The Search for a Ninja

[this serves as a
continuation from The Way of the Ninja..anyone can join this
thread]
For hours he has been searching his teacher...his master.....his
long time best friend...in this dreadful landscape of a
city...with no breaks in between. "Kaaaarahl!...Karahl! where
are you!?" he cried out to her but to no avail. He has checked
the alleyways, the rooftops, stores, the restaruants, and even
the park...he couldnt find a single shred of a ninja's black
uniform in broad dayllight. "I should have known it wasnt going
to be easy..she is probably hiding somewhere in the dark..but I
have to keep looking.." he mutters to himself.
The one place he hadn't check was the knothole forest just
outside of mobotropolis but before he goes there he wanted to
try and track her down using the very thing she has taught him
and his brother to use......his senses. He begins to close his
eyes and attempts to sniff the air for a tigers scent like a dog
who uses his nose to find whatever item they wished to find.
Picking up a scent he begins to follow the trail leading him
somewhere of the unknown...he hopes this scent belongs to Karahl
as he knows there is more than one snow claw ninja running
around various parts of the city.

Ty was lead to a narrow alley way, so narrow that he could not
stretch out his arms all the way out without having the walls at
either side of him get in the way. The scent was strong here,
like as though the trail had stopped entirely and had been
lingering here for some time. Perhaps for a few hours at most.
Even so, the tiger was nowhere to be seen... but the logical
thing to do was to simply look up.
Karahl was lying across the ledge of the outer side of the six
storey building, on the third floor. She showed no emotion on
her face before rolling onto her back and somehow managing to
not fall, "Well done Ty." she said simply, a somber tone in her
voice.

He looks up noticing Karahl seemed to by laying up on the ledge
of a building for some reason and given her tone of voice its
hard to tell whether or not she sounds upset at this turn of
events. "There you are...I've been looking all over for you for
a while now...I just wanted to check up on you to see if you are
okay.....I didnt expect him to attack you like that.." his voice
remains stoic but it has a hint of concern written all over it.

"I appreciate the concern and I did not expect it either... I
also stuck around long enough for what the two of you said to
each other. I am uncertain where he suddenly got this apiphanny
from but if that is his attitude then he will be losing a lot of
allies very quickly. Haven't most of us committed at least one
murder by now?" she let out a sigh, "Is he serious? Under mind
control? Either way something tells me that it's over between us
now..."

"So you heard what I said huh.."he jumps straight up the ledge
to sit down next to her with his ears dropped with worry. "Yes I
believe most of us did..take a few lives before...as if we have
a choice....the enemies we faced are usually the worst kind of
scum..even morso than Robotnik..that murdering those kinds of
people was the only solution.." he stares out into the sky.
"I hope he is under mind control...I always imagined you two as
the perfect couple..your personalities blend well
together...then you guys share a couple of common
interests...even your super powers compliment each other...I
mean he loves you very much.....im sure that he didn't mean what
he said at all and Robotnik had something to do with it" he said
trying to give her the benefit of the doubt with a smile.
"You know...I've always wonder how things would have turned out
if we tried to put Mardius and Le Garent to jail.. doing that
alone would be quite impossible..especially for a giant snake
ship...I'd feel sorry for those prisoners who had to deal with
their size and horrible smell.." a small chuckle can be heard
from the hybrid attempting to make light of the situation.

"Mardius would have gotten out. Fairly quickly." Karahl replied
immediately with a dangerous tone before she took the time to
take a deep breath and calm down.
"I don't know but I agree. Sometimes there is no other option
unless you want to run the risk of a repeat from them. The best
way to predict someone's behavior is to look at their history...
but thank you Ty."

It didn't take Blaze long to track down his brother as he had
also went to search for Kara himself after that little display
bak at the dojo. Just what was that all about anyways? Blaze had
picked up o the scent as he was lead to the narrow alleyway. His
ears perked up a bit as he heard Ty and Kara talking above him.
Jumping to the roof he took a seat nearby before speaking.
" Hey guys....you okay Kara? " he asked as he looked at her.

"I am fine, for a Snow-Claw is unfaltering." Karahl insisted
before her tone grew softer, "....Though at times that
reputation can be challenging." she admitted.
The tiger then looked up at Blaze with a weak smile, "Regardless
I will be okay and thank you for your concern. It's only a
bruise."

" Only a bruise..." Blaze thought to himself as he looked at the
mark on her face. If that was him in her place he probably be
dead or at the least in a lt of pain. He shook his head from the
thought as he returned to his teacher. " I see...i wonder what
made Sonic act that way....it doesn't make sense..." Blaze
replied as his ears lowered a bit. Veira hadn't said nothing as
she made her appeaance by bowing to the tiger ninja and sitting
by her partner's side.

"Im amazed its only a bruise sensai...that punch Sonic hit you
with had enough force and speed to kill someone. I'm surprised
you have that kind of endurance to survive that let alone being
able to stand up and walk away.." he places a hand on his chin
to think.
"But I wonder why would he even attempt a lethal blow like
against you...Ive known Sonic for as long as I have..and even
though he can be a jerk at times he never finds in his heart to
commit murder..no matter who they are...talk about being a
hypocrite...but something doesnt feel right around here.." he
said.
