Part IV: We're here! It Is Time!

Fleurette and Philip weren't the only ones left behind... at
least a few dozen Mistlocks whom were abandoned by Le Gerant and
their fellow crew were out for revenge... and help those who
want to get out of this mess. First things first, they wanted to
leave a message for those whom had helped Le Gerant achieve
their intentions.
"Ętes-vous pręt?"
"Oui."
One pair of former Mistlocks lurked by the serene and beautiful
garden of Japanese influence and design. Despite being
in-and-over their heads they felt the need to do this. One lit a
match and placed it onto a string. The small flame was quick to
eat it away and the two fled around the corner. Once the flame
met with the base of the weapon, disguised as a large
firecracker, fire, sparks and all sorts of colours flooded over
one side of the wall and spilling over into the garden. The fire
raged, swallowing many of the beautiful plants and neared the
koi pond as it made it's way to the home of the Soyagoukas.
((I believe I had V's permission to do this long ago, but if it
is no longer allowed please let me know. :) That poor garden D:
))

After deciding that getting to where the chains were attached
was pointless, Gabriel descended back to the planet in the form
of a dive.
When the ground was close enough, he opened his wings, allowing
himself to land on his feet with a dull thud. The fire erupted
behind him as he landed right in front of the pair. He closed
his wings, his red eyes seemed to glow in the light. Gabriel
stared at the pair for a moment, drawing the pistol on his left
side and aiming at them. "Enemy or ally?" he asked, by his tone
it was clear he was dead serious and by no means bluffing.
(I will edit it if needed, just let me know)

[I]"A simple match to light up an entire garden? Awwww bonafides
after my own heart."[/I] a nearly lurking Alternate thought as
she watched what was going on. She hadn't taken too lightly to
their golden mist but as you would expect she didn't exactly
know what was going on.
Which was why she had company.
[I]"Are you sure this is a good move palsy?"[/I] Wes whispered
to her, not having a clue as to any of the events except for a
bundle of wonder as to what was going on with the gold mist
suddenly appearing. He had took off after Skadu had mentioned
someone looking for goods during the fiasco with the fake
Sapphire [I](Part III)[/I] and ran into Alt who literally ended
up dragging him along with promise of finding the pulse, thus he
ended up agreeing thinking of how much money the 'performance'
duo of 'Karahl' and 'Sapphire' could bring him, completely
unaware that the Sapphire had been a fake and Karahl was now
dead.
[I]"You should really learn to shut up a bit."[/I] she whispered
back to him. [I]"Now keep your money obsessed ass here..."[/I]
and at that she disappeared, causing Wes' eyes to widen in
panic.
She appeared behind Gabriel pointing a pistol at them and tapped
his arm. [I]"A bit of a 'shoot now ask later' are we bud?"[/I]
she asked him trying to gently push down his arm that was
holding the pistol up. [I]"You can't kill two people at the same
time with just one bullet unless they're right behind each other
which these two aren't c'mon don't be ridiculous cute stuff put
the gun down."[/I] she pointed out shaking her head. [I]"But hey
credit for being brave."[/I] she then cast a glance over at the
duo.
They were obviously a different duo to the ones that had
humiliated her at the festival, so she'd let them live...
[I]"for now..."[/I]
[I]"You must be with the lard-a-lots that have been causing all
of this mayhem, you're a bit far from the Gladiateurs aren't
you?"[/I] she said, now with a 'not amused' face. Though she had
disappeared and got popcorn while Ialis and Lyric had panicked
with the Kyrahl head she had listened to the large majority of
goings on, including information on the 'Gladiateurs Se Venger'.
[I]"A simple match making a raging inferno. Fine
resourcefulness, beautiful."[/I] her smile returning as she
leaned on a stone pillar holding up the gates. [I]"But it's not
going to do much good if it doesn't hit anything that's a
hinderance."[/I] she was also completely unaware of how the
songbirds had helped the Mist-Locks and thus didn't see the
logic in what they were doing. [I]"Why don't we instead use some
energy on finding out what's up with this golden mist
stuff?"[/I] she suggested.
Meanwhile Wes just plodded over to Gabriel and said to him [I]"I
could sell you a silencer for that thing palsy."[/I] in a
relatively timid voice.

Gabriel kept his pistol trained on the two despite the two
newcomers. He was quick to pull out his other pistol and aim at
Alt, seemingly to ignore Wes. "Enemy or quite annoying ally?"
he asked keeping his ears on the pair he had first encountered
as he looked at new ones.

[I]"Quite annoying? Awwww you're too kiiiind."[/I] she called
back to him not daring to break eye contact with the Mist-Lock
looking duo. She didn't flinch at the pistol being pointed at
her. [I]"Just remember we're all on this planet together tough
guy. And if you start popping heads of those with the same
objective as you then you're going to drop your chances of
success. Think carefully of your next move."[/I] she called back
to him. She didn't expect him to pull the trigger.
Wes was a little bit worried at the sight of Alt getting a gun
pointed at her and tapped Gabriel on the shoulder. [I]"HowAreYa
Palsy errr, now I get that the girl over there is a little bit
annoying-"[/I][I]"Thank you! :D "[/I][I]"-But she knows
something about a way to quite possibly save the planet so could
you uh, deh heh, not kill her?"[/I] while he was in a way
telling the truth because she knew a bit about pulse and who had
it, as usual he was cracking some kind of lie because she didn't
actually know that the gem was called 'Pulse' and who knew if it
could actually save the planet to have it?
[I](Can't really push the story forward without answers from
Augmentation De La Piraterie.)[/I]

But then, in a flash of Chaos Energy, among the flames, came a
battered female amber hedgehog. She'd just used Chaos Control-
but without the help of a Chaos Emerald, and with the many
wounds from the battle with Mardius, which failed. She panted as
she tried to stand, for she saw that she was going to be burnt
if she didn't get away from the fire that was approaching the
house she appeared on. But then she saw a hedgefox that seemed
familiar, but she was unsure of it, and there were also a dozen
Mist-Locks standing near, as well as an unfamiliar bat and Wes,
whom of which was trying to save the blue hedgefox.
As she walked closer, but slowly, she caught Wes saying that the
hedgefox knew a possible way to save the planet, and the amber
hedgehog -limping as she did so due to the metal earlier- walked
over to them, asking the bat, "You sure you wish to kill the
only one who somehow knows how to save us all and defeat Le
Garant, including your life as well? I-"
She stopped for a moment, wincing as she took a deep breath,
then continued while looking to Wes and the bat as well, "-think
it unwise.. As for you Wes, please... try and step away from the
gun- both of them. I know that you are trying to protect the
hedgefox, but I am trying to help everyone... at once. Our
planet, by the way, has been... taken, Wes, by the Mist-Locks,
and... we need to find the Pulse now. So, we need to work
together, if we are to save Mobius, and Sonic and the others. I
am trying to help.."
But then, she fell to her knees, exhausted. The past few days
had left no sleep for the hedgehog, but yet she'd managed to
face off with Mardius, escape the battle, and Chaos Control
here, just to see more distrust or destruction from both sides
of the situation than the next. And with no time to heal herself
nor help too much with the others, and she had basically gone to
the wrong place.
(sorry if this wall is crappy, but I tried.. I am trying to push
the story along too)

Tired of hearing the pleads, Gabriel lowered the pistol he had
aimed at Alt. "You talk too much," he replied as he focused on
the pair he had one pistol pointed at. He had ignored Wes,
tapping him on the shoulder as he didn't want anything to do
with him.

[I]"I know, it's a great trait isn't it?"[/I] she said to the
bat with a laugh, she was confident he wouldn't shoot. She
turned and faced the two mist-locks. [I]"Hey next time your guys
steal a whole freakin planet. At least bring some popcorn when
you become the entertainment."[/I] she said with a large grin on
her face as she disappeared.
