Anton was in the process of rechambering when he looked up and
saw what had happened, actually leaving him speechless for a
short moment.
"Well... this might complicate things slightly," he muttered as
he got back up and relocated, "what now, what now?"
The bullet had damaged the thruster, but he doubted it was going
to matter now... it had to be put down. He was nervous though,
judging on how the rest reacted to the energy, himself included,
he could guess it probably had its armor enhanced. He took a
snapshot at the head of the robot, wanting to test it strength.
This was a team effort, they couldn't do it on their own.

New reinforcements arrived in the form of Soul the Hedgehog. An
ally he teamed up with in the past and right now he was grateful
for him to lend a helping hand. While Ty manages to distract him
with his new found powers both him and Anton struck its engine
causing it to shut down momentarily. Just as he suspected..the
only way to do any real damage was striking its vulnerable spot.
Ironic considering the super soldier himself was the decoy and
the others were the one to stop it.
It would seem like it was a time to celebrate their
victory..unaware the heroes are about to get a surprise they
weren't prepared for. His opponent stood back up and displayed a
pattern of blue and gold before it was engulfed in a beam of
light. Ty's expression was met was shock and awe.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300]"No way..Impossible!"[/glow] The
situation has taken a turn for the worst. It was true Mecha
Sonic was modeled after the original hedgehog but he never
thought a robot can even achieve a super form utilizing the
energy of chaos. He originally believed it was something only
organics are exclusively capable of doing. How can the gang
defeat it now? He is currently faster, and stronger than
before..and he was already proven to be tough to begin with.
He frowns with determination believing not all hope is lost..if
his opponent can use the energy..then so can he! its time to
fight fire with fire![glow=lightskyblue,2,300]"He may be a lot
more powerful than he was before..but I wont give up!
The only way to beat him now is to take advantage of the
radiation around us.-Cough- We continue to strike at his weak
spot until he is down for the count.."[/glow]he has almost
forgotten about his declining health..too much exposure can kill
them all at anytime.
He ice skates towards Mecha Sonic in a flanking maneuver to
avoid taking a risk with just charging him head on. Surprisingly
he could feel his body move alot faster than before due to the
chaos energy..any more speed then he would tripped on his own
ice. While swerving around to face his turbo engine he makes a
leap backwards as he charges up liquid nitrogen particles within
his hands then fires a large small volley of homing ice shards
attempting to inflict some offensive damage.

Anton had only taken in a little bit of the radiation and seeing
as he was an ordinary mobian, not a super soldier or had any
special powers, he was already starting to show symptoms as
well.
"What are you crazy?!" he exclaimed before realizing he had
given his position away, "This... this is lethal stuff!"
He started to cough, but managed to stop and steady his aim
again. Then he moved again, trying to get closer to the
hedgewolf and then into cover.
Inside he was nervous... what would happen to him if he absorbed
more? The uncertainty was what kept him from doing it.
"Are you okay?" he asked as he placed himself against a stone
next to Ty, "do we need to swap strategies?"

The chaos embued Robot turned its head slowly to look at Ty and
Anton. Anton's shot would hit, but the bullet itself would
evaporate upon contact. A golden aura appeared around the Robot
before it locked onto Ty. It would move back Away from ty.
Those shards, while homing, would melt when coming in contact
with that Aura. The droid skidded to a hault before rolling
into a ball. It began to spin up a spindash, as it gathered
energy, before shooting off like a rocket Towards Ty, its spines
rotating like blades. Hit or miss it would land behind Ty
before getting up and facing Anton. Its chest opened up again as
another chaos Sphere crackled into existance. It fired off
towards him, detonating when it was close enough. If Anton
didn't move he'd be utterly vaporized. The battle was taking a
great toll on the forest. They could keep fighting, but they
risk even more destruction to the area. Perhaps a retreat was
in order.

He jumps and flips outta the way before he was squashed into an
icy puddle. So he can use the spin dash as well..not surprising
since almost everyone knows how to use it. Aside from that it
looks like their golden friend is preparing to strike Anton with
another unstable sphere of energy. History is going to repeat
itself if he doesn't do something about it fast.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300]"Not this time.."[/glow] he quickly
pulls out a single Portal Grenade..the same one used against his
brother when they meet for the first time in years. He only has
a short amount of seconds to throw it at the energy sphere
otherwise it would detonate early due to the unstable chaos
energy. Perhaps the robot has a limit to how much chaos energy
he can absorb so perhaps it would overload it circuits for
absorbing too much radiation..he will just have to execute this
strategy to find out.
[I hope this works..] he throws the grenade hard it enough for
it to fly it into the energy sphere so the tiny wormhole can
suck the projectile inside once again saving Anton's life.
Another wormhole opens up above Super Mecha Sonic dropping the
sphere attempting to crash on its head hoping to critically
damage it with its own attack.

'So much destruction... so much has changed... The Viral
Infection has spread exponentially - beyond my predictions!' the
robot thought as she bared witness to just how quickly the
events were unfolding. Then the super forms came along, this was
becoming too much now for the once-dormant synthetic dolphin.
It was then Ranata shot off like a rocket, a speed that was
totally unexpected coming from a robot that had only been seen
floating ever so casually everywhere it went. Nowhere near the
super speed Sonic or synthetic Sonics were capable of doing at
their best, but it was still rather impressive. As she flew
through the air, whilst maintaining a constant three metre
distance off from the ground as she went, her movements imitated
an organic dolphin when it swam rapidly along the surface of the
ocean and leapt out of it many times. With the final bound she
shot vertically upwards, until she was able to hover at
eye-level with Mecha Sonic; placing herself between the
danger-detonation-zone and the others - as well as all the
wormholes.
[font=courier]"STOP! CEASE! DESIST!"[/font] her voice boomed
while the occasional spark zapped from somewhere within her
brain, [font=courier]"Who sent you here?! Who are you?! These
procedures are utterly unorthodox and
counter-productive!"[/font]

way!"[/glow] he cried out. He doesn't want to bear witness to a
robot he considered to be a real mobian destroyed before his
very eyes.

Mecha Sonic's head swivelled quickly to the side as its shot
went off, watching the grenade suck away the blast. It had a
few seconds to Calculate, only for Ranata to get in the way.
Its mind when into over drive.
[font=arial]
>Non-Organic in Combat Zone.
>Not Dr. Eggmans.
>Directive Unclear.
>Destroy? Y/N?
>N...
>Not Organic. No threat to Dr.Eggman.
>Danger Imminent. Chaos energy approaching at high speeds.
>Action Responce...
>Defend. Protect Non Organic Life.
>Execute.[/font]
All of this was done in its mind in a split second. As the
Portal Opened above Ranata The droid quickly grabbed the Dolphin
Robot before Pulling it under itself. It thrust it's back
upwards, as the Chaos Bolt came down on its back causing a
Violent explosion of light. As the Smoke Settled They would
find Mecha Sonic crouched over Ranata, Its back blown open and
badly damaged Its gold hue returned to Blue as it's back began
to spark and a fire ignited in its back. The Machine slowly got
to its feet, One of its arms falling to pieces as it did so.
[font=arial]>Warning Critical damage to all systems.
>Purge Time Ring?
>...
>Purging activated. Back-up power initiated.

A white ring would shoot from the back of the machine. The very
Item Pulsing with Chaos energy, not unlike that of a chaos
Emerald, however it would vanish shortly after, being teleported
back to one of Eggman's holding cells.
Mecha Sonic stood there, sparking and smoking. They had the
chance to attack and destroy it Permanently!
It however just stood there, not fighting. Its eye moved to
focus on Ranata Before speaking.[font=arial] "Robotnik."[/font]
It spoke.[font=arial] " Designation: Mecha Sonic. Build Number:
SSMK2."[/font] It turned its head to look back at the
others.[font=arial] " Prime Directive: Locate and destroy
target, G.U.N. Agent Ty, and Relative Blaze. Secondary
Objective: Total Annihilation of Forest Zone."[/font]

Anton took several steps back as Mecha Sonic shoot pasthim as it
went after Ty faster than he could react. That wasn't the worst
part for him though, it was when he found himself starring down
the robot as it charged another death beam.
He tried to scrable, but tripped over his own legs in panic and
found himself trying to get up. He panicked, this was too much,
he had to get out and it had to be now! He saw Ty try to save
him and quickly found himself crawling along the ground to try
and get up, yet his rush prevented him from getting a proper
foothold. He did eventually get up and threw himself out of the
way, looking back to see R.A.N.A.T.A being right up there with
the sonic robot.
"Get clear, you fool!" he yelled at the robot as he got back up
and saw what was about to happen, "let go off him and run god
dammit!!"
He was about to whip out his rifle when he realized he had
dropped it in his haste. To his horror, it was right in the
firing line. He couldn't get it now, he had to leave it behind
as much as it pained him to do so.
That was when he saw the chaos beam consume the two robots, it
was too late. Then he saw that Mecha Sonic had defended
R.A.N.A.T.A from the blast, crippling the machine and rendering
him vurnarable.
Anton wasn't going to waste the chance, he got up and ran over
for the rifle, picked it up and pointed it straight at Mecha
Sonic's face.
"Come on, we end this right here, right now!" he called to Ty as
he tried to pull the trigger, but actually found himself
hesitating slightly.

Again with her robotic voice sounding montone and void of
emotion, it was clear by her body language that it should have
sounded like one of complete and utter horror. She then pushed
forward to place herself between the organics and Mecha Sonic
once more. Her head started to twitch far more violently and her
lights flickered and faltered frequently after seeing the damage
being done.
'The Virus...'
Ranata looked to him again, [font=courier]"SSMK2. Analysis
inconclusive. For what purpose will the deaths of these organics
serve?" [/font]
She then looked over to the others and shouted,
[font=courier]"LOWER YOUR WEAPONS AND ALL DESTRUCTIVE-PURPOSE
METHODOLOGIES! NOW."[/font]
