The Situation

My name is Sonic hedgehog and I am the fastest thing alive. To
the world I'm a superhero who enjoys widespread fame and
celebratory status. I use my speed to fight crime and keep
freaks from destroying my home. I finally defeated the man who
was attempting to take the city for himself but in doing so I
opened up our world to a new threat and I am the only one fast
enough to stop it. Or at least I was. Less than twenty four
hours ago a maniac calling himself Eggman stupid name I know,
launched an attack on the capital city. As the bombs fell I saw
my only home and life's work vanish in seconds along with a
large portion of the people I care about. The small village I
decided to retire to was next. After loosing so many people I
couldn't bare to watch this tyrant lay waste to my friends and
their homes so......I surrendered. I just don't have the fight
left in me to keep on going. This endless cycle of death and
misery isn't what being a hero is about. The cheering masses the
personal glory that's all I ever wanted. Now I'm on some airship
strapped up to my neck with C4. My friends managed to escape but
I'm not sure they even stand a chance. To make matters worse I
haven't seen Karahl since the attack....................
