Robotnik's Reign: Long May he Rule.

As the resistance was steadily making progress gaining ground
Robotnik was displeased. The new weapons the Freedom Fighters
procured had given the royal gaurd a chance against the
SWATbots. He watched as he rapidly lost territory and robots as
the minuets ticked by. With a look of disgust he rises up from
his large seat and stomps down a dark hallway.
[shadow=red,left]"Prepare the SWATnik."[/shadow] He uttered as
the voice automated system prepared his mech for take off. He
climbed into his black behemoth slipping his fingers into the
command gloves and boots. The systems booted up as the head of
the mech closed and the golden power ring at the power-suit's
core spun rapidly. The ring provided the suit with a surge of
golden power as the hatch opened. Soon the thrusters ignited
from the feet as the iron giant blasted off into the sky.
Suddenly the roof was torn off the Freedom Fighter HQ by
Robotnik and his massive machine. Robotnik glares as his
frightening voice echos booming loudly for all to hear. His tone
was vile and his intentions violent. [shadow=red,left]"I'm sick
of you Hedgehog. Before to day is done I'll kill you and all who
stand beside you. You know I've always wanted to roboticize you
hedgehog but I'm not without mercy. That's why I'm going to send
you to meet your dearly departed brother. If nothing else you
have been a most worthy adversary. Farewell rodent."[/shadow]
Robotnik pulled his arm back as from the elbow down started to
transform. The left arm of the mech was now a giant hand canon.
Metal rods flick out of the side and start pulsing yellow
lightning. The engine charges as the golden ring at the center
of the machine spins faster and faster proving power. Then a
devastating golden beam flashed forward with a loud BRRRRRRR
destroying all in it's path. This canon was harnessing the true
potential of a power ring and would take apart anything it
touches.
(This beam will kill anybody instantly unless they are in super
mode. So please wait for Sapphire to come strut her stuff.)

Robotnik wouldn't get to destroy very much for very long however
with his golden beam of death, as the golden glowing figure of
Sapphire was more then ready to help put a stop to his reign of
terror.
Something small golden and bright flew right in front of
Robotnik's yellow beam and with a flash made a shield of seven
different colours against the beam. Super Sapphire stood right
in front of Robotnik's beam with her arms out in front of her,
stretched out to form a rather rainbow coloured shield,
deflecting Robotnik's death beam of gold.
She then started to push it forwards, getting herself closer and
closer to Robotnik, hitting his own beam right back at him with
the power she'd absorbed with the chaos emeralds.
"[glow=royalblue,2,300]It's over for you doctor[/glow]" She said
in her powerful state and tone, floating firmly above the ground
in front of Robotnik's suit, about eye level with the mad man.
She held her arms down by her sides after having shot Robotnik's
beam back at his own robot, ready to pick them up again if she
needed "[glow=royalblue,2,300]If you want to hurt my friends and
family-[/glow]" She said, a frown appearing on her golden face,
her burning red eyes flashing, "[glow=royalblue,2,300]You're
going to have to go through me first 'Buttnik, show me what
you've got[/glow]" She said with a confident smile and stance,
she was ready for anything he had to throw her way! She wouldn't
let her friends down!

Looking like she was someone out of 'Sonic Boom', the tiger
ninja leaped down from behind; at a higher stand point (away
from the others) with her arms, legs, feet and hands wrapped up
in bandages . Landing squarely on Robotnik's back. As quick as
anything, a sharp, unraveling sound of wire, coated in a much
harder substance - reinforced diamond coating to be exact -
sounded as a long, sleek chain appeared before the Overworlder's
face. In an instant, Karahl twisted the ends about her hands and
pulled, slinging the chain at Robotnik's neck. The force made
him look up, to find a monstrous tiger with unforgiving eyes,
baring an array of saber teeth, dripping with saliva as she
roared with great intensity at his face.
"YOU HAVE CROSSED THE LINE LONG AGO ROBOTNIK!" she boomed, "I
HAD COME HOME TO PREPARE, ONLY TO FIND THAT MY BROTHER WAS
MISSING THEN LATER FOUND HIS REMAINS AMONG THE OTHER CHILDREN
YOU HAD BURNT IN PUBLIC!"
She tightened the chain, attempting to choke the life out of
him.
"GO TO HEL'L! IN FACT! I'LL SEND YOU THERE MYSELF!"
((Since this is the closing of Spotlight, I figured that this
was the best opportunity to try this. Always wanted to RP what
Karahl would be like should her dearest baby brother die. Ta ta
Kyro... his death been taken from the introductory extract:

Messerschmitt passed over the area, inverting the Tornado III to
get a good lock of the battlefield.
The good news was that Robotnik's super weapon was destroyed and
he wouldn't have to worry about its AA armament trying to pound
him out of the sky.
Bad news was that he could execute a ground strike, with Karahl
on top of the doctor the risk of hr getting caught in anything
he did would be unavoidable. Though he did understand her anger,
they had all suffered in this conflict and now, with the
doctor's super weapon gone, revenge was likely running deep in
everyone.
He did have one concern, with him serving in the air force he
answered to the royal house first and foremost. This was even
more apparent now with the command cast dead. If Sally or the
queen wanted him to bomb out the doctor he could object, but
they would hold final say in the end.
Guntram corrected the plane and took her back to altitude, he
had to remain aware of the sky. Robotnik might be on the ground
but it was likely that he had some trick his sleeve. Whether it
was airborne and trying to claim air superiority or additional
ground forces, he would be ready.
Although he kept his eyes scanning the sky as that was the
biggest threat to himself.
He tuned his radio to the resistance fighters' frequency and
made his report.
"With Karahl in such a close proximity to the doctor, any kind
of airborne ground strike would be liable to kill her as well,"
he said, making the obvious risks clear, "i'll try to retain air
superiority for now, call if you need me, out."

The beam reflected creating particles of brilliant light that
boomeranged and fired towards it's power source. It soon
collided with the metal monster and started to erode away the
weapon panel by panel. Because the canon was fired at full power
the ring transferring it's energy to the attack overloaded and
the battle suits circuits soon followed. All systems were
failing and what was left of the robot was quickly melting away
in a golden shock wave. Knowing his greatest creation would soon
fall the man of metal decided to quickly eject as it was
obliterated by Sapphire's interference. After hitting the
ground the was caught of guard as the black and white savage
beast tried to crush the life from him until he ceased to draw
breath. He made choking and chortling noises trying to reach
behind him.

Sonic wasn't going to let Karahl ruin everything they had fought
for, he'd already watched her take one life today he wasn't
going to see another. He reached for the canon on the diner
table and placed it over his shoulder. He closed one eye and
took aim pulling the trigger. Suddenly an electrified net was
sent flying towards Karahl. The projectile knocked the tiger
from the overlander's back while it bound her to the ground
while administering an electric shock. Robotnik gasped for air
as he was now free falling to the ground sucking in oxygen.
Sonic dropped the non lethal weapon and walked over to Karahl
looking down at her. "Is that your solution to everything?" He
asked looking a mix between annoyed and disappointed.

The tiger let out a sharp yowl as she was thrown off the
Overworlder and after the weapon had been dropped she staggered
to her feet, teeth gritted. Still bent on the fury and utter
denial that the bouncing toddler cub had been met with a slow,
agonizing and untimely demise she rounded at Sonic, "No it is
not but it is the just solution! Locking him up won't do any
good, he will just get out again - as he did the last two times
before and kill and Robotosize more Mobians than before. So what
now hero? Are you just going to wait around until he breaks out
again, just for kicks?"
The ninja shook her head, tears finally starting to stream out
as she starts to come to terms with what has happened and she
turned her back on him, "You know what. I'm done here. I'm sick
of this place. I should have moved on a long time ago, just as
my clan have never stayed in once place for a long period at a
time. Maybe you can find solace in looking at that disgusting
behemoth through those iron bars. Maybe seeing him locked up
will help you sleep at night with the thoughts that as long as
he is in bars it's completely fine!" she remarked sarcastically,
"Hero, how can you call yourself that when you let Robotnik kill
your brother. You let Robotnik kill my brother. And now, you are
letting Robotnik live so that he can kill someone else's brother
too. Well done."
Before departing she clapped her hands in sarcastic celebration,
walking off. She had enough.

He stood there armed with a lazer fueled sniper rifle retrieved
from one of the stash of weopons they were supposed to secure
for the princess. He took position and quietly aims his weopon
at the chest of the Overlander struggling to not let his
overwelming fury and anger for get the better of him. His
fingers are trembling..his teeth baring its fangs and a low
growl escaped from his mouth..just by looking at the horrible
dictator made his blood boil.
"Time to cleanse this world from this wretched demon..goodnight
Robotnik..." he growed underneath his breath then slowly pulls
the trigger. What stopped him from firing the weopon was a
golden beam of light appearing from one of the battle suits hand
cannons causing a sever amount of destruction and property
damage..killing off any remaining mothers
fathers..chidrens..pets..you name it.
His eyes widen and his mouth gap in shock trying to process what
just happened..the only thing he could think of was that it was
the end of mobotropolis as we know it..he helplessly dropped his
weopon and fall to his knees witnessing the giant lazer vaporize
anything that it touches.
"I..I failed!...I was too late in taking the shot!!..im sorry
everyone..." he punches the ground yelling in frustration not
even caring if the lazer was going to swollowing him hole if he
didnt scramble to safety.
Suddently a bright golden light appeared before him blurring the
hybrids vision..what happenes next is remarkable as the metal
behemouth was hit with its own attack then it was destroyed in
the process...who could have done that?.
"Wha...who?" he lowers his arm gazing the mysterious figure who
revealed herself to be Sapphire..the daughter of Sonic and
Amy..empowered by the chaos emeralds achieving a super state.
How did she find them is unknow but it didnt matter to him..now
they all have a fighting chance against the seemingly invincible
robot.
"Sapphire.." he looks at her in awe..noting just how powerful
she was and how strong willed she seems to be...clearly she
inherits her fathers courage and bravery. Out of nowhere Karahl
lands on top of Robotnik squeezing the life out of him in chains
filled with vengence and fury revealing that her brother Kyro
perished upon the innocents who died prematurely in the heat of
it all. Already he felt sympathy for the tiger so he decided to
let her have her revenge.
[Do it sensai..finish it...do it so everyone wont have to suffer
under his rule ever again..and Kyro can rest in peice..] he
thoght to himself rooting for her to finally rid the world of
this vile beast.
Before she can deal the finishing blow Sonic appear to trap her
under an electric net as well as Constance arresting Robotnik to
put him on trial for his crimes. The hybrid has had enough of it
and decided to finally speak out his mind. "NOOO!!! WE COULD
HAVE ENDED IT!!!...WHY DID YOU LET HIM LIVE!!..DONT YOU TWO
REALIZE HOW FOOLISH THAT WAS!!?" he barked at the both of them
with fury gritting his teeth...he couldnt believe this was
happening..after everything they went through Robotnik's
punishment was sitting in a jail cell.
For too long he has ruthlessly taken away lives..turning mobians
into mindless drones..and the only solution to the problem was
to have him sit alone in a cage?..he is starting to question
just how exactly "effeciant" the justice system really is.

Karahl had gone too far this time. Sonic cracked his fingers and
walked over towards her tapping her on the shoulder. He was
finally going to set these people straight. "Don't you dare pin
this on me. You think it's my fault they died? Thats rich coming
from you. Your job description is taking lives mine is saving
them. All you do is kill whomever gets in your way." He shifted
his glare towards TY and shook his head. "In case you forgot I
just pulled a bullet out of you. Your welcome. Don't you lecture
me on whats right and wrong you're almost as bad as her. You'd
be dead if I hadn't been there." With that he curls his fingers
into a fist and utters. "If you...ever...talk about Tails that
way again...." Following that he rammed his fist at speeds of
mach 4 into Karahl's chest.

After seeing everything, Blaze had seen enough to the point he
wanted to end the fat man himself. When Sonic punched Kara,
Blaze leaped at him at lightning speed and sucker punched the
hero out of instinct. " Are you kidding me!? What the hell is
wrong with you?! That man deserves to die for everything he has
done. I might be grateful you saved my brothers life but i will
be damned if i let that fat son of a bi,tch l'll end him myself
if you won't." he stated as one hand was fire and the other was
lihtning. The look Blaze gave was a serious one that he has
never shown.
