Death Destruction Devastation

Dr. Robotnik had just leveled an entire city block with his
newfound power. The cityscape behind him went down in flames as
people fled and screamed for their lives. The foul overlander
smiled enjoying the carnage the chaos emeralds allowed him to
cause. A small fox girl ran by Robotnik screaming for her
mother. [shadow=red,left]"You miss your dearly departed mother?
Ahh yes I believe she was my first victim of the day. Allow me
to send you to join her."[/shadow] He picked up the tiny girl
wrapping his metal fingers around her head. She kicked and
screamed so desperately trying to get away. Robotnik held the
child to his ear and listened savoring the
screams.[shadow=red,left] "Ahhh like sweet symphony."
[/shadow]He said as he started salivating drool dribbled down
his chin. It seems the good doctor somewhat got off to the
suffering of others. After enjoying the sounds for a moment he
clenched his fist shut crushing her skull. He dropped the ragged
corpse to the floor along with the mush that remained of her
brain and bone fragments.[shadow=red,left] "Ohhh yes....YESSSS
YESS!"[/shadow] Gone mad with power he snatched up another
mobien and tore them in two over his head. The power of the
chaos emeralds had turned the vile tyrant into an unstoppable
murder machine.

Sonic blasted onto the scene of destruction everywhere we looked
was soaked in blood and death. He honestly wasn't surprised this
was Robotnik's doing. He stared up at the devilish figure
towering over him while his eyes burned like the fires of hell
within a black void. Sonic looked around for any sign of
assistance and failed to find any. "No SWATbots....No buzz
bombers? How did you do this by yourself?" Sonic asked his brain
utterly flawed by the idea Robotnik was this powerful.

With a great gasp of Robotnik raised his mechanical arm skyward.
Three circular slots opened revealing the chaos emeralds he had
obtained. They shimmered brilliantly in the moonlight
[shadow=red,left]"Chaos Emeralds Son! With them I will ensure my
victory. Take a good long look hedgehog at the instrument of
your defeat." [/shadow]He walked forward displaying the diamonds
to mock Sonic.

Sonic took advantage of Robotnik's arrogance by speed snatching
the emeralds while they were out in the open. He ripped them
from the open sockets as wires sprayed sparks flailing wildly.
Robotnik recoiled having had his trump card snatched away from
him. Sonic smiled spinning around at hyper speeds letting
several sonic booms escape his vortex. Two of the chaos stones
went flying into the air escaping the atmosphere as they begun
to float away into space. He took the final gem and dropped it
to the ground crushing it under foot. He smashed his sneaker
down hard at light speed with enough force behind it to crush
the godlike object. Sonic watched the chaotic energy dissipate
into the breeze as his c,ocky expression turned serious.

Robotnik's jaw dropped such power was within his grasp only for
it to be snatched away. [shadow=red,left]"WHAT!? This can't be
happening. You fool what have you done?"[/shadow] As his enemy
marched toward his he got on his knees and clasped his hands
together begging for mercy. [shadow=red,left]"You are right dear
boy. Lock me away. I deserve to pay for my crimes. I surrender
no need to hurt me." [/shadow]

Sonic looked past all the corpses and destruction Robotnik had
left in his wake and replied swiftly and simply. "You're beaten.
You're not worth it. Get out of here before I change my mind."
He said looking down to the groveling scientist. Robotnik took
this chance and retreated Via an aircraft extraction he called
in mere seconds ago. Watching Robotnik take to the skies to flew
the hero let out a cold breath of air and told himself. "Someday
somebody will ask why I never bring him in."
