Sonic flinched when Amy set the food down before him. He
expected it to soon be smacked to the ground or to have his face
shoved into it. He shivered for a second as the routine of Jail
Zone was still affecting him. He blinked looking down at his
favorite food and asked rather shyly. "I'm allowed to eat this?"
He asked before slowly bringing his hands to pick it up before
dropping it on the plate seemingly afraid to eat. While in
prison Sonic had starved due to the other inmates cruelty and it
had affected him mentally.

Amy looked confused and was confused, it had been fifteen
seconds, why was the Chilidog still there on the plate? He must
be sick.
She blinked in surprise at his shy question, "No" Amy answered
as she went back into the kitchen and came back out, tying a bib
that read 'let's eat', around his neck, "Okay, now you can, I
knew something was missing" She smiled, setting his drink down
in front of his plate, she nodded, "Eat up Hero" She insisted,
watching him go to pick it up before just dropping his hands,
she picked up the Chilidog herself and held it to his mouth,
"Forgotten how eat in he past six weeks have we? Say 'Ahhh'" She
said with a warm smile.
Amy of course was going to assist the blue hedgehog if he was
having trouble, even if the having trouble part was eating, not
exactly something she was expecting him to have trouble doing,
but if that's what he needed help wih, that was what she was
going to help him with.

Sonic sniffed the food it smelled good it was his favorite and
Amy seemed to be allowing him to eat it. He started to feel safe
and in a second he snapped up the entire thing from her hands as
if he was a wild animal being fed for the first time. After
getting over his phobia he cleared his throat and turned red.
"Ermm....thanks Amy, you're really nice to me." He stood and
took the drink from her hands walking away sipping while trying
to act kool. Before long Sonic finished the drink and cleared
his throat. "Heh okay enough cute stuff let's get rolling. I've
got some important stuff to do. Let's get going."

Amy was a bit surprised at his sudden snatch and snap up of the
food, but he did look hungry and under fed, she noticed that
before she left the room to let him sleep. She let out a soft
giggle as he finished the Chilidog in seconds, and then started
to drink away at the lemonade. She watched him walk away and
finish it before standing back up straight herself. She made a
mental note to whip up some more Chilidogs for him later, he
seemed like he hadn't eaten in weeks!
The pink hedgehog nodded and placed his plate and glass in the
sink before returning to his side, "Right beside you, I'm ready
when you are, let's go" She said with a cheery smile.
