Pyro the Eagle and Ace the Wolf
By: Pyro Date: December 28, 2014, 4:36 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Pyro the Eagle
Description
Pyro the Eagle is a bald eagle with a red-feathered body, his
head is white-feathered, and his eyes are a sky blue color. He
wears a black pair of pilot goggles though he doesn't own a
plane like some other pilots would. Though he doesn't wear
gloves, its because it would keep him from naturally flying. His
shoes are black high tops with 2 straps and red stripes across
them. Also, along his ankles are shackles to help people hold on
when he is carrying them. While this does hamper his flight a
bit, it does help the people holding on so there is a lower risk
of falling. He has a large set of tail feathers to help him keep
his balance in the air.

Personality
Pyro is a hero with a heart of fire, loving to fight but only
fighting when he is provoked. He is hot headed and kind of dumb,
and this has lead him into trouble in combination with his
constant need to help people. Despite his intelligence, he isn't
easily tricked and at least has some understanding of logic
unlike some characters. He doesn't use weapons because he feels
that he does not need them, thinking they are useless to him as
long as he has the power of fire. Pyro is friendly to strangers
though his trust can only go so far, as he only respects people
who respects him back.
Pyro's best friend, Ace, took him from his family a while back
after his own family, excluding his sister, was attacked by
monsters and changed. Because of this, issues between him and
his best friend has risen, and it's because of this that he
feels the need to help others. He knows how it feels to be hurt
so much, and he wishes for others to not feel the pain, as he
holds his family in his heart. Why he doesn't return? Because he
knows it'd be dangerous, and he doesn't want to leave his
friend's side. He is loyal until the end.
Also, his favorite food is chicken. Yes, technically Pyro is a
cannibal.
Powers & abilities
Pyro's abilities are focused on raw power and speed, but is very
lacking in defense with only one move that can be used for
blocking. While he can manipulate already existing fire, he can
also create it. Meanwhile, he can only set things on fire that
he is touching. His average speed limit is 60 miles per hour,
though with a boost he can quickly reach 90 miles per hour, and
while using a combination of flight and boost he can go at 100
miles per hour. It's been said that he is a fast glass tank,
with the capability to deal more damage in a short amount of
time than he can take, which only puts more of a limit on him.
Finally, it's known that his limits are based on the environment
he's in and his stamina/energy level. Whenever a fight starts,
he always begins with 50 energy to use, which is separate from
his usual 50 out of battle.
To explain this, Pyro's moves rely on a post count based on
damage taken, moves used, and time waited. When a topic starts,
he starts with 50 energy. Using powers subtracts from it based
on the move used, and taking any amount of damage will increase
the energy by 10. Yes, even if the damage is fatal, if he
survives, he will only gain 10 energy from it. In a fight as to
be compared to non-combat use of his powers, every post he
doesn't use an ability he gains 5 energy. Anyways, upon reaching
100 he can take on a basic super form that while it is not
immortal, it does increase basic stats and has a small healing
factor. If he reaches 0 energy, he will be incapable of using
his powers until he gains back 50 energy(through taking the
damage or waiting it out).
[li]Fire Conjuration - Pyro's most basic ability, the ability to
create fire. It's best to define now how he uses his abilities.
Unlike some people, he is able to control his core temperature
to an insane degree without doing major damage to himself,
giving him the ability to create fire and after years training
with Ace he has became capable of using this to control fire on
the outside of his body. Because of this, however, using this
ability causes him to tire out easily. While the size of the
fire is limited to at least his own size, the energy usage is
always 10 points.[/li]
[li]Fire Melee - The Fire Kick and Fire Punch are exactly as
they sound, a kick or punch extended by fire. This does minor
fire damage to an opponent and takes 5 points of energy.[/li]
[li]Fire Projectile - Flaming Feathers and Fireball do the same
thing though in different ways. When using Flaming Feathers,
Pyro launches his own feathers at opponents after setting them
ablaze. Doing this causes damage minor damage to himself but
takes only 1 points of energy per feather being fired, meaning
he can fire 50 at the start of a fight despite the fact that it
could kill him if any more than 50 is fired. This makes it an
ability to use only if desperate(as in, below 5 energy but above
0 energy). With Fireball, he doesn't take damage but loses 5
points of energy per fireball instead. The Flaming Feathers deal
medium fire damage and minor cutting damage, while the Fireball
does medium fire damage.[/li]
[li]Flamethrower - The Flamethrower move is a basic fire skill
where the user breathes a stream of flames from the mouth, or
fires it from the appendages. Through the mouth, Pyro does major
fire damage but only one stream can be created. From the hands 2
streams max can be created but medium fire damage is dealt. Pyro
cannot use it from his hands and mouth at the same time. The
Flamethrower uses 10 points of energy. [/li]
[li]Pyroboom - This is his signature ability. Depending on if he
is running, flying, or standing still, this move acts
differently with his body but it still does the same thing
generally. While standing still, the Pyroboom acts as an
explosion with an AOE(Area Of Effect) of 5 feet with a shockwave
that reaches out to 5 yards. This causes him to release 50
energy instantly, which if used at the beginning of a fight will
bring him instantly to 0. It's best to use this skill after
taking a hit because the opponent is most likely in the AOE
range and Pyro won't lose all energy after using it if he uses
it after taking a hit(most likely leaving him with 5 or more
energy). The Pyroboom does major fire and explosion damage.
While running or flying, Pyro ends up using a form of the boost.
While running, the Pyroboom surrounds him in an aura of fire as
his speed is increased to 90 miles per hour, and while flying a
fire is released from his tail feathers that blasts him to 100
miles per hour in a jet-like fashion. Anyone caught in the
Pyroboom will take major fire damage but recoil will be dealt to
Pyro. While running or flying, he uses 10 energy per post.[/li]
[li]Phoenix Form/Star Pyro - Once Pyro reached 100 energy, he
can trigger a form where he sets himself on fire, giving himself
a healing factor and doubling his strength and speed by two.
Finally, his powers do not effect stamina in this form, but he
is not invincible and can take damage(making it possible to take
more damage than his healing factor can heal before he gets out
of the Phoenix Form). The Phoenix Form always lasts 5 posts
before returning Pyro to normal with 50 energy.[/li]
Weaknesses
Pyro is elementally weak to water and because of his arms/wings
he can just barely swim, only learning how to doggiepaddle from
Ace who is well... a dog. Pyro isn't very strategic in a fight
and finds it difficult to predict his opponents moves. In
contrast, he himself is usually very predictable which has been
his downfall in the past.

Ace the Wolf
Description
Ace has black fur all over his body, with a fluffy tail and
short hair with long bangs that covers his right eye a bit. His
ears are large but short, making them a little rounded. His
teeth are sharp and strong, like the wolf he is. Finally, he has
brown eyes.
Like Pyro he doesn't wear gloves, but it's not that he can't use
him, it's just that he doesn't need them. He finds gloves
unprofessional for his business as he just wants to look like
the average man, selling things. Along with that, he wears a
black suit with a red tie and black, long pants. Despite his
easygoing appearance meant to not turn people away, he does wear
alot of spikes, with a spiky, gold ring around his tail and
spike-tipped boots.
Then there is the briefcase, which can also be covered in Powers
and abilities, but the appearance will be shown here. The
briefcase is made of stainless steel, making it hard to damage
if dropped or simply hitting something, though it does have a
few marks here and there around the rectangular, silver box. On
both sides it has a few grooves and on the top there is a handle
directly connected to it so that while swinging it, it doesn't
come off.

Personality
Ace is a business man and his business is business. Originally
being a weapons salesman, he has broadened his horizons so he
can more more rings, so he only works in the weapons business as
an inventor now. His two major concerns are keeping his friend
safe and money, and if the two conflict it becomes hard for him
to decide on what is really important to him. How Pyro and Ace
have stayed friends all this time, no one is really sure, seeing
as Pyro's need to protect people usually puts him in danger at
the cost of money almost all the time. By now, Pyro should of
learned what he is worth to Ace, especially after what Ace did
so long ago by taking him from his family in an attempt to
protect him from his parents, who are now Skinwalkers.
When Ace was young, he and his sister were asleep one night when
his parents, hunters, were going on a hunting trip. Just outside
the house, however, the two were attacked and changed, waking up
Ace and his sister Bonnie, triggering a fight or flight
reaction. And their parents always told them that if they were
turned into monsters, to run.
Because of this, Ace is almost always on the move, unless it
conflicts with his first two objectives which is keeping Pyro
safe and getting money. He is almost always on the move, and
even when Pyro finds someone he needs to help, Ace knows when he
wants to leave, where he wants to go, and probably how he wants
to do it before Pyro ever finds the person, and usually no
matter what Pyro says, his plans aren't to be changed. Finally,
upon meeting a monster, as in demons, nightmares*species I
created), vampires, werewolves, and especially skinwalkers, ect.
he will not hold back if the creature does even the smallest
thing to put them at a disadvantage in anything. Such a
generalization has put him into a few fights before, so it's a
good thing he is a born fighter. He loves to fight, and has kept
himself ready for almost any situation through almost constant
training.
If there is a place you'd probably find these two the most, it'd
most likely be Mobotropolis, as it being the capital of Mobius
makes it an easy place to sell and train.
Powers & abilities
Besides his natural wolf abilities, he has no real powers. He
makes up for it with an abundance of weapons. His favorite gun
being the Desert Eagle, he rarely uses it because he doesn't
like to use the things he sells in a fight. However, if caught
in a situation where he is without his sword, you can expect him
to pull out something, or just smack you with the briefcase
itself. The Briefcase is a technological masterpiece. It works
like this:
The inside is a computer with a solid, transparent screen that
you can put things through and take things out, almost like an
incedibly strong bubble. It stores matter as data until it is
taken out again, transforming it back into matter. Kind of like
half of a teleporter, which will send that data to another place
to turn back into matter. Using this, the briefcase has a very
high number of objects that can be placed in it, though mostly
it's either food or inorganic materials like weapons and
clothing.
The main attraction when it comes to combat, however, is his
powerful sword, the RailBlade. Like a RailGun, it works off of
electricity. But the RailBlade can do so much more. It's science
fiction to the max, with its strong, graphine blade that can be
extended by changing matter going in through the bottom of the
blade into carbon atoms, which then take the form of graphine(a
monomolecular superconductor). If that wasn't enough, the
handguards are connected to two thin, rod-like mini-chain saws
with electricity firing through them. The blade becomes
electrified with this, giving it a possible ranged attack
through swinging it while the sword is conducting the
electricity. It can be turned on and off, and does run off of
alot of batteries. The batteries power the electrity, not the
blade extension, so once the batteries go out the electricity
dies off, but the sword is still able to be used.
Weaknesses
The sword is massive and dangerous, making it easy for him to
cut himself with it on accident. His wolf senses can be tricked
if he doesn't think he's in danger. Being a wolf, he can only
doggie-paddle, so Ace isn't winning any swimming competitions
any time soon.
