Attack of the Cronies (Eggmetal Battle) (Ask to join)

It was a bright sunny day in the Rebuilt city. The devastation
Eggman caused seemed to be completely undone, save for the
countless missing people and loss of life. Over all however
things were back to some sort of normality. With people
returning to the city, and people returning to work Things
seemed right with the world.
But nothing stayed peaceful for long. The sky darkened and the
citizens paniced. An Egg Carrier hovered over the city, the
sides opened quickly send out a few hundred Badniks, RollerBugs,
Buzzbombers, Even two Metal Sonics of blue and red.
They'd begin causing havok wherever they could. Destroying
buildings and products here and there, while the others would
torment and harm the citizens whom lived in the rebuilt city.

Suddenly a blue flash of light appear among the scene seemingly
replacing it with a dark figure..a hedgehog no less. Murderous
ruby red eyes examine the battlegrounds The city of the newly
built Mobotropolis is under attack once again after several
months of its destruction. Is history looking to repeat itself?
No signs of fast talking blue hedgehogs strangely enough;
normally the ebony pincushion would step aside allowing the
group of warriors he has heard about to come in and save the
day. But ever since the first attack on the capital they
appeared to drop from the face of the planet
He hasn't seen Sonic himself in action lately either;
technicality he hasn't met him in person only reading about him
on the newspaper and sometimes catching small footage of him on
the broadcasted news.
Nonetheless he has heard about his legendary status as The
Fastest Thing Alive and due to his unexplained absence this
mystery black hedgehog will soon prove to be an excellect
substitute.
"Hmph..Sonic and his pals haven't showed themselves to the world
in a while..looks like I am gonna have to put a stop to this
mindless destruction.." he boldly stated with his arms folded
with confidence.
Leaping into action the first thing he does is seemingly imitate
the dramatic entrances Sonic loves to make. Using his speed to
zip around the troops of robots in a black blur; illuminating
the air with a golden speed trail creating a strong gust of wind
attempting to destroy them as fast as he can.

After the events in that town in the gorge, Mallow had chosen to
travel over Mobius to keep the emerald and himself safe. During
those months, he shed his dyed winter coat and was able to enjoy
once again the gleaming white of his fur. While the more capable
fighters took on Scourge, he chose to do as Ty had suggested and
that was to not screw up or get captured. Well, he had done
this, listening on the frequencies on his new communicator for
any missions or SOSes he could be useful in. But for most of the
time, he was left with his own means and intuition. So it was
when he saw on an old TV at a bar, news of the reconstruction of
Mobotropolis, that made him return to the city in question, only
to find out when he got there that it was being attacked by
Eggman's forces. Again.
His mind flashed back to Sandover, and Mallow cringed at the
memories and pulled down his sand goggles, before letting out an
annoyed huff as he swapped his shoes with the power boots. After
securing his backpack tightly to his person, and launched
himself high into the air, then extended his long ears using
them like wings on a glider. His sharp eyes scanned the skirmish
below and zeroed in on some badniks messing with a couple of
civilians. Perfect.
His ears folded back against his body, allowing him to drop
quickly, he flipped and twisted in the air as he descended, then
nailed a perfect landing as he had done many times in stunts
during his time as a carny. He had placed himself between the
civilians and the baddies.
He straightened and struck a pose, full of his usual sass and
fabulousness, despite the ruggedness of his outfit and lack of
make-up. "Hello boys, remember me? No? Well, let me remind you.
Let's dance!" He stated before attacking the robots, his style
made him appear that he was dancing with them, and though while
his movements were elegant and fluid, yet his hits were precise
and powerful, as a graceful flurry of kicks would most likely
cause for some serious robot damage.

In the midst of all the chaos a bolt of red lightning bounced
around nea the outskirts of town before coming to a complete
stop. Once the light faded, Veira stood just a few feet from a
group of people who came running past her in quite a hurry. This
left the huntress confused for a moment. Of course her confusion
was answered when a swarm of robots came out of nowhere and
started laying waste to the town.
Was Eggman back in town? Had Sonic be wrong about Eggman? It
didn't matter now. People's lives were in stake and Veira would
not sit by and watch the city fall. Drawing her sword, she
quickly dashed through robots taking extra care not to destroy
them completely in case any animals were inside. She didn't want
a repeat of before with her first robot encounter.
" Seems the doctor is making a house call....looks like Val's
potion is gonna have to wait." she muttered to herself.

Each robot destroyed would cause a fluffy or feathered critter
to fall out. But with everyone they destroyed there were plenty
more to replace them.
A few droids weren't ones doing any harm, Small Camera drones
buzzed about, looking like bees as they watched. They were
Eggman's eyes. One of which focused on Shadow.
Eggman frowned. " Impossible..." He muttered. "That was the
creature detailed in the Facility I found on this moon..." He
tapped his cheek. "Buzz Bots, keep an eye on that one. I want to
know what its capable of."
One of the Metal Sonics Rushed Shadow, The Metal doppelganger
covered in a plasma like energy as it attempted to ram right
into Shadow to cause a serious bit of damage.
The same could be said for Mallow and Viera. They two would both
be attacked in a similar manner to the extremely quick Metal
sonics. They were only able to go mach 2, but it was certainly
faster than most could perceive.

The large numbers were certainly a handle aren't they..It wasn't
like Shadow was having any trouble dealing with groups of small
fry...its just he may soon realize he would eventually tire
himself out if he continues to fight like this.
"What a pain.." he mutters in annoyance revving a spin dash into
the enemy knocking them over like bowling pins.
In truth he could easily end this whole scuffle with a mighty
Chaos Blast but he does not want to cause a huge amount of
collateral damage and accidentally disintegrate these innocent
people in a populated area.
in the corner of his eye a Metal Sonic has its optics set on the
black hedgehog threatening to cause him harm while he is
distracted. Good thing his reflexes were just as quick as the
blue blur; at the last possible second he cartwheels to the
right and raises his left hand to gather yellow particles of
electic-like chaos energy. "Hah!...You have no chance at beating
me!" [glow=yellow,2,300]"Chaos....SPEAR!!"[/glow]
Unleashing a yellow arrow of light he attempts to either disable
or send the Metal doppleganger into the scrap yard before it
could do some serious damage

It was just as Veira thought, the robots were being controlled
by animals. It was a good thing she wasn't really trying that
hard. The more she fought, the more robots seemed to appear. Was
there no end to them? She sighed slowly before her hears stood
at attention as something fast was approaching her direction.
When she turned around, she quickly sidestepped the attacker but
a part of her coat did get caught and shredded by the insane
speed.
Looking at her coat for a second, she looked at her attacker and
gripped her sword as it sparked lightning. "Tch....I already
have to deal with one speed demon as it is. Your just a fake
whose about to get shut down." Veira stated as she dashed at the
metal sonic with lightning fast speed swinging her sword in
vertical strikes hoping to catch the robot off guard with her
fast movements.

Flashbacks of that fight at Sandover kept Mallow's attacks from
hitting the minion bot's cores where the animals were located.
And a good thing too, he didn't want more blood on his hands.
When the bots seemed to keep coming without stop, he jumped back
and landed on a light post, scanning the battle, there were so
many, not that he was complaining or wearing out. As a ballet
dancer, high stamina was an absolute must and training that
would render a professional football player wheezing and
sweating buckets was something he did every day.
His attention was drawn towards another fighter, and he squinted
to make sure that his wasn't seeing things. Mallow felt his
heart skip at seeing the black hedgehog from all those months
ago, he had not forgotten that strong, muscular physique, the
aloof attitude, the sexy colors of black and red. He stared at
the other mobian, despite being in the middle of a battle, it
was like in those movies where the guy sees the girl and their
brains just go dead, and hearts appear on the screen, along with
jazzy music playing in the background, etc.
Suddenly his rabbit instincts to move flared up, knocking out of
his trance and he jumped from his perch only to have it become
smashed a second later, he turned and saw the metal Sonic
standing there, preparing another attack. He blinked and then
sniffed. "Sorry darling, but your tempo is a little too fast to
my rhythm." When the robot continued to attack, the rabbit
dodged, albeit barely. "Well, I must admire your persistence.
However, I don't like men who can't take no for an answer!" He
would send a flurry of kicks and jabs at the robot, he didn't
have to hold back for this opponent.
If the robot's every gesture was at a constant speed of Mach 2
which was 1534.54 mph, aka twice the speed of sound, rather than
being a max running speed that took time and preparation to
build up to, then the rabbit was in trouble.

The metal Sonic dealing with shadow was swiftly destroyed with
the devastating attack. It exploded violently sending parts
every which way. Eggman smiled as he watched from the death
egg, stroking his mustache as the eye bots gathered data.
The metal sonic dealing with Viera flew towards her at breakneck
speeds, however when she slashed she'd be met with the metal
sonic spindashing agianst her blade, sending sparks every which
way as it pushed against her, trying to knock her over.
The one that Mallow dealt with would cross its arms infront of
itself, taking most of the brunt of his attack only to get
kicked away, causing it to roll into the other Metal sonic Viera
was dealing with. The two of them exploded and that seemed like
the end of it. A couple metal sonics and a now retreating
Eggforce.. Seems Eggman's forces were weaker than usual.

That however was far from the truth. A large pod fell from the
ship before slamming into the ground. It hissed loudly before
its panels shot off into nearby buildings. A single red eye
flashed into life with a loud "DONG" the ground shook violently
as something took a step from the fog that surrounded the pod
before another step came. It took one more step, revealing a
two story tall Silver Sonic. This particular model was Mk2. Its
plasma cannons in each finger began to charge up, before its eye
seemed to gather energy. It pulled in a considerable amount
before blasting out with a long beam that it strafed past them
and deeper into the city. It took a few moments for a trail of
explosions to wrack their ears and shake the earth as every
place on the laser's path seemed to explode rather violently.

The prideful hedgehog stood in place of its destruction arms
folded abroad his chest admiring his handy work with confidence.
None of those contraptions were any match for him not even a
Metal Sonic. "Too easy for me...Next!" he boasted with arrogance
with a taunting smirk.
His position remain unchanged waiting for the Overlander to send
in another robot for Shadow to nullify its warranty and soon his
wish will be granted. There was in fact another robot alright;
however the incoming threat wasn't anything the black hedgehog
had expected. If it wasn't for his dominating standing posture
displaying his confidence and certainty he will always come out
on top then people could realize he is actually caught of guard.
His sharp ruby eyes were narrowed; gazing their opponent right
in front of the group stood a much bigger, more menacing version
of those Sonic-like combat droids except silver in color and
muuuuch more dangerous. Why does it look like all of his "elite"
squad of mooks were modeled after Sonic? was the blue hedgehog
THAT big of a deal? that's for the doctor to know and everyone
else to find out.
Before he could do anything Silver Sonic was gathering energy
within his singular eye and preparing its plasma cannons. A
laser was fired about as fast as the Black Blur himself zipping
past the group to cause a considerable amount of damage to the
environment creating vibrations within the ground.
Shadow could only be a witness to the event; his stern
expression replaced with the feelings of shock. Uncertain if the
civilians were killed as a result it was still enough to rile up
his anger. "Ill make you pay for this!" He revs into a spin dash
taking off faster than a bullet attempting to destroy its
fingers by bouncing around both left and right arms striking
with rapid multi spin attacks with blazing speed. If anyone else
were to be watching this all they would see is a streak of
golden light continuously pounding the enemy.
