[I](Since nobody else was willing to take up the role of
starting a Christmas What If i'm taking the liberty of wiring it
myself. The What If is set soon after the Mist-Locks have been
destroyed, deterred, or whatever gets everyone's stuff returned
and the planet doesn't fall into a complete oblivion.)[/I]
Mid-December, and all across mobius the citizens were preparing
for the week or so of festives, a number of houses and buildings
were putting up their lights and christmas trees, others were
rushing around the newly replenished stores buying gifts thanks
to getting their money and much more from the Mist-Locks' brutal
ending. And of course there was the groups singing christmas
carols.

A certain light blue hedgefox dropped a few rings in a hat next
to a group of carol singers. [I]"Beautiful."[/I] she said giving
them applause as she walked past. She was in a good mood. Back
home she had always enjoyed christmas, and given this was her
first Christmas in this dimension she was hoping that it would
be just as fine. She was wearing a big light pink coat and a
pair of black trousers, far from her normal blue shirt and black
skirt. A nearby shop caught her attention which she wandered
over to, in the window were Christmas themed animatronics, far
from what anyone who had visited Freddy Frazbar's would expect
in terms of animatronics though. After gleefully watching it for
a few minutes she continued heading through the streets watching
everyone going this way and that. She was looking for one place
in particular, a place that would be serving something warm. She
didn't have her usual Sniper Rifle with her, instead she had
four bags with her looking like she'd been going shopping
herself. She had took it upon herself to take a trip to
Mobotropolis after a dear friend had suggested that she spend a
part of it away from the 'females only' city she lived in.
[I]"Besides hon, you know from home how it is. Everybody blows
off their steam on Black Friday, that weekend and Cyber Monday,
then when christmas comes around those who are liable to make
issues will have already bought all of their needed presents and
be peacefully meeting with friends, relatives, and
celebrating."[/I]
In a way she was appreciative of this. After all, she had people
outside of the city that she wanted to see. Friends outside of
the city. Friends that she was unsure she would ever make. And
she wanted to see them while she was out. After all, when else
was she going to be so open minded and appreciative of people,
male or female?
[I]"Let the festives begin."[/I] she said to herself with a
smile as she followed her path. She was eager to see who she
would run into.

At this same time, Lori and Rose were walking down the street
together, hoping to get a few gifts for Ajax and Natasha, and
Blaze as well. A shopping bag was in Rose's hand, and she had
one as well, and she walked, however oddly and getting looks
from a few people, with a cheery but controlled tone in her
steps. Except that she had one gift for Dawn in her bag, and
Rose... she had no idea whom or what her bag was or whom it
meant to go to. "Okay, so I've got Dawn's gift, now I need to do
Tasha, Ajax, and Blaze's gifts.. Oh, and Darkenlight, if he's
okay with it. But what should I get them...?" she said, quieting
down on the last words as her scarf waved around lazily every
few moments in the wind. "And mother... who is that bag for
anyway?"

Rose whistled a bit, cheerful as well. She had finally gotten to
do Christmas shopping with Lori for the first time, and she also
held a bag like Lori. But the gift she was going to give she was
keeping secret for now, as she listened to Lori muse about the
gifts so far she'd gotten, and what she should get for whom, but
then, as she stopped her song she was whistling, Lori brought up
the bag. "Lori... I'm not about to tell you. And I won't,
because it is a secret," she answered, right before bumping into
someone.
Someone only Lori could remember.
- Woo, Christmas threads! And yes, Rose wasn't looking, and it
was mad she'd bumped into! Otherwise, I am liking this thread
already, Mad! And I was too busy earlier to make the X-mas
thread, sorry!
Also, here's the song Rose was whistling (it's my real life fav
too!)

As usually the frosty hybrid is out patrolling the streets
looking for criminal scumbags to put to jail as he felt that
crime never stops its reign of terror not even on a great
holiday like Christmas. He walks amongs the sidewalks to check
around corners, alleyways and even peeking througth the windows
of old abandoned warehouses althought its cliche to say the
least..it wouldnt hurt to try. After hours of searching he
hasnt found a single soul thats causing trouble for
everyone...maybe the thugs have thier own ways of celebrating
the holidays.
[Looks like the coast is clear for today..I guess I should go
back home] he thought to himself as he quietly walks amongs the
sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. Unlike everyone else..he
isnt dressed for christmas nor does he have a gift for anyone in
mind.
Could it be he isnt interested in this very special day? Or did
he thought about giving everyone a gift but it must have slipped
his mind. He keeps walking further and notices Lori..with a
woman he has never seen before as well as Madness he isnt too
far away. "Hm?" he wonders.

The sudden impact from Lori caused her to lose her footing and
hit the ground. [I]"owwwya."[/I] she hit the ground hard and it
knocked the air out of her, it took her a few for her to find
her breath as she got back up. Not very helped by the cold
weather. It took another few for Fem to realise that she knew
who one of the duo was having seen her during the scenario with
the farmhouse and the mall. [I]"Lori, isn't it?"[/I] she asked
her with a slight smile on her face. [I]"It's good to see that
you managed to stay alive through all of the Mist-Lock
Mayhem."[/I] While she hadn't given her much window of
opportunity, Lori hadn't exactly been a hinderance while she had
been around the group in the mist-lock fiasco, so what was there
to hate? Fem did then notice the other hedgehog with her.
[I]"I'm not interrupting anything important here am I?"[/I] she
asked the two of them thinking they were friends out Christmas
Shopping.
She spotted Ty after he had spotted her. [I]"Ty!"[/I] she
happily called out giving him a wave, possibly the first time
she'd called him by name? She was happy to see him and hoped he
would walk over to them.

"Wrong person... but I don't think I was looking..." muttered
the crimson hedgehog in a daze, falling on her butt, and
dropping the bag as she laid with her olive green eyes glazed
for a moment.

A familiar white dragoness walked down the streets of the city,
completely entranced by the festive decorations and merry
atmosphere. Snow gently cascaded down from the clouds above,
adding to the masses of snow already on the surface world.
Dawn's boots crunched through the snow below her - her attire
was mostly the same, except now she was without her headpiece
and wore a pink coat and pink wooly muffs covering her horns
whilst ribbons dangled from her covered horns. The young
princess was quite curious about this world's holiday, and
noticed that everyone around her was happy and in a very giving
mood. Decorative lights coated nearly every building whilst
wreaths were on every door. A large Christmas tree completely
covered with ornaments and lights sat in the plaza, a shining
gold start sitting on top.
"Amazing," Dawn breathed, entering the shopping district. She
walked by a toy shop, peering inside to see young children
picking out and playing with a variety of toys. The very sight
made Dawn smile warmly, a sense of calm washing over her. After
what every endured during the Mist-Lock assault, it was good to
see the residents slowly get back to their daily lives.

A causeal looking smile smreaded across the hybrids face as he
approaches the female sniper girl nothing at how Mad has changed
over the past few months. "Hey Madness long time no see...whats
going on?" he wondered.

"Mom...!" Lori said as her crimson-furred mother slammed into
the blue hedgefox from a while ago, sitting her dazed mother
upright, and saying as she picked up the bag Rose dropped, "Nice
to see you again. And, well, that dumb crap that happened back
in the capital was not annoying enough to irk me to death, but
yes, it's good to see you. But however, this woman here is my
mom, Rose Andalin." As she lifted Rose back up, the shorter
hedgehog shook her head, and to answer said hedgefox's question,
Lori added, "We're just out buying gifts. And plus you still
haven't told me your name." Then Ty approached them, and to
answer him, she said, "Oh, hi! And plus, my mom here bumped into
your blue twin-tailed friend here..."
Mad, you bumped into Rose. Rose is also my character, so Lori
didn't bump into Rose Female Madness anyway. (she was to the
right of Mad and Rose). Also, my post is cruddy, sorry!

[I](Doh! My bad! Picked up Ratatouille for the Xbox 360 today
and enjoying it. Think of it as me tryna multi-task. XD)[/I]
[I]"A long time? Amusing Ty. We only took out Le Gerant about
two or three weeks ago."[/I] she said giving him a thumb up. She
did a 'whoops' face at realising she was talking to the wrong
one of the duo. [I]"Oh. Sorry. My mind's just a scramble. People
to find, presents to giiii TY!"[/I] she reached into one of her
bags, she'd just remembered she had a gift for him when she said
that she had some to do, she pulled out a small box, present
wrapped, she held it out to him. [I]"It's for you. And what's
the chance my Alt's crush, your brother, is close by? I have
one for him too."[/I] She pointed out waiting for his response
before looking back over at Rose and Lori. [I]"Well i'm glad to
meet you either way Rose."[/I] she said regaining her happy
face.
