       New Continuity

       Sonic Spotlight's new continuity takes place one year after the
       events that ended Sonic Spotlight's original canon. After the
       destruction of the city the heroes went their separate ways.
       After about a year of aimless drifting they all met up again and
       decided to make a home for themselves in Sandover Village. While
       not quite living the quiet life they have found a sense of peace
       by the seaside. Sonic and his friends have since set aside old
       rivalries and formed a new team Sonic acting as the village's
       protectors. The big city is on the mend and the rest of life on
       Mobius goes on as the world keeps on spinning.
