Not a Good Start. (Mad's Return)

[B]POP.[/B] A quiet part of the forest, a distance out from
Knothole or any other parts of the forest that the arriving
party expected anyone to be at. Small animals in the area would
scatter at the unnatural flash that had suddenly occurred, one
animal taking it upon themselves to investigate, was quickly
speared by a dark brown machete.
[I]"Pffff... Idiotic fox. Mental note, find current time Tails
and tell him to make his time bubbles so the process doesn't
spin."[/I] Yep, that was her alright, Fem was back from Sapphire
and Robin's time, but something was different... One eye already
the purple of her Darkscale form. Turning her attention to the
wounded animal, she'd pull her machete out of the creature, her
rifle would quickly form and she'd spin around and fire it. The
shot would just whizz through the leaves, way too high to hit
any small animals, She'd watch it for a few seconds before
turning her back on it. [I]"Yeah, stay gone you little blue
s**t."[/I] she'd mutter to herself again, beginning to walk.
[I]"It's a disgrace to the bloodline, having you as the male
form of my mother..."[/I] Her second eye was turning to purple
as she muttered away. Instinct suddenly kicked in for her, her
eyes returning to proper light blue, before rushing herself up a
tree and pulling out her rifle, scanning the horizon through the
scope. Everything seemed clear for the Hedge-
[I]"AAAAAAAAGH!"[/I] Fem would let out a very loud scream of
pain and surprise as a red, corned blade was thrust straight
through her. Looking down, she knew the blade all too well and
the Panther behind it.
[glow=grey,2,300][I]"Welcome home, My Minion..."[/I][/glow]
[I][sub]"Luna..."[/sub][/I] She could hardly speak, as she fell
out of the tree, hitting the ground with a THUMP. Trust a being
powered by dark energy to be first on the scene of the
reappearance of somebody else with a large source of dark power.
As for Fem, despite her injury, she was still alive, her
Darkscale side had no intention to lose its host body, but she
was starting to lose the energy, the dark Panther still in the
tree, beginning to absorb Fem's Darkscale ability.
[I]"Robin! Sis! Ce! Anyone! I'm in trouble!"[/I] For anyone
nearby, it was now a race against time, the Black Panther was
leaving herself wide open in the tree with her absorption
process, but would anyone pick up the psychic distress call from
the hedgefox?
[I](While this thread is planned for Fem and Robin, anyone
wanting something different to Fiz (Eggman) 's current thing, or
just wants to join in, is welcome to.)[/I]

A bright green plasma shot the size of a small canon ball would
shot right at Luna's chest, the size of the shot suggested it'd
been a charged shot for more impact and the bright green
suggested it came from- "Back off Kitty cat!" He'd shout, baring
his teeth as he took another less charged shot at her, running
over to where Fem lay on the ground, if he was successfull in
hitting Luna or not, he'd crouch down by Fem, placing a hand
over one of her's "Veronica, shield" "[Deploying Shield]" A
bright green bubble of a force field would appear around the
pair (well trio including Vero) allowing Robin more time to Fem.
Robin would get on all fours over the top on her, looking a bit
panicked at her wounds and current state, he'd brush a hand
against her cheek in a stroke, "Fem? My Beautiful Madeliene
please.. Please wake up! I'm here, I'm here! Robin's here I
won't leave you ever again!" He'd say, cooing at first before
the panic picked up too much to coo. He'd then gently bump his
head against her's, letting her know he was there, his position
above her letting her know he'd protect her, he hoped the shield
would hold out against Luna.
Robin would then lean down and gently press his lips against the
blue hedgefox's, closing his eyes in the few moments it lasted
before leaning back a bit, still on top and recharging his
canon, his eyes scanning for Luna again. "[sub]Keep a keen eye
Veronica[/sub]".

Having not expected it and having her focus elsewhere. Of course
the plasma shot would strike the not so focused panther,
knocking her out of the tree that she was up in, she seemed to
disappear in the wind though, but she wasn't gone for long,
rematerialising on the ground. Her sword would take the brunt
of, and absorb the power from, the second plasma shot that Robin
took, being prepared for it this time, before a voice echoed
out.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"What are you doing-"[/I][/glow]
[glow=grey,2,300][I]"I don't take orders from you. I do as I
wish-"[/I][/glow] Luna was far from being alone in this attack
it would seem. The Panther would disappear in an instant, before
materialising from darkness, aiming four swift slashes at the
shield, while stating her defiance at whoever else was here,
before;

baseballs to the head would cause Luna to let out a yowl
followed by her quickly turning her attention to, and hissing
at, none other than a certain orange and white striped tiger.

/>he would shout, and oh had he turned their attacker's attentio

Luna would materialise into the darkness, but Scout could see
the grey mist that she'd turned into and would shoot at it,
diving out of the way as Luna's mist form charged straight at
him. A battle was underway.
Robin's kisses and words, combined with Luna's attention turned
away from them, acted as strengthening influences, and Fem was
able to open her eyes and would, despite her bleeding and
despite the gaping hole in her stomach, manage to pull herself
up, but this hedgefox was walking wounded and couldn't even hold
up her rifle, demonstrated by her attempting to do so straight
away. She'd manage to get it a few inches off the ground before
keeling over onto all fours again. Letting out a groan, it would
perk Luna's attention, but she didn't turn her attention back to
them, either she was determined to take Scout down, or had she
spotted something else in the tiger?
[I]"We'll take care of your rifle, Fem, just get you and Robin
out of there!"[/I] [I]"Whaddaya doin man? Get 'er outta
here!"[/I] Scout would call back to Robin and co as Fem's rifle
indeed disappeared from view. Fem would be trying to get herself
back up, gritting her teeth. Luna's Negative Pyrillis energy was
trying to jam Fem's darkscale energy entirely, but there was
some getting through, enough for Fem to be conscious, but how
much further than that was best debated somewhere else if it
needed to be.
[I]"Let's...[/I] [I]go."[/I] Fem would hardly be able to say
before falling onto all fours again. The grass around her now a
shade of greenish red from the blood she'd been losing.

[Mobian sized life form detected nearby]
Robin would look to see Scout had appeared on the scene! Never
had he been so greatful and glad to see the baseball bat
weilding tiger! ... Okay, that came off meaner then he meant.
Either way he was sure glad to have Scout here distracting Luna
from them. Although he was indeed worried for his friend the
tiger as Scout and Luna had their battle go underway, Scout gave
him more time to fully focus on Fem.
Robin would let out a sigh of relief as Fem opened her eyes, the
gaping hole however continued to worry him further. As she got
up and made it known she couldn't even use her rifle, Robin
would scoop her up into his arms "Hey now, don't put pressure on
that wound Honey, let me handle the moving, you rest okay?
Scout's covering for us and I'm-" He was soon being called at by
the tiger to get Fem outta there, the kickstart he needed really
to get his feet moving, "Going! I'm going! Keep up the good work
Slugger!" Robin would call back as he took off away from the
scene, his eyes half on where he was going and half of Fem's
wound. How where they going to fix it?
[Mobian sized life form detected nearby]
"Yeah that'd be good baseball bat kitty cat and bad trying to
end our lives here and now kitty cat back there Vero"
[No. Robin there is another-]
Robin would only just manage to swerve to the side, almost
dropping Fem in the process, but at least he didn't hit into the
other mobian Veronica had tried to warn him about.
He didn't have time to stop running to see whom it was but he
caught a glimpse and who he reckoned it was made him smile. The
more help the merrier! He also seemed to have passed something
off to Robin as he passed him...
Robin would continue on his way of 'getting her outta her' while
a new face would join Scout in holding back Luna. A sugar glider
mobian, brown in colour with deep pale red-brown eyes would join
the tiger, pulling a ring of rope from his belt and holding onto
it for now. "Alright fun's over, are ya gonna back down and head
on home kitty cat? Or are we gonna have to make ya? Don't choose
the second option alright? Bad choice" He'd say, in a 'just in
case you didn't know' kind of way. "C'mon now, step away from
the darkness and fightin'" The glider would insist, as he found
himself collecting up all of Scout's baseball's since he could t
get to either of them till they ceased fighting, "Tiger you can
go on ahead and catch up to the other lot if ya need, I can
handle this beauty" He'd announce. Weird for him to say
considering he had... What? A rope and fists? Whereas Scout had
much more to take Luna down, "Name's Clyde by the way, now go
on, I've got this".
Robin would finally check what Clyde had been passed off to him
and it seemed to be a medical kit of sorts. "Where the bloody
hell is Sapphire when you need her..."
[Location signal received from: Sapphire Hedgehog]
"Bleep her back I need that Medic!" Robin would say as he slowed
down a bit to try and apply some of the medical supplies to Fem.
"I'm no Medic, no doctor nor Nurse, but I'll try my best to get
you better I swear... Sapphire'll be here soon and... It's gonna
be okay, you'll be okay.." Robin reassured her, stroking back
some of Fem's hair as he slipped the rest of the medical
supplies into a pouch in his belt "Veronica, lower our shield,
and place in a temporary full in for her wound please,
solidified" Veronica would do so, the part that she filled in
glowing a bright green lightly. Robin knew it wouldn't last nor
work forever but it was better then nothing. He hoped Sapphire
an actual medic would get here soon to fix it for real.

Luna's curiosity surrounding the tiger would be answered as soon
as he had made an attempt to take off from the group and Clyde
tagged in, she seemed to manage to, what she believed, land a
slash on his back, but whether it landed or not was another
question as he seemed completely unharmed.
[glow=grey,2,300][I]"So. The hedgehog lives on..."[/I][/glow]
Luna would say as she watched the tiger run off and a new figure
emerge, but she wouldn't get to see who it was joining the fray,
as two 'Black Oak' giants (

/>) suddenly landed in front of her, blocking her view of their
new arrival.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"The power of positive draws near to us,
Pyrillis!"[/I][/glow] the starfish figure of Doom's Third Eye
would swivel in from behind the panther, causing her focus to
turn away from the Black Oaks and from Clyde.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"The dawn of a new era of demise and
destruction is almost upon us Pyrillis."[/I][/glow] he would
announce, as a large, stone made structure began to descend
towards the ground. Luna would be about to spin back around to
check on the Oaks, but Black Doom would warn her
[glow=red,2,300][I]"Do not risk turning to see the foolish being
that my soldiers are fighting. With one look, he could
neturalyse you and all of your hatred and anger. You must be
prepared to unleash all of your hatred, and [B]ULTIMATE
ANGER[/B] upon the world!"[/I][/glow]
The two black oaks standing between Clyde and his panther crush,
both held large tube shaped weapons, one of them would fire and
a purple star shaped shot would fly out, it would miss Clyde,
but it would hit a tree and cause an explosion that wiped out 2
or 3 trees. [glow=red,2,300][I]"Hmhmhmhm... This sugar glider is
an incompetent imbecile, and now he shall uncover his
foolishness..."[/I]
Clyde's words to Luna before had clearly gone unheeded, if he
wanted to get a chance to bring Luna around, he'd have to get
past the Black Oaks and Doom's Eye somehow...

With things getting into the full swing of danger where they had
been a minute beforehand, Fem was, for once, glad to be away
from the fight, as she kenw she couldn't take on Luna's level of
power, or a full blown alien leader who probably wasn't as
powerful as the panther that had left her with a hole through
her but could certainly take her down if he so wanted to while
she was in this state... As Robin stroked back some of her hair,
she'd weakly manage to lift an arm onto his shoulder and look up
at him, sadness in her eyes, sadness from the pain and how much
it hurt, yet she could hold back tears with Robin's comfort and
the filller from Veronica stopping the trail of blood being left
behind them. She'd manage to turn her head slightly and give
Veronica a light smile as thanks for the filler, letting out
another groan as, though she wasn't losing any more blood, her
heart was certainly beating with a lot of painful strain and a
hole in an artery or two, not to mention the stress of the whole
ordeal. How long she'd last was anyone's guess...
[i]"How's she doin?"[/I] Scout would ask as he caught up to the
trio. [I]"The lil hisser has more bite den she has bark. I hope
yer pal knows what he's doin."[/I] he'd say, looking at Fem,
then back at Robin. [I]"You really oughtta see our hardhat
sometime about learnin ta build Dispensers pal."[/I] he'd point
out. [I]"Dem things can heal and you'd be able ta fix 'er
yerself. Jus food fer t'ought."[/I] he'd add before letting out
a loud whistle and shouting

faster or something? The group could certainly use her and her
totally completely fully functioning medigun right now. Not just
Fem either, but Clyde too if any attempts he made to deal with
Doom's Eye and the Black Oaks went wrong.

Scout's loud whistle and shout didn't go unheard, in fact, after
Robin's beacon to her to alert her of his location, Scout had
given her the last bit of directions she needed to find them.
With a pitter patter of feet it'd be seconds later before
Sapphire would burst out into view from some bushes of the
forest they where in.
She froze after she realised she had landed right in front of
Scout if not s bit on top of him. Going a little red, her
expression was hard to read, she must've misjudged her jump...
She'd put a hand against Scout's chest and stand up properly
before dusting herself off and bringing herself away from the
tiger.
Sapphire would lighten up a touch at seeing Robin and Fem
though, "Robin! Sis!- Sis..? Oh my gosh..." She'd hurry over to
Robin whom had stopped moving for now just to let Sapphire check
Fem out.
She knew her medigun was broken. She knew she could not fully
heal her sister with it like this. Sapphire took one of Fem's
hands and squeezed it gently for support. She knew of the pain
she must be going through, it hurt enough watching her sister go
through all is hurt. The hedgehog sniffed and rubbed her eyes
letting Fem's hand go, reaching for the medigun. By now you'd of
probably noticed how banged up Sapphire was alongside the gun
itself, it wasn't as badly as she was, but it wasn't looking too
good either. A tear would slide down one of her cheeks as she
aimed the damaged healing weapon at Fem "Sapphire it's...
You're..." "It's fine, I'm fine, Fem's gonna be fine!" She'd say
firmly before pulling the lever. Blue mist would burst from the
nozzle and head right to Fem, beginning to heal her wound,
Sapphire too felt good as the gun in turn healed its Medic. But
it didn't last long. Sapphire would shake her head watching
Fem's healing wound stop healing, it wasn't fully healed yet..
Sapphire would try again, everytime getting less and less from
the nozzle "No.. No no! I need it! I need you! You can't do this
now!" She looked at Scout, tears streaming down her cheeks, "You
could've hit me all you liked by why'd you have to break it?
Scout... Why.." Sapphire would go to Fem and take her from
Robin's arms, hugging her tightly as she sat down on the forest
floor, rocking her back and forth. "It's gonna be okay, I
promise, I promise it'll be okay" She'd weep gently not noticing
Robin had crouched down behind her, and began to patch up and
fix the medigun.
"Scout keep an eye out please, we'll figure this out once we
can" He'd say. Pausing to pat Sapphire's head then Fem's before
continuing his work. Dispenser he couldn't build yet but fixing
he sure as hell could do. Why Sapphire was hurt along with the
medigun and why she seemed to pin it on Scout he'd figure out
after.
Clyde tipped his battered looking hat, fiddling with his rope a
bit as he listening to Black Doom talk to Luna. "Now you wait
just a minute here ya.. Floating.. Starfish eye.. Thing.. Let
the lady do as she pleases, she said herself just before she
don't take orders from you, so stop givin her orders yeah?" He
shook his head, as if disappointed in Doom's lack of hearing
Luna out or lack of respect towards her wishes. "The lady can
turn and risk seeing the foolish being your- HEY" He'd put on a
slight pout, hands going to his belt. Watching as the oaks would
get in between him and Luna "You're not really gonna let him
order you around like this are you? You're not gonna let him or
his goons stand in the way of what you wanna do right? What I
just saw before. Was a beautiful strong lady keepin up a real
fight! Impressive. Let's not have that same beautiful lady of
the night be shunted by some.. Starfish" He'd say, flicking his
bushy tail at Doom.
Clyde would hold onto his hat as some tree's where taken out.
"You put up these guys to face me? What was wrong with the
wonderful Panther? Are you sayin she's too weak to face me? How
very very rude." Clyde would tut, shaking a finger. "Move outta
the way and let me have my battle with a real opponent" He'd say
before diving, aiming to slide under and between the oak's legs.
Robin was doing rather well at putting the medigun' parts back
together, clicking them back into place and sticking or
retightening parts as he went to get its parts all back into
place. Sapphire rested her chin atop Fem's head, holding onto
her hands while they waited for Robin to fix the medigun.

Watching the direct defiance from Clyde, plus the further
attempts to get Luna against him, and of course calling his
third eye a starfish, did not please the alien lord.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"Hmmmm... I guess we'll have to deal with
you, ANOTHER WAY!"[/I][/glow] he'd say, and as the stone
transport came to the ground, Doom's Eye would disappear in a
flash of light that would blind all in the area for a second or
two, including the newly arrived Sapphire. Doom had planned to
reappear with his full body where he would be much more able to
deal with the sugar glider, but all he would get upon arrival
was something that would make him go [glow=red,2,300][I]"What's
this?!"[/I][/glow] as Luna was now surrounded in a bubble of
black, presumably dark energy. [glow=grey,2,300][I]"Since the
others are on their way... We don't need the Black Arms
anymore..."[/I][/glow] Closing her eyes from within the sphere,
she would let out an explosion of disintegrative energy.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"BEGONE!"[/I][/glow] The alien would attempt
to launch several meteors at the panther, but they would be
disintegrated by the energy. Sapphire, Fem, Robin and Scout
would be just out of the range of the core energy, and any dark
influence energies that got that far would be weak enough for
everyone in the group except Fem (assumedly) to shrug off what
the influences suggested to them, as a passing thought. The
blast that Luna had let out would knock back the alien lord and
completely obliterate the two Black Oaks nearby. Unless Clyde
had done something else to get himself out of the way, he'd find
himself covered by a light blue shield that would fade away once
the blast had passed. There was nothing standing between him and
the Panther now, but Black Doom's full body, meteor launching
figure had disappeared into the ground and was now about to rise
back up behind the sugar glider.
What next, Clyde?

went about their bit. Fem had her own conversation with a
psychic who she knew all too well. 'Acura' had been informed
ahead of time, of Fem's return, the two hedgefoxes having kept
in contact before and during Fem's year out in the future. And
she was well aware of the situation, so why was she not really
of help? [I]"You being put out so quickly by Luna. Crystal's
attack on her disguised as Scout-"[/I] [I]"HOLD THE PHONE!
Crystal's attack on-"[/I] [I]"Why so you think she's so beat up,
Fem? One of our mid-level agents, Portabello, went to Panoz
asking for a surveillance mission as part of an assignment, he
had nothing and pinged the rest of the management team, he
watched and spotted several distinguishment marks, we know the
real Scout was [B]not[/B] there, and the real thing is
briefed."[/I] [I]"But Scout's been here-"[/I] [I]"Actually hon,
he hasn't. We've had someone else cover as him while we found
the real thing and got him prepared to counter both this, and
the problem he'll have to face with Sapphire. We've told him to
play dumb, because, if he let's on that he knows what's been
going on, it prompts the question of [B]why[/B], and we can't
let Rob know we exist, and you know why this is the case. It's
bad to keep him out of the loop, but it's for the safety of so
many more."[/I] [I]"I've never forgotten that Ce. Don't
worry..."[/I] [I]"Captain Carnax we appear to have lost signal
on the antis. They must be back at their central."[/I] [I]"Thank
you agent. Keep an eye on secure channels, you know the
drill."[/I] [I]"Yes Ma'am."[/I] [I]"Fem, can you stand hon? That
standard medigun is looking a little worse for wear and the beam
seemed to die."[/I] [I]"It did, my arteries and major parts are
patched, but i'll still be letting off my share of hurting and
bleeding without a proper healing source."[/I] [I]"Hmmmm...
SCOUT. Scrap Plan A. Get to base and get the Quick-Fix from the
Medic room. We'll warp you in as soon as you-"[/I]

opportunity. Looks like Clyde has convinced Luna to turn on
Doom, he'll disappear shortly, and that guy always disappears in
a flash of light. Cover, tell Sapphire you don't know why she's
so upset at you, but you have something for her, Doom's
disappearance will allow us to switch you for the real thing,
who will have a medigun ready to give to her. Scout, be prepared
to help Sapphire haul two mediguns back to base. Fem, get
patched up, spend the time you need to with Robin, then seek out
our partner business in the city when you can get away from
them. I want to know what you've found out over the past few
months."[/I] [I]"Trust you Ce, you always have a plan in place.
Let's just hope this all works..."[/I] [I]"I'll see you soon
hon."[/I]

By the time Fem had gone through her thought conversation with
Acura and her friend had planned things out and rallied the
troops, the light blue hedgefox herself was in Sapphire's arms,
being cuddled and looked after by the blue hedgehog. [I]"It's
okay sis."[/I] she'd say gently, thanks to the Medigun's
somewhat futile effort to work, her heart no longer had a sword
caused hole in it, but she was still in a lot of pain, she could
see it in Sapphire's eyes, she had to pull it together, gritting
her teeth, she'd take a deep breath and look up at her sister,
putting on a bit of a smile. [I]"I know it will... I have you
and Robin and Veronica... That's..."[/I] she'd stop and let out
a shaky breath, moving a hand to her back...Hot, red and
sticky... Her organs were stable, but she was still bleeding,
she'd take another deep breath. [I]"That's... Always...
En[/I][I]ou[/I][I]gh."[/I] her voice was breaking up at the end
of her sentence. She was determined to calm her sister down,
even if she put herself unconscious in the process.
[I]"Nothing... Will kill us."[/I] she'd lay there in her
sister's arms.
