It was a bright summer day in Sandover village. Sonic's seaside
shack was in prime retaliate where sand met sea. The hedgehog
was having a lazy day enjoying his vacation time as he sat in
his hammock eyes closed enjoying the sun. It had been a few days
since Sonic Karahl and the elemental brothers had spent the
holidays together. There was a stack of mugs in the sink with
the words Fatest Thing Alive! printed across them. Sonic opened
one eye and glanced at them giving an annoyed groan. "I don't
care if the shop made a printing error Blaze and Ty are lousy at
picking Christmas presents." He told himself annoyed wondering
what his friends were up to.

"Well sorry for grabbing something at the last minute....sup
blue." Blaze stated as he leaned on the window out looking the
ocean. The fiire user stood there with a smirk for a bit before
walking inside and flops onto the couch kicking his feet up to
relax. " What you been up to?" he asked.

Sonic zipped over to the sink filling the mug with water while
wearing an unpressed look. "I know we've all put on a bit of
weight after Christmas dinner but do I look like the fatest
thing alive to you?" Before dropping down next to Blaze he
comments. "Just enjoying the time off. No city in peril no
screaming civilians......Yeah Blaze I'm bored."

"Given how chili dogs seems to be your only source of food I'm
surprise you don't have a belly" Ty leaning on a wall with his
arms crossed like usual expressing with a nonchalant smile.

He glanced over at Ty looking a little shocked. "How long have
you been there for? I was starting to think you were a lamp or
something. It's not just my feet that are fast so is my
metabolism, it breaks down fatty foods so fast besides do you
know how many calories running around the world burns?"

"I don't think i can count that high.."Blaze commented before
relaxing a little more. ''Besides with nothing to do really i'm
starting to miss the big city....almost anyways." he added
before looking at Ty. Seeing the ice user appear out of nowhere
was no surprise to him. He actually expected him to show up not
to long before him.

"Yeah I miss that lifestyle to but we promised Karahl we'd slow
it down. That place was tearing us apart the constant tension
always being at each others throats. Eh let's see whats on TV."
Sonic flicked on the power button and a show of a monkey falling
over came on. Every time the primate fell down a laugh track
would play. Sonic's expression fell to one of pure annoyance and
distaste. "This crap is what passes for entertainment these
days? They should be airing those old movies I stared in.
Robotnik Rises, Robotnik's revenge hell I'd even settle for that
movie they made out of the songbird situation. Too bad they
hired women to play you guys but hey were not all born as
talented as I am. Hero, actor and stuntman all in one."

Just as Sonic finished talking up his skill set a massive crash
shook the entire village as something very fast from the sky has
collided with the ground not too far from the shack. The impact
left a massive smoking crater as whatever it was had just fallen
from space. A purple woman donned in a white cloak bearing
Chinese symbolism walked out of the impact zone. Her gold
trimmed shoes stepped out of large hole she had created and she
headed slowly into the village.

"Wait....you mean to tell me the public made films based on our
lifestyle!? When did this happened!?" he was caught off guard by
this revelation.
Hasnt everyone realized those events were no laughting matter?
the captital was alwas getting destroyed and people were dying
like a drop of a hat. Normally you would try to forget the
traumatic experiences and move on and yet they treat it like it
was a joke.
I guess they think the action was cool enough to create a series
of movies to entertain themselves.
"Hm?" a loud explosion instantly caught his attention enough to
investigate outside the hut.

Blaze was just about to comment on Sonic's input about girls
playing as him and his brother. Truth be told....it didn't
bother Blaze given the fact he was sort of the backseat driver
to his own body when Veira was in control during that little
rescue mission with Kara and the others. He sat back staring at
the celling before sighing a bit.
The sound of the impact caused him to sit upright and look out
the window. "What was that? Some sort of meteor hit the ground?"
he wondered before getting to his feet and decided to go
investigate.
