I missed it. (One-Off)

It had been some time since Rudo had returned to town. He had a
large sack of precious Gems and other stones. He made his way
out of his mine, and headed out into the forest that his mine
sat in. He didn't know the name, it didn't matter to him. He
just had his mine and he was happy. How many times he came in
and out of it was minimal, and the only times he did was to sell
his goods in town and get more supplies.
Last he reckoned he had come out around a month ago, and only
now ran out of supplies. He hoisted that large sack of stones
onto his back before making his way towards Mobotropolis. The
city he knew so well. The food there..... It always got his
mouth watering. The very thought of it got him to drooling,
which he had to wipeo ff his mouth. His journey would be slow,
taking around three days too get around. He couldn't wait to see
the city's gates and all the happy people. And the food. Damn
there his mind went, thinking about food again.
He'd head up the hill that the city was in excited to see the
city, only to stop when he saw the remains of the city. He
blinked a few times, before looking up into the sky, noting the
many ships hovering above it. He then looked back down to the
crater, noting all the Badniks before he spoke.
"Aw, Sh*t."
