Why we closed down.
Hey Guys Andrew here :D It's been a while since I decided to
close down Sonic Spotlight for good. The original story I felt
ended nicely with each character going their own way. Now I
originally ended the story due to the fact managing this site
and story proved difficult along with trying to work on my comic
book. With the world of my comic created and script for the
first issue finally done I can resume casual roleplay. I've also
come up with a nice in between that will allow me to RP while
not interfering with my creative goals of becoming a comic book
writer. From now on whenever I have a new issue to write I'll
drop all RP until the issue is done. During this time you guys
can still all RP, Sonic & Robotnik will just be inactive.
Why we are starting back up
After seeing the splinter groups created from Spotlights ending
not have much momentum I got to thinking. It's not great that
there's no single place people can gather for all their Sonic RP
related needs. So I'm opening Sonic Spotlight back up for public
use :D You guys will be free to use all the sites features and
create a continuous canon right here.
So What now?
To begin with we'll be rebooting the continuity. The new canon
will be largely like the classical Spotlight setting only with a
fresh slate. With this start over each character will have a
clean slate and a fresh start. Feel free to reinvent your
character how you see fit or find a new angle for them. Remember
creativity is encouraged here. Again I will be running arcs and
coming up with exciting stories for you guys to enjoy and take
part in. Overall we will have a more relaxed take on SS in
general as I'm aware situations from problem users in the past
have caused some members an annoyance. So this is going to be a
fun and relaxed place this a kicka,ss story. Stess and drama
will not be tolerated here. With that said let's get this party
started see you on Mobius.
