining her proper vision and breathing
right after hitting Sonic when his voice started to fill her
ears and head. She gulped and her fur stood on end as she was
still recovering from the effects of hitting one of her parents
as Sonic spoke.
'You're no daughter of mine' He said, 'Your father is some jerk
who let his little girl come to the past and never bothered to
come look for her' He'd continue. The smaller blue hedgehog
would make a hiccup of a sound at that part, putting a finger
under her nose as it went hot and tears threatened her eyes with
the mist of tears. The next part was sweet in Sonic's own unique
way but it didn't overpower what he had said beforehand. Nor
what he said after. She didn't look at him when gave his cocky
grin, although it was usually something that brought her a
smile. His fun attitude was just one of many reasons why she was
proud to call him Dad at all. She couldn't now though.
The next part she'd of explained that the future was written,
but it was always being rewritten, at least, that's how her time
worked. She and everyone from her time would never know the
difference, up until now at least. Since those who went back
from her time would remember and know the changes. Sonic didn't
seem to believe much when it came to her though so where was the
point in trying to explain it to him.
She looked away when he offered her a hand only for him to then
grab her wrist, and pull her along after glaring at her and
threatening her for telling his real name, "Maybe if you hadn't
been so stubborn.. BRO I wouldn't of said it" She spat, trying
to pull her arm away from him. He claimed she wasn't his
daughter yet still scolded her like one. When he dropped her and
Veira she'd almost be smacking her chin again but would put out
her hands before she'd hit the ground this time. Pushing herself
back up and dusting herself off.
There where many things she wanted to say to him, but she didn't
believe that he'd even hear her out. So she'd look for a way out
from where they currently where positioned.
'I still need you' ...
Sapphire looked at Sonic as he gloated away to Eggman. Her ears
lowered, any smile she'd managed was gone, she'd click her
fingers to have her hammer disappear before hugging her arms and
sighing softly.
No matter the time she was in, Sonic was never her Dad. He was
either never there, or never wanted to be. She'd turn her back,
her eyes to the ground as some tears fell upon it, she'd kick
them away and rub her face with her fingerless gloves hands. She
wouldn't do this here if she knew how to get out from where they
where. 'Your father is some jerk' "You're right, Dad is a jerk-"
'who let his little girl come to the past' "And he couldn't stop
me from coming back to the past-" 'and never bothered to come
look for her' Sapphire stared at the floor and her lower lip
trembled before she'd softly say "and he never came to look for
me... Because he's never coming back.".

Hearing something from Sapphire he looked over his shoulder with
a puzzled expression. "You say something Kid? Well whatever it's
not like it matters. You're not really here anyway. Eggman
should be stuck down there for a while. So now we have a
moment." Sonic took a deep breath his eyes staring at Sapphire
as if he was looking through her. "Leave me the hell alone. I've
never had hallucinations before let alone ones I start talking
to. I watched you die. We don't live in some magical world where
a kiss can bring people back to life like in the fairy tales.
Once you're dead that's it. I've lost too many friends and it
must be starting to affect me mentally. I've tried humoring you,
I've tried telling you the truth and you still won't disappear.
From here on out I'm going to ignore you. You're not real. My
mind is just playing tricks on me." He said lightly banging his
head into a wall. "Now both of you leave me alone. I have a job
to do and you'll only slow me down." That said Sonic jumped off
the ledge seeming to vanish entirely.

When the obot began to fall apart, Veira smirked for a bit. They
were winning. But she soon hesitated after watching the attack
from before be unleashed on the group. She froze for a moment in
hesitation before being pulled out of harm's way. When
everything came back to focus, the girls and Sonic ended up
somewhere high up from the chemicals. She looked around a bit
before seeing Sonic gloat to Eggman. This boy....bothered her.
What do people see in him? He is no hero.....just some punk kid
doing this for kicks.
When he said those things to Sapphire, every word caused her to
ball up her fists more and more. " I was dead at one
point......what am I then if i'm standing right here? " she
asked as her fur when from purple to pure black. She hadn't
moved from her spot as she too was bothered by the so called
hero's words. " You have lost it.....you see only what you want
to believe.....I'm through with this." she said as she stood up
with lightning in her hands. Her eyes were pure red as she aimed
her hands at the chemicals. Eggman was still down there right?
Her mind was warped to the point where she lost reasoning.
She looked at Sapphire for a bit before turning back to the
battle. " I'm sorry Sapphire. Your father is nothing more but a
pretender trying to act tough. The world doesn't need people
like him here. If he wants to treat things like a game then he
needs to learn the hard way what suffering really means." she
replied with a hint of regret in her voice. Aiming her bolt of
lightning at the chemicals, she fired a huge charge shot into
the purple water.
She remembered what happened the last time lightning hit the
chemicals, so she was assuming the same thing will happen this
time.

When Sonic said what she said didn't matter and for her to leave
him alone she hugged her arm and looked aside, tearing up more.
She couldn't stop more tears from rolling down her soft cheeks
once he said he was going to ignore her and that she wasn't
real. Sapphire just slowly nodded when her and Veira where told
to leave him alone again, like a scolded kid would their parent
when they where told not to talk back.
She blinked and when she'd looked back, Sonic was gone, she
hurried over to the edge, figuring he'd jumped off, she held out
a hand and grabbed at the air as Sonic vanished. Gone again.
Sapphire looked back as Veira apologised to her, when Veira
aimed the bolt of lightning, Sapphire raised her hands and shook
them along with her head "Veira no! Sonic's down there! You'll
make the whole place-" Too late, Sapphire scrambled back to her
feet as the Lightning headed for the chemicals, she looked at
Veira before trying to grab onto her friend and look for a way
out "Hold on tight okay I'll get us out of here!"

Sonic was running across the water until the electricity flying
past tripped Sonic up sending him sinking into the drink. The
chemicals burned Sonic's skin before he was electrified by the
bolt of lightning hitting the sea of chemicals. The golden glow
of the power ring faded as hedgehog screamed. The voltage burned
his insides as the chemicals did the same outside. Before long
the shock stopped giving Sonic time to pull himself out of the
chemicals. Breathing heavily he opened his eyes to see his
wounds were healed and the power ring had vanished. Looking up
overhead he watched as the lightning mixed with the chemicals
had caused a chain of explosions. His eye twitched annoyed as he
looked up at Vira. "Oh you stupid Bitc....." Was all he manged
to get out before his voice was drowned out by the nonstop
explosions.

The chemicals exploded violently once hit with the lightning,
sending burning chemicals every way. Chemical tanks all around
the area they were in began to explode violently, sending
shrapnel every which way, only for the Chemical sea to explode
even more violently. More and more explosions were seen sending
chemicals every which way before something shot out of it. The
eggviper's remains rose to the surface. Eggman laid in the
cockpit, which was shattered. He had drowned it seemed.
That was until his head popped off with a spring. Eggman's
cackling would be heard as the Robo Eggman's eyes began to flash
red quickly
If anyone was vigilant enough they'd probubly notice the Death
Egg Turning slowly. Each spike on the mustache began to glow a
bright green before all six beams shot at the Nose of the Death
egg, Gathering there before firing a green beam towards the
planet. THEY NEEDED TO LEAVE NOW!
(Death Egg has begun ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT of Chemical Plant Zone)

When the lightning hit and Sonic was drowned out, Sapphire would
flicker slightly, somewhat like a glitch, clutching at her heart
in pain and gasping, her eyes widening, she'd be letting go of
Veira briefly to take on the hit of this, her blue and colours
started to also fade briefly, much like they had when they all
thought she'd died the first time.
She'd soon be back up and would scoop Veira up, holding onto her
tightly she'd rev up her legs and feet before shooting off
towards the nearest exit, they needed to get out of here.
Sapphire knew that if Sonic wanted them to go away so badly, he
could get out himself.
He was too stubborn to die to something like this anyway and
c'mon.. Fastest thing alive! Of course he'd be okay... She hoped
anyway.
Sapphire would become a blur of speeding blue as she shot out
with Veira, escaping the exploding chemical plant.

After Veira fired the shot of lightning and watched as it struck
the chemicals. When it happened however, Veira personality had
shifted completely. Her fur returned to it's red color as her
eyes shifted back to blue. She looked around dazed and confused
as to why the place was exploding. She turned to Sapphire who
looked like she was in pain when she suddenly twitched in an odd
way. Before she could question it. The young hedgehog lifted her
up and began running out of the chemical plant.
She didn't know what was going on but something inside her was
telling her it was her fault. She simply held on as she lowered
her head not saying a word.
