Part III: Paving the Streets in Blood

three are not combat-based, though any of them might include
some combat RP if neccessary. The little survey I asked you to
fill out applies here! No edits are allowed to be made from this

This thread is not for the faint of heart!
"Hmmm." the husk hummed for the millionth time.
"...Unbelievable." Aeson murmured, frowning a little after just
completing a conversation with the undead hyena, "Our dear
Goddess... has been sealed away? Just like that! Such a thing
has never happened to me yet! I can't even begin to thank you
for this pre-emptive warning!" the much-younger hyena added, a
twinge of anger whistling through his tone. His gaggle of young
women tailing him were all clustered together, still keeping
away from the husk, yet not too far from the far more alluring,
younger hyena. They looked a little shocked to notice the light
tone of anger in his voice, something they had never heard from
him before in the short time since he arrived in this city.
"Hmmm."
"...and Gravier was his name... yes, yes I know him well. I
believe that I had managed to pick off some of his dear
Snow-Claws one by one and lured them into Sumaren's abode..." he
then pointed at the zombie-Cultist, "You - I mean, I remember
Sumaren, right?"
"Hmmm."
Aeson frowned, "A lot has changed us over the centuries,
correct?" he added, pointing out Mardius' apparent thoroughness
in his responses.
"Hmmm... no. A lot has changed since being Reborn. I - you and I
- will do whatever it takes to serve and bless this miserable
ball of waste of a planet with Priuella's presence and bring
forth our Paradise." Mardius replied, irritation quickly showing
upon his features.
"You speak the modern dialect very well. I can only speak like
this with the help of these two following me..." Aeson
commented.
"Hmm. I have spent many centuries studying and learning the way
of word of each time period I have lived through."
Aeson then pointed to behind the two hyenas. Two figures -
sisters - revealed themselves from their hiding. One of Lyrebird
descent, manipulating the vocals of the younger hyena whilst her
partner, of peafowl descent showed them out of hiding. They were
both draped in modest, floor-length white dresses. "I have been
asked by their... generous leader to leave my time temporarily
to help him achieve his goals; and in return, I get to serve the
wishes of my Goddess. They have remained hidden during my time
of stay here, due to the obvious lack of trus-"
Mardius suddenly raised a twisted, decomposing hand to Aeson's
face, causing for him to wrinkle his nose and step back.
"Yes! Yes! I am full aware! The same has happened to myself
also. Only this time I don't have them following me around and I
get to fully exert my revenge upon these miserable Mortals..."
Mardius snapped impatiently.
Aeson nodded with a sigh, looking to the two birds and smiled,
"I thank you, I believe that it is no longer necessary for you
to adjust my voice to suite this time period..."
The peafowl nodded and with a flick of her feathered hands she
lifted the invisible, voice-altering veil over the hyena.
"Nay! T'is but a time of passionate vedergälda to bestow upon
thine forsaken land. Aeson Mardius, Father of which birthed a
kind and faithful following of Our Dear Goddess Priuella.
Priuella! Here Us! We shant allow thine mortal, misbegotten
milk-livered canker-blossoms roam free upon this abode!" he had
his hands raised up to the heavens before they curled up into
fists and slowly lowered to his sides. He then took a deep
breath and calmed down, allowing for the time of his anger to
slip away into the ever alluring smile he had before turning to
the sisters, "Fear not, for Our Goddess smiles upon thee." he
winked. The Brume-sisters could feel their hearts race and their
cheeks blush; this Siren was just... just so alluring. Unlike
his future counterpart.
(My Old English is suuuper rusty. >__> Sorry if it's kinda meh!)

"Noooooo fu'cking way." Seiji growled, looking up from his cell
phone his ears folding slightly.
"That hot piece of Spotted a'ss is Mardius?!"
His nose wrinkled, pocketing the phone inside of his ninja
attire.
He had to return to his work attire after such a promise of
funds!
He cracked his neck, lowering his goggles in preparation as he
listened to the two of them.
He drank in 3/4ths of the party below...
...Mardius.. much too gross to even think about.
His nose wrinkled, avidly getting used to the undead Hyena's
scent.
Their words reminded him so avidly of his childhood.
He pulled up his red neckerchief, vanishing, then reappearing
behind the two hens, as he sneered, "Ladies~! Gent! Ugly ass
Jack-O-Lantern~! If you are done whining to our vanished Lady~
We have much more fun to be had!"
He grinned under the neckerchief.
"...Well I could anyways~ With these two lovely ladies after
all~" He cackled slightly.
From the lenses of his goggles, as he pulled up his hood over
his ears, leaning on them and wrapping an arm around them.
"You don't mind if I take them off your hand do you? It
shouldn't take too long, yeah?"
His gaze went to the younger version of the Very being that
just... well was ugly personified.
His tail wagged excitedly, as if the very words from the fairer
looking one kept his attention quite well...
However it seemed to be more of a rhetorical question than
anything.

The sisters jumped a little at Discord's sudden appearance
behind them, then grimaced slightly as he wrapped his arms
around them.
"Given your reputation, it won't take long at all." one of them
snapped before pushing his arm off her shoulder. The other one,
the peafowl, didn't do much other than frown at the invasion of
her personal space.
Aeson turned around to face the mongrel, a gentle smile on his
face as he addressed him, "Oh thine fæger

presence would be such a
gift upon Our fair maidens. Alas, thou must stay, as the calling
of Our Goddess - and Our Ally above - beckons to proceed soon."
he agreed with the mongrel with a nod, earning himself brief
glares from the Brume sisters.
Mardius continued to scowl more than ever, choosing to ignore
this... disrespectful pest.

He didn't seem to care how off put the girls were...
He couldn't help but snicker, "Ooooho~ Such MOXIE~" He cooed, as
his ears twitched as he tried to listen.
Holy hell that way of speaking was grating.
Not even Okaasama was this obnoxious.
"I have no fu'cking idea what you just said... but if it's gonna
equal fun and fu'cking with people then I'll do it~ After all~ I
can easily take to your requests~ Much more easier on the eyes
than bag o Dust over there~" He hummed,
He glanced over towards Mardius, his tongue stuck out as he used
his now free arm, to take off his red goggles, "I do aim to
Please~"

"So thats what your planning to do..I knew you were involved in
this somehow Mardius" A familer haedgewolf has approached the
group with the eyes of a jaded knight filled with focus and
ferocity clearly doesnt plan on letting a bag of bones destroy
his newfound base of operations or rather his current residence
deciding to call Mobotropolis his new home to protect.
The hybrid takes the time to observe his enemies he was going up
against..The Brune sisters who appear to be bodygaurds or
henchmen, The hyena he saw at the fake festival two days ago and
finally Mardius the Big Bad himself.
He also takes note of the presence of Discord..however given his
recent behavior he witnessed due to him being on his best
behavior around his mother he decides that the mongrel was the
least of his problems and assumes to be there to either assist
the super soldier...or just to simply spectate the whole event.

No words came from the young hunter's mouth as he had just
arrived on the scene not to long after his brother had spoken.
His expression was no more pleased then his brother as he simply
crossed his arms a bit before a small puff of flame escaped his
mouth. As if the mist locks weren't bad enough. It was only a
matter of time before Mardius decided to make a move.
Blaze had taken into account the others present in the area and
simply forwned a little when he saw Discord among them. He
looked around for a moment and hadn't seen the elder fox which
worried him a bit. Was Discord planning on aiding the old hyena
or was he here just to mess with the two.?
Blaze's eyes shifted over to the other hyena who seemed to have
quite a few ladies with him. what was his deal in all of this?
If he was partners with Mardius then this might have turned a
bit ugly before things began. Blaze did hope the others were
alright.
" You've already lost once before Mardius. What makes you think
you'll succeed this time? " he asked.

Darkenlight silently watched from the
shadows of a nearby ledge. He licks his lips at the smell of
the rotting flesh but restrained himself. Not yet, he told
himself in his mind, the timing needs to be right. He was
waiting for the right time to drop down from his perch and
attack. His eyes were fixed on the undead hyena, smirking at
the distraction caused by the mongrel. Though he didn't drop
down, the perfect moment wasn't there just yet. He took note of
Ty's and Blaze's presence, gently opening his wings as he got
ready to glide down as the moment drew near.

As she stopped running from where the Mist-Locks and Sonic were,
the amber hedgehog heard voices again as she stopped, and hid
more carefully in an area that was close enough to hear and see
them, but not to make them notice her, and it wasn't out in the
open either. She then picked out these voices as she squinted at
the area -Ty, that other hedgewolf... Mardius?!
She recognized those three voices immediately, but she also saw
two hyenas and more Mist-Locks as she continued to look at them
and observe carefully from her spot. Ty and his apparent brother
were confronting Mardius and the other hyenas from the festival
two days previous, and she knew a fight was going to happen as
soon as the other hedgewolf had a puff of fire protrude from his
mouth, and the anger in both Ty and the other hedgewolf's
voices. And yet she had no weapon!
"I see now... but do they have the Pulse with them... or does
Lyric have it...?" Lori said in a whisper to herself, so quiet
that only she could hear it as she wondered these things,
furrowing her brow as she continued to watch them.

"He says to stay put, Imbecile." the old husk snapped grumpily
as his eyes narrowed upon the approaching Hybrids.
"Nay, Mardius! Speak not of thine young Mobian as if thee were a
frothy crook-pated hedge-pig! Is he not blessed under Us?"
The marble ink of blue and white around the corpse's eyes
swirled, which in turn caused for Seiji's head to be jerked in a
random direction after sticking out his tongue.
"Ah..." was all Mardius' past self could utter, already seeing
his answer. Realizing that the peafowl was still concealing his
own mask, to which he gestured for her to stop hiding it from
the world. He only agreed to hide it when he arrived in
Mobotropolis for his own protection, given what had happened
some months ago. His ink mask was exactly the same as the
husk's; a marble mix of blue and white.
"Oh you knew?!" the corpse barked out in blunt sarcasm, "Since
when? Since I have been a VIP at that Festival? Your deduction
skills are impeccable! I will succeed this time, because now you
have to deal with not only the two of me..."
He and his younger self raised their hands and howled; then
cackled in a signature hyena-esk way, Aeson's being more full of
life, so lively and serene... those whom find attraction towards
males suddenly feel allured and compelled to please him during
that short moment; where as Mardius' was hallow, raspy and
empty, void of any life. From out of the shadows, gaps between
buildings, holes in the ground, from inside barrels, windows,
doors popped the heads of wolf descent; all marked in the
colours of blue, red, purple and orange. The hundreds of
Songbirds scattered across the planet had come together in this
very city... all hiding until they were given the mark to come
out in the swarms like the plague before hurrying in front of
the hyenas, Brume sisters and Seiji.
"You have taken our home! Our everything!" Mardius growled
before looking around the ruined city and grinned, "Nice place,
we'll take it."
His ear flicked up towards the general direction of where
Darkenlight was hiding, as were the attention of the Brume
sisters. One cannot simply sneak up on a ninja... especially
when he has an extra pair of eyes and ears. Those who manipulate
sound and sight, nothing goes unheard or unseen by them;
especially with Le Gerant guiding them...
"The Pulse?" the lyrebird sister echoed, frowning and looking to
her sister, "Someone here is looking for it? Can you see who
that might be?"
"I'll keep an eye out for them... it'll be interesting to see if
we ever get it back."
(Hedge-pig is an actual insult found in one of Shakespeare's
works... kinda funny considering what has been happening on the
forum oc-wise... xD)

Damn it! They noticed me here... Forgot that Mist-Locks could do
that... she thought as she rolled her eyes, then she narrowed
her eyes and saw all the wolves in their colored masks and such.
But who were they? Mardius and the hyena who spoke in a old-ish
fashion had howled and these wolves came out, and she growled in
slight anger when Mardius said he was going in take this city,
no longer wanting to hide as she came out of her spot -which one
of the wolves took right after that. She had made herself a
promise- to protect Mobotropolis, and she was going to keep it!
She wasn't going to let Mardius take it...
"Miss me, Mardius?" she asked in an angered tone, for a moment
forgetting Sonic's earlier request for the gem to save his loved
ones, as Mardius was making her furious again, but for good
reason this time. "You'll never take this place... not if I can
help it! I may have no weapon right now, but I'll fight to save
this place, and my friends!"
