Blaze had scratched his head a bit before listening carefully as
much as possible. Sapphire seemed to be hitting points, Blaze
might not have brought up right away. But hey in the end
everything worked out it seemed. " Sure count me in. " Blaze
replied with a smile before looking over to Veira who raised a
small eyebrow but said nothing on the subject.

Breezie placed a eloquent suitcase onto the table and slowly
opened it. As it opened it revealed seven colored emeralds
neatly lined up in a velvet interior. "The chaos emeralds, I'm
sure you're familiar with them. You see once I got my hands on
these beauties I started some experiments. One of these
experiments escaped and I'd like it brought back alive. It's far
to dangerous and cost me way too much money to have it running
around free. You see in addition to positive press I'll also
offer you jobs that call your your unique skills. You'll have to
be careful we managed to place inhibitor rings to control and
regulate it's power, but it's still exceedingly deadly. I have
confidence you will return well with my property in hand.
Sightings suggest it was last spotted around The Chemical Plant.
I'll have your first photos shoot and script ready upon your
return." Breezie told them as she called ans Scratch opened the
door for them.
"One last thing." Breezie said as she leaned forward a deadly
serious look upon her face. "Just as I keep your secrets I
expect you to keep mine. Not a word of what you are hunting to
strangers. The child won't be a problem will she?" She asked
raising an eyebrow.

Blaze looked at the chaos emeralds a bit surprised to see
Breezie with them. He was a bit curious on how she managed to
acquire them but he thought little of it as they were given
their assignment. " This creature...what is it specifically? I'd
rather not run in there blindly unsure of what we're getting
ourselves into. " blaze stated as he crossed his arms slightly.
When the mention of keeping things hush hush was brought up and
Sapphire was instantly signaled out, Veira got a bit defensive.
" Sapphire will be fine. " Veira stated

"You have my word Breeze...we wont tell anyone..your secret is
safe with me.." he stated knowing that he kept alot
of..regretable secrets to himself. Like the time he refused to
tell Sapphire that Sonic went to jail due to his recent assault
against Karahl as well as being forced to abandon him.
Or that he didnt tell his own brother he was given an assigment
to eliminate Blaze should he get out of control by Syruchi. He
also hid the fact that Tikal nearly killed Sonic by knocking him
into the water by siding with Scourge as well as during the
battle on Angel Island.

"Very good. What you're hunting is a chaos based lifeform
created to be the perfect soldier. He obeys command without
question and carries out orders to the letter. After every
mission he undergoes a mind wipe so he has nothing but his
objective. He misunderstood his last orders and now will not
return until he carries it out. I want him brought back alive
but if civilians are caught in the crossfire do what you have
to, to bring him down."

Sapphire nodded with a smile to Karahl upon being thanked, "It's
no biggie".
The young blue hedgehog watched as the other three took up
Breezie's offers to them just like that, well at least one
person in the room was happy, Breezie.
"It's 'Sapphire', Sapphire the Hedgehog" She said to Breezie
upon being adressed as 'the child', She smiled when Veria stood
up for her too.
Sapphire's eyes literally lit up upon the case containing the
seven coloured emeralds being opened up and her mouth fell open
to form an 'o' shape. She could feel her heart pick up speed and
her body itched to get closer to the powerful gems. "How did you
get those?" She asked, her eyes never leaving the seven
sparkling emeralds.
The rest of the conversation mostly went over her head,
something about an experiment that's gone and now Breezie wants
them to bring it back, it sounded simple enough, but easier said
then done.
Sapphire's feet started to walk her back over to Breezie and the
emeralds in the case, "I'm not the only one feeling this
[glow=gold,2,300]energy am I?[/glow]" She asked her eyes
sparkling with the seven colours of the emeralds.

Breezie slammed shut the case as Sapphire got way too close for
her linking. It appears Sapphire's friends kind words had given
her a new found confidence, Breezie would now have to stamp out.
"With lots of money and much more patience. With these in my
possession I am currently the most powerful woman in the world.
I can't use them myself of course but it doesn't mean I can't
use them in other ways." She said before looking down at
Sapphire. "Did you say? Your family name was T.Hedgehog? A
moment ago you called him your Father. So Sonic is your kin. You
are a spitting image of him. He's only....what 19 now? He
settled very young. How odd for him." Sapphire had slipped up
one too many times and had been caught out.

Sapphire blinked and shook her head upon the case being shut,
she'd gotten so close!
The energy from the emeralds immediately faded away and her eyes
returned to normal, her heart pace too as they disappeared from
view behind the case lid.
Sapphire looked up at Breezie, a little disappointed that the
emeralds had been shut away, they had made her feel... Alive.
And Breezie had taken it away with one simple swoop.
What Breezie said after brought her to a bit of a panic,
although she seemed to think that this current time Sonic was
her actual, actual father.
"Hey, uh, like you said, we've all got secrets here in this
room" She said with a nervous smile, putting her hands behind
her back as she took a few slow steps back from the desk with
the emeralds hidden within the case, "I'm fifteen, that would've
made Sonic four when I was born, I don't really think that's
quite possible, I'll let you think on that one".

Breezie didn't care much for details but she smiled looking to
Karahl. "You're Sonic's partner right? That must make you. Oh
now I understand why she's here it must be bring your daughter
to work day. Karahl dear be sure to take your daughter with you.
Nothing like a little Mummy and me time, now is there?" She said
with a smile stashing the case away.

Sapphire blinked, well for one thing she was glad that Breezie,
clearly, didn't pick up on what she was getting at, but
Sapphire's parents where her parents, no one else could really
fit in that actual space.
"Kara's not my Mum" She said bluntly, looking over at the Tiger,
giving her a light smile before frowning, confused, back at
Breezie. She didn't quite get how that clicked together in the
green hedgehog's mind, sure most mobians normally look like the
one parent more then the other, in her case, she looked a bit
more like her father, but she still had distinct features of her
mother, but no features from her ninja friend.
She raised an eyebrow and gave Breezie a strange look taking
another step back, towards the other's. "Yeah... Mummy and Me
time..." she said sceptically, standing beside Blaze for a
moment before heading to the door leading out of the room, she
picked up her pace slightly, her boots making soft thumping
noises with each quick step, "I guess, I might see you guys at
The Chemical Plant then, since it was the last place the target
was spotted, sorry if I come late or something, catch you later"
She said to her friends as she walked out, shooting them all a
salute before kicking up her feet and shooting off in a small
blur of blue.
