Lightanis got up slowly from her crash
landing. She raised an eyebrow at the Grand Master's words,
specifically young. Though she put it out of mind for the
moment. Lightanis took to the air again but didn't attack,
merely staying out of everyone's reach as she started to come up
with a strategy. "Sy, please defend the dragoness," she
requested as she seemed to pace in the air, her eyes looking at
her opponent as her mind accessed things. His knowledge of
pressure points will be troublesome, Lightanis thought as she
circled around, best try an attack from a distance but where to
find a weapon such as that. Her gaze cast over all she could
see from above, though she did keep an eye on the Grand
Master.

Sy hadn't moved.
He seemed to disregard Light's request, however....he was
walking forward.
Towards the leader, it seemed. It was like something clicked in
the crippled Emulan's mind, that had him in a completely
different mindset.
Both weapons were holstered, his brows raised. It was as if he
was calling himself stupid mentally. A low sigh came from him as
he got between Light and Dava'arus.....quickly unholstering his
pistol, and firing two shots. Both of which were meant to sear
through the air between Light and Dava'arus's fight, and Kai
Zaa's and Dawn's fight, in an attempt to get both to stop.
"If you all would do me a quick little favor and STOP FIGHTING
FOR A MINUTE." He tried to shout to Light, Dawn, and Kai,
pinching his brow. "Unless you're so eager for it, but I am the
stupid person who seems to have forgotten who is who here.
Snow-Claws, yeah?" He glanced to the leader, with a roll of his
eyes. Namely to himself.
"I am stupid for not putting two and two together. Holy shit.
Given that you're apparently the big head honcho of the
Snow-Claws, and now that I know so few of you are around.....I
don't wanna have a go at either of you, really." He
grumbled, the catalyst for his sudden shift of behavior being a
single person in his mind.
Karahl. A Snow-Claw who threw HER life aside to save his.
"Look. I expect in full to have you beat the absolute,
ever-loving FUCK outta me for this. But. One of your own is
in trouble. And no, I don't mean Kai. Guy looks like he can hold
a helluva fight on his own. Hell when I thought I'd go against
him I fully expected to lose. But I digress."
He had a frown across his muzzle, looking back to Dava'arus.
"Foregoing the question as to why on earth you're serving
someone as far-gone as Constance, I.....need a favor. Given you
said there are so few of you, I am sure you know the one known
as 'Karahl'?" He said with one eye closed, fully expecting to
get interrupted by either of the two.
"Look. She sacrificed herself to protect me. I am fuckin'
INSULTING her by picking a fight with Kai Zaa. So.....I'd like
to not do so, and instead request help, perchance. I skewered
her 'killer' so to speak, but.....she's running rampant as a
soulless husk with a machine brain. I want to fix it and I don't
know how. Hell, I don't even know if she's still around, as
I...well....kiiiiinda blew my own arm off trying to subdue her.
But I want to pay her back for the brave shit she's done for
me." He sighed quietly, looking to the two of them.
"If there's so few of you left, surely you'll want to help get
her back like I do, right?"

Ruby continued to look towards the closed gate as her mind
questioned the question the queen's action. Should stood there
staring till fighting erupted behind her and Dawn went crashing
into the near by wall shaking Ruby from her depths of her
questioning mind. As she turned around looking at the group that
had gathered it was then her eyes widen. "no...it can't be..."
Ruby started to walk towards Syruchi not believing what she was
seeing till she was close enough to him to touch his arm
"...Syruchi....your alive..." She bit on her lip and rubbed her
eyes trying to keep tears from running down her face
"..Just how did you survive and how did you get back to the
city!? Skadu told us that you didn't survive the blast from your
shield; he didn't see you anywhere near by, he even held onto a
piece of your shield that shattered off after the explosion. If
things wasn't on a time crunch we would have end up making a
memorial." Ruby raised her arms up wanted to just hug the
Emulan, but saw the bandages then his missing right arm and
slowly brought her arms backs down and clutch her hands into a
fist not wanting to hurt him by mistake.

Dawn skidded to a stop when she caught sight of the Emulan
firing in her general direction. At first, she thought he had
intended to hit either her or the tiger, then realized that it
was a method to halt to conflict once she saw the bullet fly
between her and the feline. Seeing this, she lowered her blade
but left it unsheathed; She was silently relieved now knowing
that she was not the only one who did not want to fight. At the
same time, she was not sure if the group of felines would take
their peace-offering, reason why she held on to her blade.
The dragoness remained silent, not wanting to be caught off
guard should things get sour once more. One thing was for sure,
however...she did not want to see nor draw anymore blood of
another living creature.

Lightanis blinked as the strange arrow
flew between her and the Grand Master. She stopped circling but
remained in the air. "I was only engaged in combat to help
protect those whom were going far from this horrible leader,"
she replied, gesturing to the the few survivors if any.
Lightanis looked at the castle. "Never in the thousands of
years I've lived...have I encountered someone like that beast in
royal clothing," she stated before looking at Syruchi, "does
thou mind if I accompany thou on this quest to rescue the one
known as Karahl? However we mustn't forget about the impending
attack from Le Gerant, we must prepare for it. Somethings will
have to wait until this threat is gone."

The ground quaked at their feet once again, it seemed that these
minor earth quakes were becoming more regular and regular since
the start of the festival two days ago. Only this time it seemed
to be more prominent and the few structures which were not
designed to resist minor earth quakes had collapsed in the
distance.

The ground quaked once more and before long streams of more
Irracirrilum shot from the mines Kyrahl had gone the lengths to
investigate, locate and exploit in preparation for this event.
This could be seen from the far of distance, beyond the city's
borders, forming colossal chains that disappeared high into the
atmosphere from the metal's flexible properties. They seemed to
have slack in them, arching their way up into the heavens.

Upon encountering Ruby's......strange behavior, he stepped back
a bit.
"Erh...uhm. I....don't think I know you very well. Nor do you
know me well enough to merit...this caliber of reaction and
physical contact. Aaaanyway. I'll explain some other time as to
why I'm not dead; but suffice it to say, I'm alive, well, and
extremely lucky."
He didn't have an answer from the Master, but instead from the
winged girl who had opted to barrel straight for him.
"Erh.....I kinda would mind. No offense, but you were picking a
fight with someone who had yet to do so. Note how I'm not
smashed into the dirt and/or a bloody mess yet? Yeeeeah, can't
have that. I will agree that Constance is a vile creature who is
unfit to lead any kind of meritable force, but that is as far as
we go seeing eye to eye." His eyes glanced back to the
Snow-Claws. "I cannot have someone who so quickly attacks
someone without warning on any sort of team with me."
"My stance remains, however, sir....uh.....whateveryournameis.
All powerful cat of probably-ripping-my-limbs-off? Grand Master
person. My friend, additionally one of your kin, is at risk. Do
you have anything you can provide to aid me in getting her back
to her normal, not-mangled state?"
However, an answer would no doubt be delayed, much to his
frustration. He watched as the interlinked tendril-like
apparatuses flared from the terrain below.
"That....can't...be good. That REALLY can't be good."

Dava'arus tilted his head towards Syruchi and listened, pausing
frequently as he spoke so as to not interrupt him explain a few
things, "Yes I very much know who Karahl is... I personally am
not under the Queen's employ. I just happened to be passing by,
given with the war between Snow-Claws and Songbirds; this is
Snow-Claw territory I was initially here to attend to personal
affairs..." he frowned upon hearing more details regarding
Karahl, "...You assume punishment for her sacrifice? That will
be discussed later, until then I will assist you to find and
help her."''
He then turned to face Lightanis, "Thousands of years? From what
I have witnessed your actions and behavior have betrayed your
true age, leaving me with the impression of a child. A child
confused of which pronouns to use in her sentences." he
remarked, noting her incomprehensive mix of Old and Modern
English. Perhaps she was still adapting between Eras?
"So you disagree with her conduct and from the sounds of it you
never have served under her decree. If she has never succeeded
in you complying with her orders then you think so arrogantly of
yourself to force your judgement upon her?" the black panther
also added, "I know not if that also applies to the others, and
if such the case then the arrogance I see here is rather
amusing. It's rare to see such entertainment nowadays."
He then shook his head, "I am afraid that how you have described
her is news to me. I was unaware of her being in danger - and
changes - as I have not been in this city for long today."
It was clear that the Grand Master was only interested in acting
in self-defense and as a look-out for his fellow clansman.
((Kinda stated before that Dava'arus is only acting in
self-defense. Also mostly because he has 5HP lololol. Only fair
to those interested in initiating attacks.))

A heavy, but relieved sigh managed to escape through the
dragoness' lips as she sheathed her raiper completely, wincing
as she felt the sting from the gashes. Just like the Snow-Claws,
she only acted in self-defense, though for her it was more of
her own little way of trying to cope with her failure from
earlier. There were many things she needed to learn about this
world...but given the recent events, she was able to catch on to
the fact that this world did not operate like the Domain fairly
quickly.
"We...owe you an apology," Dawn says whilst bowing a little,
speaking more for herself than the others. "I'm afraid we acted
on impulse rather than trying to access the situation. We had no
intention on causing any more harm to you or your people." She
then began to channel her auras down to her wounds to help speed
up the healing process, though it would take some time for them
to heal if she solely relied on her magic.
At that same moment, the ground quaked again before streams of
an odd metal could be seen rocketing towards the heavens in the
distance. The feathers on the back of Dawn's neck ruffled as she
watched this scene unfold, a sense of foreboding slithering in
the back of her mind. "But it appears we have more pressing
matters..."
