Thirty-One Below

It was a bright and sunny afternoon, all of robotropolis had
been littered with fliers for a new All ages bar that was
opening right outside town. It was called the "Thirty-One
Below." It was an old mine that had been converted into an
underground Bar. One for All to come and relax, mingle even!
It was run by the Pangolin by the name of Rudo Curlin. He was a
rather Unkown member of society, one whom rarely visited town,
let alone came out from the mine itself.
For those who would arrive he would be found waiting outside of
the Bar, which had a wooden door, and a Sign beside it that said
"Thirty-One Below, and pointed down into the ground. While he
waited he leaned against the stone around the door, playing a
Harmonica in a rather jamming beat.

Natasha was one of the first to arrive at the newly advertised
bar; normally, she wasn't the one for places like these, but she
figured hey, why not give it a try? As she heard the playing of
a harmonica, however, she seemed to lighten up and smile. She
looked at the sign, and knew she had found the right place, and
as a bonus, it was a pretty good way to re-use an old mine;
consistent temperature, iconic aesthetic, unique location. Who
knew, maybe if she liked this place, she'd try to get Ajax to
come here with her.

Blaze had just arrived from a job when he heard about the
opening of a bar outside of town. It was in an old mine that
hadn't been used in quite some time. He was a bit skeptical at
first because a mine didn't sound all that pleasing to him due
to random dreams he had but he shook his head trying to drown it
out before the craziness crept in. Arriving at the mine, Blaze
saw Natasha waiting there at the entrance along with a peguin
playing an instrument.
"Heya Natasha.. i see you found this place too huh? " Blaze
asked.

A crimson hedgehog had just arrived, seeing the beige cat Tasha
as she walked up to the entrance. She flipped a Mobium towards
the owner, not as payment for coming, but for the impressive
harmonica music, and walked over to Tasha when she got inside
the bar.
She wasn't one to go to bars often, but she felt today was a
good day to do so. Besides, when would you get the chance to go
to a bar that was once a mine?
"Tasha! It's me!~" Rose said, waving lightly as she came closer
to Tasha and the bar counter, where she saw nobody there at the
moment.

Dawn strolled through the town, holding one of the fliers
advertising a new bar called "Thirty-One Below." While she was
one of the last people to be seen in a bar, the dragoness
couldn't pass up the chance to mingle with other Surface folk.
Eventually, Dawn saw the pangolin next to a door and a sign that
pointed down to the bar. Smiling, she passed through and
entered, an odd buzz of excitement running through her once she
descended into the bar.

Those that entered through the door would find themselves in an
elevator. Despite being given the money to enter, Rudo rolled
his eyes and finished playing. He put the harmonica in his
jacket then motioned to the elevator behind the wood door. " If
you are everyone head on inside." He said. He smiled tipping
his hat to them, revealing the various scales on his body. "
Names Rudo Curlin. I own this Mine turned Bar. I'm also the
Bartender." He chuckled to himself then headed into the
elevator.
Once everyone was inside he pulled a lever on the inside, which
caused it all to shutter before it began to move down. The
darkness of the mine overtook them, before a Light shined in the
top of the elevator. "So, we got about ten minutes to wait
while we ride down to the mine. Go ahead and Mingle with
yourselves, or feel free to ask questions."

Ten minutes? Well, at least the pangolin was a gentleman, and
this was a good chance to see who else had come; her eyes
quickly spotted Blaze, and then Rose, Dawn as well. "Blaze,
Dawn, Rose; you guys came out here to check this place out,
huh?" She was with friends, down here far under the surface, and
she smiled as she gave all of them hugs. "Good to know I've got
friends to hang with down here... Speaking of 'down here', Mr.
Rudo was it? Why open a bar in an old mine? Any particular
reason?

" I was actually wandered that myself. A mine for a bar is new
to me. Aren't you worried about random accidents and what not
hapening down here if the elevator is the only way out? " Blaze
asked.

Unnoticed by everyone, Gabriel had slipped in just before the
lever was pulled, and was now standing silently to the left of
Rudo. He hadn't come for mingling, just to drink in silence.
That and he visited practically every bar of ever town he'd been
to, so the opening of a new bar caught his attention. His ears
turned towards the conversation as he was curious but didn't
wish to say anything.

The hybrid had been silently followed the group and being in the
elevator with them the whole time with his arms crossed. Why did
he come is anyones guess..but he figures he must check out the
bar to see if it was even safe to operate. "hmm.." he thought to
himself while staring at the bar owner with his fierce looking
eyes..
