Merely a Setback (One Off) (Dr. Eggman)

A singularity. Something Eggman hadn't accounted for at all.
It happened so fast that he had no time to truly react. He, His
forces, their equipment and Eggman land. All of it was flung
out of Mobius Prime, and right back into Mobius X. After the
Universe essentially reset itself there was no place for him or
his army. He stared at his ships Monitor and let out an angry
curse as he slammed his fist down on the Console.
"Just a few more weeks and the Death Egg 2.0 would have been
ready for Deployment!" He shouted, enraged that his plans had
been set back. HE got up quickly from his seat. " NO doubt this
was the work of that Idiot Sonic...."
Eggman was silent for Several moments before he sighed. " I
suppose it can't be helped. Controlling Quantum Mechanics and
time and space are currently beyond me. There was nothing I
could of done to stop that singularity in the first place." He
turned to Orbot and Cubot, who quickly saluted him. "Orbot.
Begin scanning for other dimensions with the Warp Rings."
"Yes sir, Doctor Eggman." Said Orbot, whom would fly off to get
to work. Eggman then turned his head to Cubot. He glared for a
moment as he thought of something for the square defect to do.
"Cubot.... Go clean the bathroom. Its a mess." He said.
Cubot let out a groan before floating out of the room, grabbing
a mop and bucket on his way out. Eggman chuckled then took a
seat back in his chair. "To think.. everything was going so
smoothly.... We even finished the Prototype for the action
figures..." He flicked a piece of dust off his chair before
something on his console caught his eye. He turned his head to
the Screen. Mobius Prime came out of the singularity Unharmed.
Eggman blinked, completely Flabbergasted by this revelation. "
I-Impossible! That was a singularity! It should of destroyed
everything!.... Unless..." He brought his gloved hand up to his
chin. " Unless it wasn't a singularity, but instead a Resonance
cascade.... Yes a resonance cascade... The universe was
simultaneously destroyed and rebuilt in that single moment..."
The smile on Eggman's face grew slowly, quickly becoming a
sinister Grin. He brought a hand up, gently stroking his
Mustache. " ORBOT!" He called. " Forget the scans! The Invasion
is back on." He chuckled to himself. " Tell all the ships full
throttle and cloaking devices. We're going back..." Orbot
saluted in silence and began quickly typing on the console.
Eggman stood up slowly and pointed at the ring as his fleet
began to Move through it once more. Eggman began to laugh. It
started out as a slow chortle, before building up to insane
cackling as his ships converged through the Portal. The great
ring would be unseen, as it appeared behind Mobius Prime's Moon.
"Watch out Mobius." Eggman Spoke. "Your world will soon belong
to me..."
With that said, the badniks got straight to work on the darkside
of the moon, once again trying to convert the Moon into the
Death Egg 2.0
