Part II: Knowledge of Power

The frosty super soldier and his crew arrives at thier
destination and just like everywhere else the exterior of the
building was partially ruined with lots of charred burnt marks
and holes at sides of the walls. The large sign on the front of
the entrance appear to be missing some of the letters and one
single letter looks to be tilted like its getting ready to fall
off. The group is then lead inside the library with the place
looking just as terrible on the outside.
Books are scattered across the floor, some of the shelves are
distorted halfway, there are no traces of any females around at
all with some male civilians present are currently knocked out
unconscious on the floor, most of the cumputer desks looked to
be ramsacked and surprisingly some were left behind and
perfectly intact despite all of this. Its painfully obvoius this
place was a victom of its stolen goods being taken away so the
mobians only have luck to rely on if they are going to find
whatever they need.

"What in the name of Chaos..." the amber hedgehog trailed off as
she stopped alongside Ty. She was horrified; the library was,
like the rest of Mobotropolis, messed up and ransacked as she
looked around with the group as they went inside. She looked at
all the chaos that was within the walls, with the books all over
the place and yet again, there were no females anywhere in
sight.
Her indigo-purple eyes scanned the shelves that had books still
on them in worry, but however quietly and focused, moving the
books around, flipping through the pages of a few and putting
them back on said shelves, and yet had found nothing that was
related to the Mist-Locks or the gem specifically. She then came
over to some computer desks that were closer to the back of the
library, and sighed sadly as Lori looked over said desks to find
that most of the computers were either gone or destroyed, and
there wasn't any books in this area that pertained to the
information they were looking for.
But then, Lori saw an old computer that wasn't damaged, and she
said loud enough for anyone within ten feet of her, turning
around as her voice sort of echoed, "I found something! Over
here!" Good! A computer! Maybe it'll have what we need! But I
wonder if it works... the amber hedgehog thought, hopeful as she
stood in place to wait for the others. She had a bit of hope;
but she was unsure if the computer worked or not, and if it had
any information on what they needed, so she'd have to wait and
see.

Lyric eventually followed behind, hands still in his pockets as
he glanced about.
"What a fine Educational establishment." He remarked, as he
started to look about more for a couch.
He picked up a magazine, then managed to find a beanbag chair
about the children's section that was... well had seen better
days but that's as comfy as he could get.
He flopped onto it, getting towards his back, then placing the
magazine on his face, his right leg folded over the other as he
remarked, "Let me know if you actually FIND something. Those
computers look like bricks and I am pretty sure they took any
books about them with them if they went through this place."

The computer was a box of a machine, clearly outdated by model
but still functioning. Its lesser value was the reason why it
was left behind. Only thing to do now was to turn it on...

"Thanks for being productive Lyric..what will I do without you
buddy.." he responded with blatant sarcasm looking annoyed at
his apparrent laziness even though Mobotropolis is at a state of
being an apocalyptic war zone but nontheless he isnt too
bothered by it figuring that he was pretty much a couch potato
for as long as he's known him.
Both his his ears pricked after the amber hedgehog manages to
find a computer thats surprisingly still functional unfortunatly
though it is very old but as long as it has internet any
computer should be fine for the hybrid. "Nice work Lori..lets
see if it still works" he smiles and presses the buttun to turn
it on.
After about a minute he opens up the internet browser using
-Bluegle- as the search engine. He begins to type up Ember and
Topez along with the word Puissance in the toolbar section to
see if he can find any results or to see if the internet would
even work. "Hmm.."

Lilac wandered about the library running her fingers across the
empty shelves. She seemed to have a sad look upon her face as
shelves for meters around were stripped bare with not nearly a
scrap page in sight. "Who would do this? These books are meant
for everybody." She said her voice stern. As the others walked
in she waved and greeted them with a hello. "Hello there. Are
you here to find out what happened to the books to?"

Then she noticed a female dragon-like creature -possibly a
survivor of the ransacking- in the library, walking around
alone, as Ty used the computer to find what they needed, and she
said in a hushed voice, "Ty, I shall be right back. I saw
someone just now..." Then she walked away from her spot, turning
her head to look for the dragon girl.
What the-?! I didn't see her when I came in here, nor did I hear
her... She survived the ransacking... so I have to find her...
she thought, weaving around the shelves and whispering every few
minutes, "Hey! Show yourself," but it didn't do much, at least
to her. She then stopped, and then walked back to Ty, whom of
which was still at the computer.
But is she here still...? Or did she leave?

Lilac was clearly standing out in the open and wondered what the
incredibly tall hedgehog was doing. Having just stepped out to
greet them she approached the hound at the terminal. "Hey sorry
if you're busy but would you happen to know who has done away
with all the books here?"

"Yes..there was a gang who refer to themselves as the Mist
Locks..they are a dangerous bunch who has the power to cast
illusions and various soundwaves" he continues working and
glances at the purple stranger.
"Just recently they robbed the entire city blinded of its
valuables..including this library..they also took away the
female poplulation..what I recommend is for you to hide
somewhere safe..where they wont find you" he said not wanting
for her to be put in danger.

Lilac gasped placing her hand over her mouth. "Oh that's
terrible." She smiled and then continued on with a determined
look in her eye. "That you for your concern but I'd like to
help. If what you say is true the harder we hit the bad guys the
better. Can I join you? I know your busy looking for leads so
I'll leave you to use that computer after I get my answer."
