Part III: Data Retrieveal
By: Kyrahl Date: November 16, 2014, 4:46 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Kyrahl's head sat on the table in the middle of the room,
lifeless in a sense that she was not responding at all to those
around her. Her LED eyes lit up, the now isolated head acting
like a computer and they were met with on the screen:

Lyric was walking past the room, however stopped, staring
intently at the shiny robotic head.
However blinked.
...Wait.
"Isn't this one of the Doc's Bots?" He questioned, walking in
cautiously as he tilting his head as he leaned forward, looking
towards her eyes.
"...I wonder what this would be... Could it be the Doc's
connection??"
He didn't pay quite attention to the Dapper, suit-wearing figure
quite close to the head, inside of the room.
He started to utter an attempt of a password, hoping it wasn't
voice recognition.
"Username: Doctor Ivo Robotnik. Password: Mymustacherox86"

A gentle sigh came from the other figure in the room. A pair of
glowing eyes met with the crow.
"Ah. I see I have invited a guest inadvertently. Please refrain
from trying to alter her cranium; she has very
important....'data', as it were. I need to keep it intact, and
not tampered with, save for what I am currently doing. However,
you are more than welcome to propose theories and suggestions,
given you seem to be aware of this thing's relevance......oh,
and it is a pleasure to meet you."
His eyes did not wait for a response, as he immediately
continued work on the skull, attempting to get access straight
into her cranium from above.
His floating blades looked like a surgeon's tools as they very
slowly moved about her head, attempting to cut a precise
incision to allow access to where the chips within were stored.

He blinked, jumping slightly.
"I must be tired.... When did you get here?" He asked picking at
a standing feather at the back of his neck, then shook his head.
"Meh... Don't worry about it, Man. I just have something I
wanted to see..." He murmured.
"I'm no good at hardware.. so by all means... do what you
wanna." He finalized.
"...But if you find any dirt on Doctor Robotnik... both Mildly
embarrassing or.. well Yeah embarrassing, I'd like to know. That
head was on...."
He looked around, as he noticed a metal body towards a corner.
"Yeah she was working for the Doc not too long ago... And I
heard a rumor... ok well not a rumor but I heard sounds, and I
just wanna get a confirmation."

"Well." Ialis sat back for a moment, his large ears straight up
at attention. "It is no problem, sir. I plan to extract
everything once my plan is done. Whatever dirt you want on that
man, I will find. It just may take time, unless you have a
workaround to propose." He leaned back over, as the blade slowly
slid along the length of her cranium.
Sure, she was a robot, but the value, the weight of what was
contained within? He HAD to be careful...precise.

"I got all the time in the world, Man~" He stated, sitting on
the ground and leaning on the table as he closed his eyes.
"But good luck and all."

And in came an Alternate.
Sometimes teleportation didn't work as it was intended.
The Alternate appeared in the room landing face first to the far
right of the room less than amused that her attempt to warp to
one of her soldiers had gone awry as early as getting there.
"Ugh. Son of a Veyron..." she mumbled as she got up. She
spotted Lyric, then literally straight after spotted Ialis, she
shouldn't help but grin at the sight of the suited individual
that she had bumped into when he had his blades at Fem's neck.
"Oh hey there Commander Conundrum Causer." she said
intending for it to be a somewhat humorous greeting. The way she
was grinning said that she saw it as humorous anyway. "Am I
interrupting anything important?" she asked the two of them,
her smile fading to a small one. "Given everything going on
recently i'd figured that a robotic head being dissected by a
member of the crew trying to sort things out kiiiinda liberates
the need for things to do that can help out."

"Well, I figure you should procure a beverage from somewhere.
This will take some time." He calmly stated to the crow as he
continued analyzing, inspecting....preparing.
He noticed almost immediately the new entrant, and every blade
was out in an instant, floating....all pointing straight at her.
Those eyes could pierce armor.....and they were locked straight
onto her. However, he let off a low sigh, slowly retracting all
but the ones that he was operating with.
"Ah. The aide to the girl who totes around a rifle. I see you're
without your helpless associate this time." He no longer made
eye contact, back to his work.
"Perchance, has she learned anything from her defeat?" He
matter-of-factly inquired, as the blades continued to dart
around the head before slowly grazing the surface.

All of the blades and devices coming whooshing out of Ialis
didn't faze her, she hadn't done anything to irritate him,
believably, so why would he attack? Her theory being proven
correct when they all backed off back to him. "You know, the
way you put that, you suggest that she should have had some way
to get out of that situation, that's valid enough in itself,
thanks Wires." she said giving him a nickname, it was never
that she felt that he was a problem. If anything he had helped
her out. Ialis asking her if Fem had learned anything from being
cornered like that just made her sigh. "I can't say for sure,
but I'm doubtful, all that seems to have came from it was her
being enraged. When you can hear her screaming at who are
supposed to be her allies from halfway across a shopping mall
you can take a good stab at a guess. But hey I didn't find out
the entirety of the situation as I was on the other end of the
place and they were all gone before I could catch up." she
explained running a hand through her hair. She was a little
angered by Fem's bad attitude but surprisingly enough she could
understand the cause. "She's stubborn, but if she's ever
missed a shot using that rifle then I've heard nothing on it.
The benefits outweigh the problems. At least in my eyes, the
heck if I know what the rest of the council think. Surely you
had a few kinks to iron out when you started being a
warrior?" she asked him. She put a finger to her lips in
thought. "Besides." a proper grin returning to her face.
"Life is boring if you don't have challenges. And a challenge
like this, this is what one might call an early Christmas."
she said, completely unaware that Ialis had used those words two
days before. If she knew she had she would have been absolutely
laughing. But alas. Considering the tools the emulan had out it
was worth guessing that he was taking apart the head. "If we
can put aside my challenge and put our focus on one that
concerns all of us, what's the dealio with the head? Don't heads
generally stop working without the rest of the body?" of
course she hadn't been at the building and the battle so she
didn't know that the head had kept itself active after being
detached from the body.

The dapper-clad Emulan sighed, eyes narrowing upon hearing the
news.
The more that Alt spoke of her, and how her skills outweighed
the problems, he frowned; he was not impressed at all.
"You are babying her, miss. Allowing her attitude to remain such
will only harm her in the long run....and quite likely in the
short run." He reminisced to the training regiment he and his
friends were put through.....sighing quietly.
"I am disappointed in her progress. Skills are one factor, but
her attitude and behavior demerit her. If I had to be
honest....." He turned one of the blades with a few finger
movements, "....she shouldn't even be allowed to have a weapon,
let alone own a long-range rifle. If she continues down this
route, I cannot guarantee she will not run into me once more. If
you are anything like the rank you say you are, you should
behave like it, miss." He closed his eyes, shaking his head in
disapproval.
"But I digress. The head holds every female captive's
personality within. I am going to get them out, and conduct a
few experiments to see what I can do to reverse the process.
It's a difficult task, but I have little choice in the matter."
