       Mallow had been watching as best he could as the two hedgehogs
       became blurs in the streets. Surprisingly, it was over a lot
       sooner than he expected but he figured Sonic had become bored
       with the newcomer and went to find something more entertaining
       to do. This was his assumption as the blue blur rocketed out of
       the city. Mallow had to nurse his ears when Sonic broke the
       sound barrier. That had been very loud. He was still trying to
       get his ears to stop ringing when the growl of the black
       hedgehog made him jump 10 feet in the air and faced the other
       mobian.
       The rabbit's poor heart was still trying to escape his chest
       through his rib cage when his feet were back on the ground. His
       red eyes were wide as he stared at the dark figure, taking in
       every detail of the hedgehog's physique, and his mouth opened to
       reply but he seemed to be at a loss for words. There was a pause
       and licked his lips then took deep breath to stop his heart from
       skipping so many beats.
       "I-I," He tried to begin and shook his head to make a sentence
       form. "I'm Mallow, I'm no one important, I mean I am important,
       to myself anyways, I like to think I'm important. I'm a dancer.
       Ballet. I mean I do other dances but ballet is my professional
       choice.” He reached behind his head and tugged at a long ear
       nervously as he kept babbling. “I was just looking- Sorry, you
       just said that- I mean, I'm not sorry I was watching... You have
       a nice form... your movements are very graceful. And as a dancer
       I had to admire that." He stopped talking then look up at the
       black and red hedgehog then waved. "Hi." He finally stopped
       talking and let the awkward silence play out as he tried to
       figure what just happened.
       He couldn't figure it out. He never acted like this! Well, this
       wasn't true, he had his share of hero worship when he was young,
       but this was somewhat different than his fanboy-gasms he would
       experience long ago for a certain blue hedgehog.
       He watched the other mobian for his reaction to the rabbit's
       embarrassing behavior, and felt his white cheeks heat up in
       mortification.

       Mallow fidgeted, he felt like a moron. Emotions he didn't know
       how to deal with were making him look absolutely ridiculous in
       front of this handsome hedgehog. So to save what was left of his
       dignity, he opted for a quick exit. "I'm sorry. Please, excuse
       me!" He said quickly and rather loudly in a flustered gesture,
       then jumped off the building to his destination in a series of
       roof leaps at his fastest speed. He placed a hand over his
       beating heart and whined. "Be still my beating heart."
