ンス! Mobius High School Romance!

[[Premise: High School romance anime. Keep it PG13 for the
board's sake. What-if your character in the life of a
Japanese-style highschool a la anime romance. Try to refrain
from making it too gag-anime based. No weapons at school, no
mega-super-powered DBZ stuff. The idea is to keep it silly,
keep it wacky, keep it comical, full of tension, and of course -
romance. All teachers and staff are NPC. The point is to have
all of our characters back to their teen years so we can
interact with each other ... and not be super creepy about it.
Tamago High
School colours: Gold and white
School uniforms:
--Brown trousers and jacket; black shoes; white shirt for guys
--Brown skirt, shoes, and scarf; white blouse and socks for
girls
School mascot: Omochao
School motto: Don't let the pressure of life put a crack in your
shell.
School time is arbitrary. Don't worry about what time it is for
others. If you make a post at lunch time, then it's lunch.
If you see another person posting about lunch time, and you were
previously at breakfast? Feel free to join them at lunch!

Summer had ended the vacation weeks. The morning, crisp and
sweet, brought school bells. School had opened up for the new
semester. Another year passed, and new first-year students came
to Tamago High. Leaned against the gate, outside, Belle tilted
her head back and gazed skyward. A few stray clouds caught the
sunlight of this bright August morning, and the sound of cicadas
filled the air.
"Tch. It's still technically summer. Why do we have to come
back when it's still hot?" The monkey played with her hair
idly. Uniform, winkled. Socks, sagging. The humidity played
horribly on that twirl of hair atop her head, "And what's with
having to dye my hair back to it's "natural" colour?!" She
clutched her fist, lips pouting forward. "We live in a world
where some are naturally blessed with green fur! Peh!" Arms
crossed and she tapped her foot.
Her sea-green eyes glanced back, body turned to look inside the
gate, and she sighed out a rough huff at the other students
gathering in the front court. There was still time before the
school day started, and Belle refused to socialise with the
Freshmen. For now, she put in some earbuds and listed to some
jammin' tunes.

"WOOOOHOOOO!" a rather high-pitched and overly excited voice
echoed throughout the front court of the school and before long
someone had just somersaulted up-and-over the front gates and
landing amongst the rest of the students. Some students flinched
with surprise and dropped their things, some stared with
confusion and others were either annoyed or ignored the newcomer
entirely. She was a tiger whom was just a little taller than
average, standard build, bright pink eyes darting around at just
about anything that moved - which was just about everyone
considering the current gathering of students - and her uniform
looked like that it was just a tad bit too big for her; but that
wasn't even on her mind right now.
The tiger bounced on the spot almost feverishly and when she
spoke Vallerah was speaking so quickly that she managed to say
all of it in one breath. While doing so, she was introducing
herself to anyone, and just about everyone who was within an
arm's reach of her; taking the initiative of grabbing a hand or
two at a time to shake them as she introduced herself rather
energetically,
"Hi-there-how's-it-going-name's-Vallerah-I'm-new-here-and-gosh-a
m-I-ever-damn-excited-it's-so-great-to-meet-you-and-you-oh-and-y
ou-new-town-new-Mobians-new-school-new-friends-oh-heck-what-am-I
-talking-about-I've-travelled-half-way-around-Mobius-just-to-com
e-here-I-don't-even-know-what-a-flipping-Twinkie-is-or-whatever-
the-heck-Ramen-is-but-I've-heard-that-the-cafeteria-here-caters-
for-so-many-different-needs-gosh-darn-I-am-starving-just-thinkin
g-about-it-is-it-lunch-yet-wait-you-there-are-you-new-too-or-hav
e-you-been-going-here-for-a-while-do-you-know-where-Block-B-I-ha
ve-first-period-in-one-of-the-rooms-there..."
At last she finally took a deep breath in, after realizing that
she had momentarily forgotten how to breathe and was going
slightly blue in the face. She kept looking around, occasionally
glancing at a few girls her own age from head to toe,
momentarily distracted.
(I'm kinda leaving this one open for the students Vallerah is
talking to be either other RPers' characters or NPCs~)

Belle's eyes went wide as she heard the squeaking frantic
greeting of the tiger that just bounded over the gate.
"So loud..." The monkey grouched. She had heard that
sugar-high enthusiasm over her music.
The Junior student finally came around the gate. Fingers pulled
on her backpack straps, the brown standard satchel was covered
in various patches and charms. Eyes remained down to the
ground, expression remained neutral. The last thing Belle
wanted was attention. Breathe in, breathe out; step after step
to the school. Ah, sanctuary. She made her way into the locker
room, switching out her outside shoes for her inside shoes.
Belle caught a glance of herself in her locker mirror, and
brought out makeup from her backpack. <<A little extra lipstick
never hurt anybody. Might as well preen and primp a few minutes
before the bell.>>

Among the students that watched the tiger leap over the school
gates was a red fur wolf who was busy playing with her phone a
bit. She was shocked when the girl shook her hand and blinked as
she listened to her speak. Boy could she speak. Veira tilted her
head and smiled slightly before trying to ask a question of her
own. "You said you were new here? That's cool so am I names
Veira. Nice to meet ya Vallerah. Mind if I call you Val for
short?" she asked with a smile as her tail swayed slightly.

Mallow came up the walkway towards the school, he wasn't rushed
for time as his casual strut down the street was evident enough.
His head bobbed slightly to the songs of Britney Deer, mentally
going over dance steps he and the other drama team were
choreographing for this fall's play. Occasionally his arms would
thrust out or he would go into a dramatic pose at a certain time
on the song, and then he would continue his way through the
gate.
"Good morning, Belle," he greeted as he passed the upper
classman. He was 2nd year, or a sophomore, meaning that he was a
bit more approachable than the 3rd years, but gained enough
respect himself from the surrounding 1st years, or freshmen.
He adjusted the yellow tie around his neck, he had to say that
he really liked these uniforms, granted they were a bit bland
but he was glad that the colors didn't clash too terribly with
his snowy white fur and albino complexion. Probably the only
thing he really complained about was the restriction on makeup
the students could wear. What was wrong with wearing eyeliner
anyway? Absolutely nothing. He even had to switch to a lighter
shade of charcoal and apply it so lightly, that you could barely
see it. "Tch, such a drag," he sighed.

Scourge exited the boys bathroom smelling of smoke. He turned up
the collar of the torn leather jacket he wore over his school
uniform. He winked at the groups of Japanese school girls
swooning over the school's track star and resident bad boy. He
was about to go flirt with the girls when we came across the
school mascot waiting around the lockers. A wicked idea popped
into his head as he dragged the person inside the suit off
kicking and screaming. As the green menace dragged him away he
was offering useless advice like. "Maybe if you tried studying
you wouldn't get so many F's." This only made Scourge mad as he
stomped the poor guys head into the toilets under his leather
boots. After giving the annoying dork the swirlie of a life time
he exited once more drying his hands on his jacket. Scourge
approached the group liking the look of the new girl.
"So you guys going to introduce me to this cutie or do I have to
sit through another one of your lame dances before you do me any
favors?" He said in a cool raspy voice. You could tell by
looking at him he was the kind of guy in the principals office
moreso than classes.

Belle grinned at Mallow as he came into the locker hall at the
front of the school. The monkey really did not care about
makeup restrictions and probably would wind up in the hallway
holding a bucket in each hand for the first class, but she was
an intelligent kid, and had no problem catching up on her school
work. Being the loner type, she did not mind working on studies
during lunch hour.
"You -are- a drag, Mallow." She gave an oh-ho-ho-ho! style
laugh behind her hand before closing her locker. She held up
her satchel, opened it, and presented a bento to Mallow.
"Hora~! Look~! I made you lunch for the first day of school as I
promised. I know how much you like my carrot curry and red bean
rice." The clear top of the bento showed such within, along
with cucumber slices and a plastic-wrapped pack of dried seaweed
slices. "I did not forget about you being vegetarian."

Mallow put away his music player and changed his shoes, then
grinned when he heard Belle's voice. "That's drag 'queen' to
you, darling." He winked at her then gasped at the lunch.
"Sweetie! You remembered! You didn't have to do that for me." he
gave her a hug, and reached into his school bag, pulling out at
some homemade treats wrapped up in lavender tissue paper. "Here.
A new recipe I've been trying out. Thought you might like them.
Banana blueberry white chocolate scones. An old family recipe,
according to my foster mother." he exchanged the baggie with the
lunch.
"So, how was your summer?" he asked, pausing a moment when he
heard what sounded what was like drowning and lots of toilet
flushing, coming from the boys restroom. The moment Scourge
stepped out, Mallow knew he had something to do with those
sounds. Narrowing his eyes, he sighed. "Hold that thought,
Belle," he said, making his way to the lavatory.
Checking the stalls he found some poor soul dressed in an
Omochao costume, soaking wet from toilet water. Grimacing,
Mallow helped the student up, and over to the sink. "Here," he
said, holding out a spare handkerchief. The student wiped
himself off, and Mallow helped him out of the costume.
"Go to the drama club, there are some spare uniforms there you
can use for the time being. I would suggest reporting Scourge to
the principal's office-" When the student refused, Mallow sighed
and declined the returned handkerchief. "Keep it. I have
another." And he really didn't want to carry around something
soaked in toilet water.
After washing his hands, he left the student with some advice
and words of encouragement, before heading out and rejoining
with Belle. "Sorry about that. What was the question? Ah, yes,
How was your summer?" he asked.

Ah! Treats. She beamed so bright of a smile, and kindly bowed
when she accepted the homemade scones. "Thank you very much,
Mallow ... Oh..." Her lips curled as Mallow pardoned himself,
and their conversation was cut short.
Of course, she knew that Mallow was doing something good and
kind.
Belle had followed to the outside of the bathroom, sighing as
she watched the soaked mascot kid coming out with a sad waddle.
When Mallow returned, she laughed and walked into a nearby
classroom. She sat at a desk, leaning back in the chair, legs
up on the desk. "Summer? It was fine. My little sister had to
take mentor classes throughout, but I helped her, too. Come
next year, she'll be a first year student. I just hope she's
not as wild and crazy as the newbies out there right now."

Scourge smiled and cupped his hands shouting down the hallway.
"You snitch on me I'll make sure your girlfriend knows you like
drinking toilet water." With that he turned to his locker
annoyed the rabbit had ignored him. "Ahhh whatever no big deal.
Where is that....yes!" He said pulling an answer key from his
book and slipping it into his jacket. He made his way into the
classroom with the monkey and rabbit clearing his throat wanted
to get noticed. "So you guys know there's that big test coming
up? What would you say if I could guarantee you'll ace it? For a
price of course."
