Super Sonic Work-Out?

Natasha wheezed as she leaned over, hands on her knees, in the
middle of the Mobotropolis park. Winter was over, and it was now
that she had come to realize how little self-control she had
shown during the holidays. She had gained an astonishing amount
of weight, looking almost comically fat; it was a miracle her
clothes still fit her. Still, she had come here for a reason,
and that reason was to get back in shape (or at least try to).
She had asked her friends to help her out, and this was where
they planned on meeting; she almost regretted that as she
breathed heavily, her gut heaving inwards and outwards with her
panting. Man, was she out of shape.
She flopped onto the grass, humorously jiggling as she landed
flat on her rump, waiting to greet her friends with her now
less-than-appealing appearance. She reached for her back pocket
to pull out a candy bar, only to remember she didn't bring one;
that would ruin the purpose of exercising. She did, however,
have several bottles of water slung over her shoulder, and she
quickly guzzled one down and wiped her mouth with arm. "Welp...
Now I wait."

Natasha didn't have to wait very long at all, as seconds after
she finished her first bottle of water there was a small streak
of blue mixed with a rainbow of colours, and then a small blue
hedgehog was standing a few feet in front of her.
She was in her usual get up, but with some added sports tape
along with a small blue whistle that hung lightly around her
neck.
Sapphire sped in a circle around Natasha before returning to the
spot in front of her, bouncing up and down, "Come on 'Tasha!"
she ran on the spot, her boots a blur of colour, "Are you ready
to get started?"

Dawn strolled through the park cheerily, enjoying the warmth of
the sun now that winter had passed. The headpiece gleamed
eagerly as it absorbed the celestial body's light, channeling
that energy into the dragoness with each stride. She glanced up
towards the sky, thinking of putting her flying practice to the
test when she suddenly tripped on something rather...large. Her
breath hitched as she began to topple over, but her reflexes her
quick enough when she flapped her wings to give her a quick
boost into the air. Dawn landed gracefully a second later,
turning to see what it was she tripped on, only to see the large
form of her feline friend on the ground.
"N-Natasha??" she gasped,stepping closer. "What are you doing on
the ground? Do you require assistance? Are you injured?" The
princess could see that the feline had gotten considerably
larger since the last time they saw each other, but remained
quiet about it. After all, making sure there was nothing wrong
with the feline was her top priority.

[font=times new roman]Not long after Sapphire showed up, a large
shadow passed over the two. Whatever it was circled around
before landing on a nearby lamp post, only to be revealed as the
dark violet feathered phoenix known as Darkenlight. He kept his
wings open, wary of Sapphire but somewhat relaxed around Natasha
or at least that who he thought it was sitting on the ground.
"You summoned me?" he asked, ears perked as he was alert as
ever, "something about 'getting back in shape'?"
He flapped his wings as Dawn had slightly startled him upon her
arrival. Darkenlight remained perched on the lamp post, not
exactly wanting to get close due to the complete stranger.

Sapphire's arrival was a welcome one; a smile immediately spread
across Natasha's face at the sight of her beloved friend.
"Heheh, perky as ever, huh Sapph? Just go easy on me, okay?" She
took a few deep breaths before trying to pick herself up, only
to get knocked back down on her butt as Dawn accidentally walked
into her and nearly tripped, jiggling like a tub of jello as her
back hit the ground. "Oof!.. Ugh, if I had a little more self
control, I wouldn't be having this problem..."
As she managed, with some effort, to sit herself upwards, she
was greeted by Dawn's friendly face, who seemed deeply concerned
for her. As she asked if she was injured or needed assistance,
she simply giggled a little; "No no, I'm alright Dawn; I'm
just... well, really fat, to put it bluntly, heheh." She slapped
her gut and scratched her head as it shook about violently.
"Just out here to try and get rid of this gut of mine. Thanks
for the concern, though; good to know I've got friends that
care!"
It took a moment, but she heaved herself upwards, her white
belly poking out from underneath her shirt as she took off her
jacket and set it aside. That's when she noticed the shadow
appeared, and Darkenlight perched himself on the lamp post. "Oh,
Darkenlight!.. I actually... didn't expect you to come..." She
blushed and scratched her cheek. "Kind of sweet to see you come
help me shed these pounds... If that makes any sense for you,
eheheh."

Not too far away in the local vicinity, a certain red-orange
hedgehog stood kicking and punching at homemade targets
surrounding her. She was currently wearing a black sweatband,
some gray sweatpants, and her usual black tank top. Pausing a
bit, she wiped her sweaty forehead with the back of her hand and
took out her water bottle and chugged down a lot of it, looking
around as she did so. There in the near distance, she saw some
unfamiliar faces surrounding a person she could've sworn looked
familiar... Curiosity getting the best of her as usual, Kate
jogged over to where the mini crowd was standing and saw a
female blue hedgehog, a princess-looking feline, and a purple
phoenix surrounding...
"...Natasha?" Kate asked, approaching the group. "Is that really
you? It's been a long while... What's going on, and why are you
on the ground like that?"

"Kate! Long time no see!" Natasha happily greeted the new
arrival, yet another beloved friend. "Eheh, yeah it's me, only a
few pounds... ah heck, more like several dozen pounds heavier."
She gave her stomach some more light pats, as if to show just
how fat she had gotten; then again, her strained clothes and her
stomach playing peekaboo were evidence enough. "I sent some
letters out asking if anyone would mind helping me get back in
shape. I thought I sent you one too; did you not get it?" That's
when it clicked; all her friends around her, and almost none of
them knew each other! "Oh dear, none of you have met before,
have you? Sapph, this is Dawn, Kate, and Darkenlight. Dawn, this
is Sapphire, Kate, and Darkenlight. Kate, this is Sapphire,
Dawn, and Darkenlight. Darkenlight, this is Dawn, Kate, and
Sapphire. Did I get everyone?.." She gave her stomach a light
rubbing as she waited for the others to answer.

Dawn looked at each of the Mobians whilst smiling kindly. She
enjoyed meeting other Surface folk, but the fact that they were
all friends of Natasha made it easier for her to be comfortable
around them.
"Hello,"the dragoness says as she bows slightly "It is a
pleasure and an honor to meet each of you." As much as Dawn
would have loved to give them each a diamond, Natasha's well
being came first. She'd have to worry about giving them gifts
later.

Suddenly all these other Mobians she'd never met before started
showing up, she looked to each of them as they came into view
before looking to Natasha, looking a bit confused.
Natasha soon cleared everything up though, and then introduced
everyone to one another, after she did, Sapphire zoomed over to
everyone she could get to and shook their hands, saying "Hi! I'm
Sapphire, Sapphire the Hedgehog! It's nice to meet you!" along
with the Mobians name as she went, before she zipped back to
Natasha.

pounds' ritual," he replied, leaning closer only to jerk back
upon the arrival of Kate. Darkenlight took to the air on that
note, feeling a tad more secure with the added distance. When
Natasha spoke of letters, Darkenlight took out the parchment
he'd flown into a few days prior. "Is this the letter you speak
of?" he asked holding it out, "it tried to eat my face."
Darkenlight's eyes shifted from each person as Natasha
introduced them, raising an eyebrow at Sapphire's greeting.
"I've met the female dragon before but never got acquainted with
her," he stated upon Dawn's name being addressed to him. [/font]
