Burning Metal

It had been awhile since Blaze had ventured out on his own like
this. With the destruction of mobotropolis, having to leave
Sandover village to save the citizens, he even had to leave
Veira behind so as to not have two emeralds close at the same
time. That would just bring chaos to the two and that was
something he didn't need...or want it for the matter. He had
been walking for some time now and ended up on the open fields
of the great forest.
Taking a moment to take in the view, he pulled out the red
emerald and looked at it deeply in thought. "All this
chaos.....and i thought Robotnik was bad. I really hope this
doesn't get worse." he stated as he put the emerald back in his
pocket before walking again.

The Sky over the great forest would darken suddenly, as a large
ship seemingly appeared from nowhere. There was a sound of a
loud rumbling of engines as the large Egg Carrier flew over
head. It would stop, before a large thin beam would seemingly
shoot out of the bottom, quickly scanning the entire forest
section beneath it in seconds. The machine ship would let out
an alarm suddenly, as spotlights turned on under the ship, all
of which focusing on Blaze.
Soon enough The area was swarming with Badniks. Motobugs and
BuzzBombers mostly. But there were also a few Eggpawns as well.
They were all converging on Blaze's position, all because of the
Chaos Emerald he had in his possession. However this was just to
keep him distracted. A large pod shot off from the carrier a few
miles away in the forest, causing a great explosion that would
shake the earth.Large shards of metal would shoot off the bod in
all directions, though none would do anyone harm.
An electronic howl would echo through the forest, and soon
enough trees would begin to fall as whatever it was neared
Blaze.
The Egg Cerberus had arrived to hunt its prey.

Blaze stopped moving as the sky grew dark out of nowhere.
Looking up, he was shocked to see one of Eggman's ship hovering
over the area. He was curious as the strange light scanned the
area but he didn't need that to tell him trouble was coming.
Suddenly a wave of roots surrounded him. It was the ones from
before back at Sandover village, guess they were here for the
emerald. Or Eggman is just hunted down the freedom fighters one
by one.
Blaze didn't waste anytime in attacking the robots quickly
making sure not to repeat his early mistake by completely
destroying what was inside the robots. He had to make sure the
animals were okay. Suddenly he stopped as he heard the roar
coming from the forest. "Oh what is that?" Blaze asked as he
looked in the general direction.

Trees were sent flying as the howl returned again, before a ten
foot metallic hound burst through the tree line. It let out
electronic growling as it stared down at Blaze. THe red lights
all across its body pulsated with energy as it began to move in
a circle around the Hyrbid. It was rather imposing, to say the
least. Seeing such a robotic monster just show up. And with its
predatory stance it was clear it was there for him, or the
emerald.
Egg Cerberus let out a howl, before charging him suddenly,
lowering its head as a Plasma coated Horn grew from its head.
IT was attempting to gore him like a Rhino would.

Blaze had just about finished the last of the robots when he
heard the howling return for a second time. Suddenly a few trees
came flying out of nowhere and almost got hit with one before
jumping out of the way. He looked at the large metal canine with
a tilted head not really surprised that much by the large beast.
If anything he was wondering how to take this thing down. Once
he saw the plasma horn sticking out of the beast's head as it
charged at him, an idea popped up.
Reaching in his pocket, he pulled out some new gloves with metal
claws at the tips before sliding them on. Once it was in range,
Blaze leaped to the side and swung his hand into the robot's leg
hoping to get a good grip into the metal monster. If successful,
he could began climbing to the top.

He would be successful in catching onto the large metal beast,
but climbing was going to be difficult. It skidded to a hault
and began thrashing around, Slamming its body into trees in an
attempt to knock the Hybrid off. It Let out angry snarls and
growls as it did so, before the horn folded away back into the
head.
A few more buzzbombers would come from the ship and fly down,
each one of them shooting at Blaze as he tried to climb.

"Ah come on are you kidding me? More of these guys....as if i
didn't have enough problems." Blaze said as he took out his
sword with one hand and started to swing at the laser fire to
deflect the shots before climbing to the top. The constant
shaking him around like a rag doll was not fun. When he managed
to reach the top, he jabbed the sword into the dog hoping to
stay latched on for the time being. He had noticed the horn had
disappeared rather quickly. No doubt it tried to protect it's
weak spot.
"Now what do i do?" he said as he looked around a bit.

In the mist of the battle was a brief flash of light appearing
out of nowhere. A group of people arrived to the scene
succefully via teleportation landing somehwere safe as to not
accidently get caught in the crosfire of either combatant. Tony
took the time to survey his surroundings to confirm his
destination; so far everything seems to be what he described.
"Hmm..tall trees and green grass..Check; fresh air and smelly
animals..Check; a giant robot dog fighting Blaze..Check;
Alright..looks like we have found the right pl-..Hey wait a
minute..What the Hell!?" He quickly witness his sibling
counterpart taking on a metal canine that bears a passing
resemblance to a cerberus...except with a single head.

It only took them a little bit of time before they arrived in
the fields of the great forest. It looked rather peaceful to be
honest. When Veira looked around a bit, she took in the
environment before she heard Ty say something about Blaze.
Turning her attention ahead, she saw her friend fighting with
some dog robot. "What is that thing doing here? "Veira asked
curiously before drawing her blade. "Blaze hold on i'm coming!"
Veira shouted as she ran at the robot before leaping at one of
the joints and swung at one of it's legs.
Blaze on the other hand continued to hang on to the robot as it
moved about trying to throw him off. "Veira? What are you doing
here?" he asked. He then noticed the others who came with her.
"Hey is that Sapphire with you?" he asked.

There seemed to be a big fight in between a hero and a mettalic
creature. Valentine and Poe appeared in the middle of the field.
The Giant creature looked awfully destructive and the witch got
scared again. Poe scanned the creature but he could not
recognized anything his familiar knowledge would allow him to.
This was a very strange environment. Valentine fainted and Poe
flew away to examine the situation. " pyro infernum." He casted
a fireball on the machine wondering if it would have any effect
at all while his mistress was out.
