       So long and thank you all for a year of RP

       As I write this I'm finding it a little hard hard to even fathom
       I'm doing this but I feel it necessary to achieve my next step
       as a writer. See though the later years of college most of the
       time I spent writing creatively was here. I gave classic
       characters deeper depth more interesting stories,forged
       friendships and fought foes and gave you all many adventures
       that you hopefully enjoyed. Robotnik Rises,Robotnik's Revenge
       all my other arcs and side stories were written to entertain
       you. See I love being the center of attention because I love to
       entertain people. Telling stories I feel is in my soul as it
       comes as naturally to me as breathing or blinking. Writing is my
       passion and I can only hope my efforts here have helped you have
       fun and want to keep going. I have to say I am deeply touched my
       work has influenced everything from art,writing and even
       original character concepts. I feel Sonic Spotlight's canon and
       stories can downright be better than the games and in some cases
       can even rival the Archie comics. We have a deep history
       colorful cast and one compelling canon. Together what started as
       a site I created so I could rp the star, turned into something
       special, a sprawling story full of drama,action,adventure and
       even deep emotional turmoil and light laughs.
       Anyway down to what this post is all about. I'm leaving Sonic
       Spotlight to focus on personal projects such as my own writing
       and my gaming channel. I can't say I won't miss this place you
       guys have been great. Every post here has something special
       adding to a greater story. Although I have crafted vast amounts
       of this world's lore you have contributed just as much. I leave
       Spotlight in the very capable hands of my wonderful girlfriend
       Nicole who you know as Karahl. I'm sure she will keep the
       speeding legacy alive. Before I sign off I wanted to write a
       thank you list dedicated to the people who have helped make
       Sonic Spotlight the very special place it is.
       Karahl (For being there for me and being the most wonderful
       partner a guy could ask for.)
       Blaze and TY (For being fun friends I could just play and chat
       about games with.)
       V (For being a fun writer with compelling characters who I
       really just adored.)
       Tikal (For teaching me seeing things from another
       perspective/Just letting people enjoy what they want can't hurt
       you. After all the only head canon that matters is the one you
       decide.)
       Sapphire (For proving time and time again she's creative and
       compelling.Not to mention the way she saw the best in characters
       brought out some very good developmental moments in stories.
       Also I wanted to thank you for the kind words and pictures
       produced because you enjoyed what I did here. It only takes one
       person to believe in you and to know I inspired a stranger gives
       me more than enough cause to believe in myself.)
       Anyway guys I'll be making a final post in the coming days to
       excuse Sonic from the story. To any inconvenience this will
       cause to future RP's I apologize in advance. While I was looking
       forward to some new RP's mainly with Fiz's Eggman I feel this is
       something I have to do.
       Now a few notes
       *Nobody will rp Sonic in my absence
       *Nobody will ever be faster than Sonic
       *Nobody is to RP as any of my OC's or canon chars This means
       Sonic,Dr.Robotnik,Vesper,Ember,Metal,Constance and so on. Lesser
       characters I've rped for less time like Bunnie and Sally can be
       used if need be.
       *Lastly I ask you try and keep all roleplay in the spirit this
       RP was founded in Freedom fun and the Sonic SATAM series.
       I can say this is one of the best Sonic experiences I've ever
       had. This truly is the end of an era. To me Sonic Spotlight was
       best fan created Sonic project ever.
       Thank you all for the fond memories. Have fun and no matter what
       keep on running you'll get there someday.
