Rude Interruption

Shade looks into her mug of hot cocoa resting her head on her
hand sitting outside of a cafe. "To peaceful around here." She
sighs and takes a sip from the mug. "When is my next assignment
anyway?" She closes her eyes thinking hard.

Prisscilla walked by the winged one carrying a box of beakers
and bottles they clanged together as she moved. She fixed up her
fins and prepped her dress before inquiring them them. "Hello
dear, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find south street
would you? I've tried asking others but they are all a fluster
with this new Eggman Land theme park. I've no interest in the
place myself the name is ghastly. If you could point me in the
correct direction that would be wonderful. I'm tired of seeing
that blue hedgehog on all the posters and TV's the sooner I'm in
doors with my experiments the better."

Shade looks at Prisscilla with suspicion. "No sorry I am new
here. What kinda of experiments do you do? If I may ask." She
flicks her tail and wings tips and right ear taking another sip
of her drink.

"Oh shame....Oh well you know herbolgy,biology,gene splicing,
unethical chemical treatments yanno that type of stuff." She
looked closer and plucked a feather from the strangers wings.
"Fascinating wings without being of an avian breed. This will
prove useful. In that case good day to you miss. I've got many
many experiments to run and such little time to do it in."

Suddenly an indescribable blue blur rushed past the pair moving
to fast to even make out what it was. He zipped past the two and
narrowly nudges Prisscilla. Before long he got his bearings and
was gone from sight as it was far too hard for the eyes to keep
up with. He was headed towards Amy's shack but it wasn't like
anybody could keep up to find out as he was already long gone.
(Just making a cameo here. Hi new guy hope you have fun.)

Prisscilla let out an annoyed hiss as the fasting move blue
object caused her to drop her box. As her clutches dropped the
case of items it hit the ground as the glassware such as bottles
and test tubes shattered. She glared over the horizon as it
vanished then stomped her foot annoyed. "What the chaos was
that? It broke my lab equipment. Doesn't this stupid city have a
no speeding policy for vehicles?"

"No and that was not a vehicle. And please don't pluck my
feathers. What is gene splicing anyway?" Shade gets up and
starts picking up the pieces of broken glassware.

"It is the act of taking the genes of two of more different
species and splicing them together to make a new lifeform. For
example bears are strong yet birds can fly if one were to
combine the DNA of a bear and bird you could have a creature
with the strength of a bear but the flight abilities of a bird."
She looked to the glassware as she placed her fingers against
her forehead closing her eyes. "Well whatever it was it's bloody
rude. Look forget the glass. I must be off was lovely meeting
you miss." She said before she left the stranger and walked off
into the city.

"Uh. You too." Shade blinks a bit confused she drops the glass
and walks back over to her cocoa and finishes it up and starts
eating a chocolate chip cookie. "That was odd. I think gene
splicing or whatever is illegal in a few ways. Oh well not my
job." She takes out a knife and starts tossing it in the air
accidentally dropping her G.U.N badge in the process. It slides
to the sidewalk. "Darn it!" Shade gets up and walks over to pick
up her badge.

Plasma was walking when he noticed the new guy drop something.
He ran over there and went to give him his badge. This yours?
He said as he showed the angel.
