The Truth Hurts. (MOBIUS X DEATHEGG) (SONIC AND EGGMAN ONLY)

It had been three days. Three days since Sonic had been
apprehended. He had been held in a space craft, and then
transferred to another ship. Eventually he reached the death
Egg, and was put into a containment chamber built specifically
for him. Obsidian walls, coated in a thin Matter shield. It
would keep him from vibrating out of the jail one way or
another. It was also suspended over a pit of acid.
A walkway hissed as it extended towards the chamber, Eggman's
sinister smile quite apparent as he walked up to the cell door.
It hissed open, though the shield stayed in place. " How do you
like your new home Sonic? Is it to your liking?" He chuckled. "
I don't care either way. But you should be thankful that your
diet here consists only of Chili-dogs. After all, even if you
are my prisoner you are also a guest... I can't have you dying
before the fun begins." He began to stroke his mustache. " The
world has been getting along well without you. Mobius is safe
without your menace there.... Or at least.. It thinks its safe."

Sonic awoke his vision hazy as he waved his fingerless gloves
before his eyes. Soon the blue of his hand came into focus along
with everything else as all the small details around him flooded
into his line of sight. Sonic placed a hand on his head totally
unaware he'd been out for a total of three days. His head was
aching as he heard a voice he was hoping was just a figment of a
bad dream. placing a hand over his eye Sonic closed the other
wanting his headache to pass. "Tone it down fatass. I'm still
sleeping off whatever you drugged me with."
As Eggman went on and on Sonic got angrier and angrier. Sonic's
entire body begun to vibrate at high speeds. He rushed towards
the barrier and his body became solid failing to phase through.
Sonic fell back surprised looking at his hands. "How.....I...."
He was utterly flawed an object he couldn't phase through. After
collecting his wits he took a good look around. "Okay let's see.
Special cell.....a fancy metal I can't break and a forcefield."
Sonic said tapping on the hard walls with his knuckles. Sonic
looked down and his expression fell to a really unimpressed one
as he saw the bubbling acid pit. "I knew you were a super
villain. Nobody else has these things." Sonic let out a sigh of
relief now seeming calm and collected.
"I knew you were evil. Oh that's a real load off my mind. For a
moment there you even had me fooled." Sonic leaned against the
glass very relaxed cracking his neck and rolling his shoulder
joints. "Okay sunny side now were on my turf. See I'm a hero so
I fry eggs like you for breakfast everyday. Now I know your
batting for the losing team I don't have to hold back when I
cook your bacon." Sonic had a smug smile as he asked. "See what
I did there? Eggs Bacon?"

"Oh so you finally put the pieces together. Yes.. You could
consider me evil. But I like to think of this as a game. You
see I am Robotnik. Dr. Ivo Robotnic. At least of my own
dimension. I came to Mobius to conquer another planet. The one
I've already conquered is fine and dandy but having nothing to
challenge me is rather dull. That's when I found you." He
smiled. " Your counterpart here was a pain.. But no where near
as fast as you are. He could hardly even run at the speed of
sound. But you... You can run at the speed of light. A True
Challenge to me..."
He stroked his mustache. " If you believed I was a hero... then
I'm a far better actor than I thought." He chuckled to himself.
He however frowned at Sonic's joke and rolled his eyes ." Oh
yes, so very funny. I haven't heard that one before." He said
sarcastically.
He shook his head. "I've captured you for a few reasons, but
none of them are to kill you. Hence why I'm going to treat you
so nicely. After all you are a VIP here." He stroked his
mustache. " I already took scans of your Bio Signature, but I
need to take a Bio Imprint of your Brain if I am to make the
Perfect Rival to you. As I am now I can't match your speed.
But When I finish my Hyper Metal Sonic... well. You'll finally
have someone who can match your speed, perhaps even surpass it."
He lowered his Gaze to the Hedgehog's level. " Think about it
sonic. Robotniks robots are nothing to you. Robotnik himself
stands no chance against you... Not even his Poor excuse for a
metal sonic can come up against you. You haven't had a true
good fight in a long time. I can offer you that. So I'll make
a deal with you. Allow me the bio scans, and run on that little
tread Mill of yours, and when Metal Sonic is complete... I'll
return you to Mobius. Even let you be a hero again." He smiled
wider. "We'll have a battle so large the whole Planet will
watch! I'll reveal myself to be the villain I am, And even
Clear your name of your wrong doings, saying that I doctored the
footage. You get all the love and admiration you crave." He
narrowed his eyes. " And I get a real Enemy worth my time."

"I gotta give you points. You came all the way from another
dimension just to make this shindig happen. You're right about
that. I haven't had a real fight in a long time. Everything is
just so easy now. it's lost that spice and I think you feel the
same way. So a battle on a grand scale and my world is the stage
huh? Okay I'll play along. I'll run on you're treadmill but
you're not getting inside my head." Sonic said tapping his
finger against his skull.
"You can say this is about your expertise with robotics and my
speed as much as you like but you and I both know this is a
battle of brains. If your not full of hot air I'm to believe you
have the brightest brain in the world and I have the fastest. I
can make decisions and cunning plans in mere nanoseconds. How
else do you think I avoid killing myself by hitting walls when I
hit wrap speed? Nobody else's mind can process things as quickly
as I can. I'm not sure if it's natural instinct or years of
training but our clash is all up here." He said tapping his
head.
"If I let you scan my head there goes all the secrets and again
you'll be left with a foe you can anticipate and everything will
be boring. So heres what I suggest. Pilot your robotic
dopplegangster remotely. Show me you are smart enough to keep up
with me without a blueprint to my mind." Sonic smiled this was
something he'd been waiting for, for a long time. He pulled
tight the straps on his leather gloves and stood forward
extending his hand as if waiting for Eggman to take it.

His face turned to that of a frown, clearly not liking being
told no. He narrowed his eyes before that smile returned. He
stood up straighter before speaking.
"I thought you might say no. Which is why I was going to scan
you one way or another... You can't stop it. But Now I'm just
going to make it painful for you. Don't take my civility
towards this situation as me being Kind for anything. Merely
part of the plan." He'd push a button on his arm as the top of
the cage opened, revealing a robotic eye just above the shield.
"I would of liked to of made this go painfree but now I see I
have to show you that I am not playing..."
The walls, floor, and treadmill of the obsidian cage
electrified. Should sonic touch anything he would be given an
extremely painful shock. "Know this Hedgehog. I always get
what I want..." The Machine above would begin to scan him. "And
what I want to to rule your world. I will win eventually. And
if you don't bow to my rule... Then you'll be killed like the
Vermin you are." His eyes Narrowed. " I however am kinder than
Robotnik to a fault. I wont take your peoples free will away.
I wont turn you to robots whom do my bidding. I will rule your
world like a true Tyrant. But any spark of Rebellion will be
quelled as I see fit. Even if that means I must break a few
necks, or dirty my hand with pest control."
He chuckled softly as the scan finished. " I will make your
ultimate rival." He turned, begining to head away. "Scratch and
Grounder will be in soon with your meal. They will be your
wardens until Hyper Metal Sonic is ready. Until then... Enjoy
your five star vacation in Mobius X's Orbit."

Sonic was forced to his knees as the powerful electrical current
shot through his body. Ge grit his teeth and clenched his
fingers tight as his spines stood on end and started to smoke.
He looked up powering through the pain. His voice was hurt and
harsh as he struggled to get each word out. "Okay so I mistook a
rivalry for a hostile takeover. Then this changes everything.
You want to take over my world I'll give you a war." Sonic stood
fighting against the current running through his body. He walked
over and begun to bang on the glass.
"You'll regret messing with me! You also underestimated the
people of Mobius they'll fight you even without me! This'll end
the same you for you as it did Robotnik! No matter what world
it's on in any reality I'll always be here to stand against your
tyranny." Sonic closed his eyes taking a deep breath focusing on
his insides. He isolated the electrical current and vibrated his
body at the same frequency. Sonic's image became distorted and
blurry as it flickered in and out of existence. He pointed his
fingers up and redirected the the bolt of lighting skyward. The
massive surge of lighting would hit the scanner shaped like an
eye. The massive surge in power would shut down the electrified
feature of the cage if only momentarily however damage to the
scanner was unknown. Sonic smiled still standing if only by the
power of his will alone. "I can cause plenty of trouble for you
even in here." He had a look in his eyes that resembled a raging
fire displaying his fighting spirit.

Eggman stopped and looked back. He smiled. "Oh no If this was
a hostile take over... you'd be dead." He said. He turned. "
Think of it as a game. If I lose I'll leave your Planet alone.
I'll go find another dimension to conquer. If I win... well.
You already know." He chuckled to himself. "As for your
friends and the other Mobians. I know. I've already tested
them. Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic have been quite informative
about the situation. I know their strengths, and thanks to
robotniks information both before and after the reboot of the
dimension I know all your weaknesses."
He watched Sonic use the electricity as a weapon before eggman
threw his head back and began laughing. " Damaging small things
wont do you any good." He motioned to the scanner, which seemed
to of only temporarily shut down. "If that thing is destroyed,
or anything in this room. You drop. Ten feet straight down like
a brick into a vat of some of the strongest acid in the known
universe." He sighed and shook his head. " This game is only
just beginning hedgehog. You've put all your pieces on the
Board.... But I have not. I'll give you this to think about.
What have I done that Robotnik hasn't?"
He turned away. " The answer is simple, and will make you
understand just how dangerous I am." With that Eggman left,
walking out the door, as a Green Robot with drills for hands,
and a chicken themed Robot came into the room.
"Ha-HA ha-HA!" Let out Scratch. " Its been a while hasn't it
Sonic?"
"Yeah!" Said Grounder. "Eggman found us and fixed us up after
Robotnik trashed us!"
Cubot and Orbot were watching from the door way.
"Why would Robotnik build such annoying robots?" asked Orbot.
"I dunno Orbot. Good thing Dr. Eggman doesn't build such stupid
robots!" said Cubot.
Orbot stared at Cubot before realizing something. He sighed and
face palmed, before he and cubot headed off after Eggman.

"Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic? what are ya obsessed with me?
can't even think up any half decent designs unless they revolve
around me." He shouted to the scientist as he left. Sonic's eyes
shot wide open as he received a blast from the past. "He took
the time out to put you relics back together? Geez he must be
desperate." A smug smile crawled across the hedgehog's face as
he remembered how stupid they were. "I've been able to trick
these tin cans into letting me out before." He told himself as
he got ready to put his acting classes to use. "Yep you sure
showed me. I don't know why Ol Robuttnik tossed you out when
Egghead here is trusting you with something really important.
Say how would you guys like to impress the man who put you back
together?"
