Guntram is affiliated with G.U.N as a pilot specializing in
dealing with ground threats and transporting others.
Appearance:
Standing at a height of 167 cm and weighing 75 kilos Guntram is
an athletic built penguin. He is rarely seen without his flight
suit, a backpack or parachute and a 9 mm pistol hanging from his
waist.
The suit bear a G.U.N patch on his left shoulder with his flight
logo on the right shoulder.
For those interested the way to see if he wears a backpack or a
parachute just need to look at his upper legs, if they have a
harness around them then it's a parachute he carries on his
back.
Apart from that he wear jet black combat boots.
Weapon of choice:
Guntram is most proficient with armed aircraft, but those you
can't always use. For ground combat his 9mm pistol is his best
friend.
That being said, he lacks actual experience and the pistol lack
stomping power. Its killing potential has been questioned
several times. Still, the pistol is light and small and that is
what matters.
He is very unskilled in melee and unarmed combat. Therefore he
is searching for a trainer. He does produce some mean slaps
though.
Preferred combat tactic:
Play to your advantages and don't get carried away.
Keep calm and focus. That is how you achieve victory.
Personality:
Guntram is a penguin with a creative and practical mindset. He
likes to fly and that has been in love with aviation since he
was a little kid.
He understands the importance of friends and teamwork and does
his best to make friends. That being said he is prone to take
things very seriously, a simple prank or joke can end up
affecting him in an unexpected way. Thankfully, he is very
forgiving and will forgive the responsible if they apologize.
He know how to keep calm in the heat of battle and is very good
at making snap decisions.
He does however, have a issue with those capable of natural
flight. He is deeply jealous of them and while he can get along
with them just fine he does harbor some negative feelings toward
them.
Backstory:
Guntram was born down south in a penguin colony. Life was decent
in between all the things that needed to be done. If anything
the word boring didn't come to mind. One day he spotted a group
of birds flying over and the thought of flight or "Swimming in
the air" hooked him instantly.
He kept trying and trying but to no avail, he couldn't fly. His
parents explained that he was a flightless bird and that while
he couldn't fly he could swim much better than the flying bird
and was more resistant to the low temperatures.
Guntram wasn't pleased but decided to focus on other thing for
the time being, but his dream of flying never left his heart.
When the family moved to Metropolis he learned of aircraft. That
was what reignited his active interest and his obsession
returned.
After he finished school he signed up with G.U.N air forces and
was sent into training.
It went well, he had a lot of potential and the energy to go the
extra mile to do well. It didn't take long for him to earn his
wings and enter service.
Even then he isn't allowed near the G.U.N Blue Eagle jets or
their fighter jets.
Since he is only a flight officer he lacks the experience and
the training to fly such aircraft. Even if he did have all the
qualifications he wouldn't be allowed as he hasn't served long
enough and the more experienced pilots are the ones that get
priority when being assigned to planes. Not to mention he is the
pilot in a four man helicopter gunship crew.
Therefore he is assigned to a basic combat aircraft with two gun
turrets and 6 seats for passengers, and he couldn't happier. To
him the plane doesn't matter, the pilot does. Still he looks
forward to the day he can take a seat in the Blue Eagle type
jet.
For now he regularly flies the helicopter team and are training
for being converted to flying one of G.U.N's twin engine
gunships.
Combat abilities:
Abilities:
Burst shots - Guntram fires a burst of 3 pistol rounds at his
opponent.
Parachute fall - When jumping off high ledges, provided the
parachute is equipped, Guntram can use it to negate any and all
fall damage and maintain control during his descent.
Strengths:
Can keep his breath upward of thirty minutes underwater (That is
what penguins can in real life as well).
Improved swimming and resistance to cold temperatures.
Able to keep calm under pressure.
Able to withstand a high amount of G-forces.
Fast reactions and high dexterity.
Weaknesses:
Unable to cope with high temperature.
He sadly tends to forget crucial information at times.
Unable to hold his own in close combat.
Trivial facts:
Guntram means "War raven" in German
Loves to skydive as a hobby.
Seeks to learn about flying bigger craft with more passenger
capacity.
Current plane resembles the famous Huey.

--Update--
Due to the reboot and MGS 5, i have changed Guntram to a
helicopter pilot. The crew will be acting as NPCs and they are
green like Guntram, so don't worry, he can attack 2 to 3
targets, but the accuracy is horrible.
Not to mention, helicopter extractions are now possible in case
of injuries and the like.
