Genderbend Madness

(Anyone's free to join - it's just something to pass the time.)
It was a quiet day on Mobius - the sun was shining, the air was
calm, there was nary a cloud in the sky, and a peaceful aura
washed over the planet.
In a small library in a nearby town, a white dragon was enjoying
some time to herself by engaging herself in this world's
literature. Since she was not well-versed with this world, Dawn
took it upon herself to try to get herself well-versed with the
Surface World in hopes to better interact with its residents.
While she was focused on the task at hand, that didn't mean that
she couldn't enjoy a good book or two while she was there.
Humming a familiar tune, Dawn scoured through the shelves for
her next piece. She scanned the various books lined up perfectly
before her....until a certain one caught her eye. Tilting her
head slightly, the dragoness pulled a deep blue and red book
from the shelf; the cover was mostly baren of any designs or
words save for the odd white jewel imbedded in the very middle.
Curious, she opened it and flipped through the pages, landing on
a particular page that had odd text...Odd, glowing text that
transitioned from blue to a pinkish hue...what could this be?
"Odd..." she mused, closing the book and rubbing her hand on the
jewel. Upon contact, the jewel started to glow, until a wave of
multicolored magic spread to every corner of the world, a
blinding light following soon after. The light didn't last long
before it faded, the library and the rest of the world were left
unchanged and untouched.
"Wh-what was..--" The dragoness paused, noticing her voice was
noticeably...deeper. Well, the dragon was no longer a "she"
anymore...Everything that made Dawn a female had completely
vanished and were replaced with the features of a male.
Horrified and afraid, he screamed.

Ajax was just across the room, propped up and snoring; he had
fallen asleep while reading, the book still open and laying in
his hand. Dawn's screaming however woke him up quickly, and he
fell backwards, slamming his head on the floor. "Oww..." He
rubbed the back of his head for a moment, then rubbed his eyes.
"Alright... Who screams in a flippin' library?" He looked over
and quickly saw Dawn... at least, he thought it was Dawn;
couldn't really be anyone else could it? Not too many white
fairy dragons on Mobius, if any. Then he noticed something about
his voice. Why did it sound... feminine? He looked at his hand
for a moment; normal. Tugged on his hair; normal. Touched his
chest; that wasn't normal. He glanced down to a pair of breasts
on his... well, now her chest, and immediately knew what had
happened. "Oh for crying out loud... Dawn, what did you do?"
(I didn't know if you wanted it to just be Dawn who's
genderbent, so I just went with it)

Lori had been in the same area once the spell had happened, and
then she had fallen over in surprise when she saw Dawn at the
very time Dawn herself had touched the book. The amber hedgehog
squeezed her eyes shut, cursing the binding light that had
appeared. As she had gotten up again, she felt more... muscle
than she'd remembered, and he too, found himself genderbent as
Dawn screamed. Now what?! Damn it... even my thoughts feel
different... he thought in anger and surprise, looking at one of
the windows in curiosity. He was still quite tall, but with much
more muscle, and with even shorter spike/quills than before. At
least never really dressing in dresses and being trained what
males usually would was an advantage for him/her.
"Well, Iblis-damn it. Now I'll have to change my name for
now...." the now-turned-male amber hedgehog growled, coming over
to the frightened... male dragon. "Looks like I got caught in it
too... but I wonder if the others got hit with that like us..."
he added, deciding to glance at the book for a moment, and then
seeing the gem that was on the book Dawn had dropped. And then
Ajax came into the male amber hedgehog's view, and he answered
the now-turned-female lynx in annoyance of the current problem,
"I think we've been genderswitched, Ajax. Is Tasha here?"
[font=andale mono]-Wow, I like the idea of this! Already
thinking of temporarily changing Lori's name; I think it'll be
Adrian for now... I'll put it in my next post in here. Also, I
didn't know Ajax had posted while I was typing, I actually had
two windows of the same thread sort of..- [/font]

[font=times new roman]Darkenlight was perched on the roof of a
building near the library, looking like a strange gargoyle
statue. His eyes were closed as he was resting, though his ears
were perked to alert him of any threat. After a while, he
yawned and stretched as he rose from his crouched position.
This was when the multi-colored wave and bright light happened,
Darkenlight let out a brief shriek of surprise. He raised an
eyebrow as nothing seemed to have happened. "Strange...noth-"
he or rather she blinked as she noticed the higher pitch of
voice. She looked herself over, letting out a loud higher
pitched shriek. Quickly covering herself with her wings which
were noticeably lighter in shade. I have to find the
enchantress who did this, she thought with an irritated snort as
she jumped down into an ally, hiding in the shadows, hopefully
the trace aura hasn't faded. She closed her eyes, ears perking
and swiveling around. As soon as she saw the trace aura, though
faint and rapidly fading, she took off after it.[/font]

Blaze was busy resting under a tree as he slept peacefully near
the libary. He was having a peacefully dream but was interrupted
as he heard a scream and jumped up from his sleep rubbing his
head. " Who turned on the screeching radio?..." Blaze asked as
he scratched his head lightly before stopping briefly. His tone
in voice sounded off...way off. " Wait a minute....oh....this
again..." blaze replied to himself as he stood up and stretched
before shaking his tail again.
He walked over to the nearest window and saw the features that
was placed on his/her body. " you know if i didn't have a girl
spirit possessing me all the time this would have freaked me out
more than usually. " Blaze replied before looking in the libary
and noticing a few others that he could somewhat recognize. He
decided to walk inside to address the others. " Let me guess...a
magic jewel or evil spell has been cast on us. " Blaze replied
as she crossed her arms.

"Dawn's" feathers ruffled when she heard Ajax's accusation, then
paused when he noticed Lori and Blaze had suffered the same
fate. He glanced down at the book, a pang of embarrassment
rising through her being. Had he had known that simply touching
this accursed book would cause this, he would have never taken
it from the shelf.
"This is witchcraft!" he hissed, before glancing at the lynx and
raising a rather unimpressed eye ridge. "Praytell Ajax...as to
why you seem the only one who is untouched by this pox, hmmm?"

Ajax... or Jess, for the time being, slapped her hand against
her face. "Dawn... Praytell how you don't see the new set of
knockers of my chest? Or my altered voice?" She sighed, shaking
her head and walking over to inspect the tome Dawn had; this
was, what, the third, maybe fourth, time this had happened? The
fact that it had happened even once was enough to get on her
nerves. "Alrighty, let's see what it is you got there..."

[font=times new roman]Mephy was pretending to be one of the
computers in the library, nearly fitting in due to being
differently colored from the rest. He chuckled to himself as he
spotted someone heading his way. That’s right, he thought with
a mischievous grin, sit down and move the mouse, sucker.
Although there was a weird multi-colored wave followed by a
bright light, this stunned Mephy long enough for him to
accidentally manifest. Once it all faded the person ran away
leaving the stunned Mephy to sit there. The scream of the
dragon helped the manifestation of a PC to shake off the stun.
“Huh what, why’s there a dragon screaming?” he asked before
noticing the voice change, “Jury, did you change my voice
again?” This is when he or rather she noticed the weight
difference. “Wa-wa-wait a minute,” she said with a slight lag
as she looked down, “uh….t-th-thi-this is d-d-d-d-different.”
Her lagging seemed to get worse as she sort of panicked. Mephy
twitched like crazy as she attempted to run to find Jury. She
tried to hold in a scream but it didn't work. It sounded like a
skipping scene from a scratched DVD of a horror movie at best.
She eventually came upon the group, pausing in her lagging panic
to ask, "Have any of you seen a person like me, with a glowing
apple logo on her chest that sounds like a pompous windbag?"

[font=times new roman]Jury was quietly reading a book about
anatomy when everything transpired. She blinked as few times as
her eyes readjusted to the light. “That was an odd occurrence,”
she stated plainly only to notice her usual voice having turned
to a male, “ever so curious as I am to find out what has caused
this.” With that, she or rather he closed the book and put it
back in the shelf. This was when he heard the first scream.
“Libraries are for quiet,” he pondered, “what would cause a
scream?” The second scream, he somewhat recognized. “Mephy?”
he asked as he made his way towards the sound, having yet to
notice the physical changes.[/font]

she cautiously opened the door and walked in. Wasn't long until
she came upon the group, she blinked as she just stood there.
Upon hearing the dragon say a familiar name, she looked around
for him. "I don't see Ajax anywhere," Darkenlight thought
outloud as she looked around, "unless there's more than one Ajax
in this world." She started to back away, wings uncovering and
opening into a more threatened position. She narrowed her eyes
and glanced around as Mephy came upon the group. This didn't
make her feel any safer. [/font]
